Kim Zolciak's son, Kroy Biermann Jr., is back home with his mother after his release from jail in his sexual battery case ... TMZ has learned.

Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ ... KJ was released within the last several days and is now living with Kim, who has full-time care of him.

As TMZ first reported ... prosecutors in KJ's criminal case recently filed emergency docs asking a judge to order forensic interviews with "minor children." No other details were provided.

Carrot Top's legal team rushed to court days after his attempted suicide, begging the court to stop the man allegedly attempting to extort the comedian from filing damaging court documents they believe are intended to harm their client ... TMZ has learned.

A motion filed on behalf of Carrot Top -- legal name Scott Christopher Thompson - seeks to stop Brian Evans, the alleged extortionist, from filing new motions and other documents in their ongoing legal battle.

The prop comic's lawyer said, "This is now an emergency in the most human sense" and pointed to Carrot Top's recent suicide attempt.

Nick Reiner says a large chunk of the money locked up in his trust should be off-limits in the fight over whether he gets access to the funds ... because it came from his famous grandfather, late actor Carl Reiner.

Court docs obtained by TMZ show Nick's legal team is arguing California's Slayer Statute -- that basically says no one should profit from their own crime -- does not apply to money Carl left him because Nick is not accused of causing his grandfather's death.

According to the filing, a substantial portion of the funds currently held in Nick's trust came from Carl's estate plan, which included similar distributions to his other grandchildren.

Lionel Richie is back in the hospital after suffering another heart issue ... forcing him and Earth, Wind & Fire to cancel their next three shows, TMZ has learned.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ .... Lionel is currently hospitalized and receiving treatment for atrial fibrillation, an irregular heartbeat.

We're told doctors are treating Lionel with an AFib ablation, which is not considered a major procedure. The minimally invasive treatment creates tiny scars in the heart to block faulty electrical signals and help restore a normal rhythm.

The correspondence between Jackson County D.A. Angel Myers McIlrath and several of the family's attorneys was recently released as part of a grand jury report ... and it appears to show major communication issues between the two sides.

The D.A. sent an email to Gary Bufkin, Esq., July 29 ... stating there was no legal authority requiring her office to share information with civil counsel during an active investigation, adding that there was a process for death investigations, and she didn't think it was appropriate to deviate from it.

Ben Crump isn't buying the official line from Mississippi authorities that Nolan Wells simply drowned to death, saying the District Attorney never explained the injuries the teen sustained to the back of his head.

Crump -- the Wells family attorney -- issued a statement Monday night, claiming Jackson County District Attorney Angel Myers McIlrath is trying to close the chapter on Nolan's death "without getting to the bottom of what caused the blunt force trauma to the back of his head and body."

Crump also released the results of Nolan's second and final independent autopsy, finding that the 18-year-old's cause and manner of death were undetermined. 

An Indiana mom was passed out drunk after guzzling at least 6 beers while she was supposed to be monitoring her 3-year-old son, who drowned in a pool ... and now she's in big trouble with the law ... according to police.

Anthony Aussieker, a rep for the Evansville Police Department, tells TMZ ... Amie Jo Farber consumed 6 or more 25-ounce Bud Ice beers over roughly 2 hours Saturday while she was sitting in a patio chair supposedly watching her son splash around in a backyard pool at someone's house.

But instead of watching her toddler ... Aussieker says Farber threw a little party for herself, drinking to the point where she passed out in her chair.

Clavicular is facing serious charges, including one count of rape, in Massachusetts ... and it appears to be in connection with similar allegations made by a woman who is suing him in civil court.

The Bulwark released a report on Monday ... stating Clav has been charged with rape, drugging a person for sex, and providing alcohol to a minor, all related to an alleged incident that went down in May 2025.

While the alleged victim in the case has not been identified, it appears to be the same incident relayed by influencer Aleksandra Vasilevna Mendoza in a civil lawsuit she filed earlier this year.

Nolan Wells' death has been determined to be "consistent with a drowning" ... months after the 18-year-old vanished during a Fourth of July boating trip to Mississippi's Horn Island.

According to the Mississippi State Medical Examiner's autopsy report, Nolan's manner of death was ruled "undetermined."

“The Grand Jury finds that the position of, the condition of, time of discovery, and location of Mr. Wells’ body is consistent with drowning,” the report read. The Grand Jury, which consisted of 13 men and 10 women, was impaneled on April 20, per local reports. They met again on September 14 and ended on September 18. The report also noted Nolan did not have cocaine in his system, despite rumors.
