Check out our video clip ... the actor can be seen surveying the location of a scary incident, which shows a banged-up minivan smoking as people attempt to prevent it from bursting into flames. Meanwhile, police tend to the driver, giving him chest compressions as he lies on the ground.

It appears Jason wants to help, but the police have the situation handled. TMZ reached out to his reps for comment ... so far, no word back.

The wife of Lufthansa CEO Carsten Spohr says she's "at the complete disposal" of Italian authorities after running over a pedestrian with her car in a fatal accident.

Vivian Spohr, whose husband runs the German airline, says she's cooperating with an investigation into a deadly Tuesday incident in Sardinia, where she struck a 24-year-old woman with her car.

Local reports say Vivian was driving an SUV in Porto Cervo when she hit a woman who was using a crosswalk. The victim is 24-year-old woman Gaia Costa and she died from head injuries.

He's leaning on faith during this difficult time ... and, while he acknowledges he's put a pause on touring for a time, he doesn't say when he might get back onstage.

Country singer Conner Smith has been charged over a fatal car accident in Nashville, where the truck he was driving killed a woman in a crosswalk ... but he got hit with a misdemeanor offense, and not a felony.

Conner's attorney, Worrick G. Robinson IV, tells TMZ ... the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department issued Conner a misdemeanor state citation.

Robinson adds ... "Conner is incredibly grateful to the MNPD for their time and efforts to carefully investigate this tragic accident and has continued to cooperate at all times."

UFC legend Randy Couture was airlifted to a burn center with serious injuries after crashing during practice runs at a racetrack in Kansas City ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Couture -- who was slated to make his National Hot Rod Association racing debut this year -- was involved in an accident during preparation on Tuesday ... resulting in first- and second-degree burns, trauma injuries and smoke inhalation.

Police are investigating speed as a possible factor in the deadly crash that claimed the life of Caitlyn Jenner’s longtime friend and manager, Sophia Hutchins, according to law enforcement.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department told Daily Mail, Hutchins was most likely traveling over the speed limit in her all-terrain vehicle on a winding Malibu road on Wednesday when heading up a steep incline, along with a Mazda sedan when she attempted to pass the Mazda.

In the process, she clipped the rear of the Mazda, lost control, and veered off the road -- plunging 350 feet down a cliff. There were two people inside the Mazda, but neither were injured.

Country singer Conner Smith's traffic collision in Nashville sparked a flurry of 911 calls ... and, in one, a caller says the person who was hit was actually sitting up in the street after the crash.

TMZ has obtained audio from the aftermath of the incident ... and, it seems multiple people called 911 -- telling the operators a person was lying in the street after a truck hit them in a crosswalk.

One caller says the person -- who they say in the call is a man, but who was later revealed to be a 77-year-old woman named Dorothy Dobbins -- was actually sitting up in the street. It's unclear if she was doing so under her own power or if a person on the scene was helping her.

Dwight Howard is mourning the loss of his beloved dog, Sunday ... saying his companion was tragically killed in an alleged hit-and-run over the weekend.

The NBA center shared the sad news with his Instagram followers on Wednesday, posting several photos and videos of the good times with his Belgian Malinois.

Alijah Arenas is speaking out publicly for the first time about his serious car crash ... claiming the accident was caused by the Tesla Cybertruck's steering wheel getting stuck.

Terry Luttrell from the iconic rock band REO Speedwagon got into a bad car wreck after a concert on Sunday -- crashing his vehicle after falling asleep at the wheel following a long night.

The 78-year-old tells TMZ ... it all went down after a late-night concert -- he was driving from Illinois to St. Louis after staying up until 4:30 AM Sunday. He felt sleepy and headed towards an exit on the highway .... but nodded off behind the wheel while on the exit ramp. His car veered off the ramp, rolled over once and landed upright in the swale area.

The singer says, "I can only thank my Father in heaven for seeing me through. It could've been worse — I might not have made it — but obviously he feels like it's not time for me to leave yet."

Terry confirms to us he woke up "cocooned" -- wrapped in airbags after the crash ... they deployed on impact and cracked his sternum.

Tragedy in Nashville -- an elderly woman was hit and killed by a truck this weekend ... and we have learned the driver was country singer Conner Smith.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Conner was behind the wheel of a Chevy Silverado heading north on 3rd Ave when 77-year-old Dorothy Dobbins was crossing the street Sunday -- and that’s when tragedy struck.

We're told Dobbins, a local resident, was in a marked crosswalk around 7:30 PM when she was hit. She was rushed to Vanderbilt Medical Center ... but sadly didn’t make it.

Julian Fleming, a former Penn State wide receiver, is in serious condition and his girlfriend is dead following a horrific ATV crash in Pennsylvania ahead of the weekend.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, the incident occurred on Friday when 24-year-old Fleming was driving his ATV on a rural road when a deer jumped out in front of him, causing a collision. The impact sent Fleming and his girlfriend, 23-year-old Alyssa Boyd, flying off the ATV.

Police say neither was wearing safety equipment while riding on the four-wheeler. Boyd was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Fleming was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

Distressing dash cam video shows a dump truck smashing into an occupied New Jersey home Tuesday afternoon.

Check out the footage ... the truck drifts from its lane across the roadway into oncoming traffic, knocking down a telephone pole, rapidly making its way across the front lawns of multiple houses.

The truck meets its fate when it rams into the side of a blue house -- its body nearly completely swallowed by the structure.

Dash cam video of the Monday incident in Beaverton is going viral online ... showing a guy on a motorcycle seemingly flipping off the driver of a Kia Carnival and yelling as the two barrel down the highway.

All of a sudden, the Kia swerves hard and smashes into the motorcycle ... knocking the rider off the bike, sliding across lanes onto the shoulder at high speed.
