This is heartbreaking ... cops say Jennifer Eckhart's mother is the one who discovered her dead in her Florida home ... with a small knife nearby.

TMZ has obtained the incident report from the Martin County Sheriff's Office, which says Eckhart's mother contacted authorities after arriving at her daughter's home Saturday and finding her dead inside the bathtub in the master bathroom.

The report says deputies found a folding pocketknife near Eckhart and observed serious injuries from lacerations. Crime scene investigators and the Medical Examiner's Office were then called to the home.

Carrot Top was hospitalized following a suspected overdose from prescription pills ... TMZ has learned.

A rep for the Clark County Fire Department tells TMZ ... crews responded to the comedian's Las Vegas home around 4:20 PM Friday after receiving a call about a 61-year-old male who was "not alert."

We're told a City of Las Vegas ambulance and a private ambulance responded. Carrot Top's condition was unknown at the scene, and he was transported to a hospital by the private ambulance.

Sources familiar with the investigation tell TMZ ... Carrot Top took prescription medication before suffering the suspected overdose.

The former Ohio lawyer whose attempt to shoot his ex-wife in public was foiled by his gun's safety just had the book thrown at him ... the judge sentenced him to nearly a quarter-century behind bars and used video of the attack to tear apart his defense.

Matthew Exton was sentenced Monday for attempted murder, two counts of felonious assault, and multiple firearm charges after he was convicted earlier this month in a trial that went viral.

Former Fox News associate producer Jennifer Eckhart has died by suicide ... TMZ has confirmed.

Jennifer died in Florida ... according to a rep for the Martin County Medical Examiner's Office. Law enforcement sources tell us ... the case has been ruled a suicide.

A heavy police presence was spotted outside her Hobe Sound home on Saturday morning ... she was reportedly found dead in her home.

People reports dispatch recordings show a call went out at 9:35 AM Sunday for a cardiac arrest at the facility. A separate dispatch alerted first responders to an overdose at the same address.

As TMZ previously reported, Santa Monica police officers found Presley unresponsive and provided life-saving measures. He was pronounced dead just 10 minutes after the initial call, at 9:45 AM.

Presley Gerber checked into rehab the night before he was pronounced dead from a suspected drug overdose ... TMZ has learned.

Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ ... the 27-year-old model entered the Santa Monica luxury rehab facility on Saturday night ... only hours before police found him unresponsive on the property.

The facility provides treatment for people dealing with substance-abuse issues, mental-health problems, trauma, and other medical issues. 

Brian Evans -- the man accused of allegedly trying to extort money from Carrot Top before the comedian's shocking suicide attempt -- says the public has the wrong idea about their legal case ... claiming there are more gray areas than the media coverage would lead one to believe.

Evans posted a video to YouTube responding to common reporting on the case ... blaming a judge for branding him "vexatious" ... he says he was just following the judge's orders.

He says, "It's not as black and white as people try to make it" ... before issuing a challenge ... claiming he'll do any live interview at any time to clarify what's really going on.

Presley Gerber and his famous parents were all smiles in what turned out to be his final public appearance ... and he looked happy, sandwiched between Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber.

Cindy and Rande posed for pics with their only son at the We Are ENOUGH x Aviator Nation launch event in Malibu on June 11 ... a little over three months before Presley died in a Santa Monica rehab facility.

Presley's parents were there to show full support for their son, who was on a panel with others talking about mental health.

Presley, who started modeling as a teen, discussed his addiction to various medications and said he finally realized at age 23 he had "enough." 

1:12 PM PT -- Taylor Williams posted a statement to his Instagram story, seemingly in response to Clarke Carraway.

Clarke Carraway says she ended up in an even more remote area than the "Love Island" villa because of her ex, Taylor Williams ... who she claims left her stranded at a gas station in Oklahoma.

The reality star recalled her time after she left the island -- including the infamous Oklahoma vacation -- on "Kaylor's Crash Out Podcast" ... explaining the trip took a turn when she and Taylor got into a pretty intense argument.

Clarke claims she told him to pull over, and Taylor did ... but once she got out at the station, Clarke says he put the pedal to the metal and took off.

A spokesperson for the Santa Monica Police Department tells TMZ ... the initial call came in at 9:35 AM on Sunday. We're told officers located an unresponsive individual at the location and provided life-saving measures. 

The model was pronounced dead at 9:45 AM. 

Carrot Top appeared to be in good spirits at a Las Vegas event just hours before he attempted suicide ... TMZ has learned.

A witness tells TMZ ... the comedian and longtime Vegas performer attended the soft launch of Finney's Crafthouse around 2 PM Friday, where he was seen at the bar with two women.

We're told Carrot Top was drinking what appeared to be white wine but did not seem intoxicated. One witness says he appeared normal and upbeat while chatting with the women before seemingly leaving with them.

Taylor Frankie Paul is apparently moving on from the show that made her famous ... claiming she's stepping away from "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives."

TFP jumped on Instagram on Monday to share a few selfies and the 'SLOMW' announcement in a long caption ... which touched on her recent public struggles.

Taylor wrote, "My gratitude goes to all the networks that supported me throughout this and gave me the chance to return. However I don’t desire to move forward like this. I originally was willing to be removed to let them all continue on with less stress and I’m back to that point."

A mother of two in Florida has been charged with attempted murder after cops say she intentionally gave her two adult sons with autism overdoses of medication.

According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office ... on September 8, sheriff's deputies received a report about overdoses at a house in Kissimmee.

Deputies say they found 3 people -- 68-year-old Marilyn Therrell and her two sons, 32 and 30, respectively -- suffering from apparent medication overdoses.

Presley Gerber's autopsy has been completed after his suspected overdose ... TMZ has learned.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner performed the autopsy ... and Presley's official cause of death has been deferred.

We broke the story ... Presley died Sunday at a rehab facility at just 27 years old.
