Chuck Negron -- one of the founding members and frontman of rock band Three Dog Night -- has died.
The singer died on Monday at his home in Studio City, CA surrounded by family, according to his obituary. A cause of death has not been immediately revealed, but the singer battled chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), for decades, and suffered from heart failure at the end of his life.
Negron was born in 1942 and raised in the Bronx, New York, and moved to Los Angeles to play basketball for California State University. During this time, he explored music as he had grown up singing in doo wop groups.

Catherine O'Hara suffered a medical emergency at her Los Angeles home Friday ... and dispatch audio obtained by TMZ reveals she was having difficulty breathing before being rushed to the hospital.
First responders were called to the actress' Brentwood home around 5 AM Friday and O'Hara was then transported to a hospital, where she was listed in serious condition, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. Hours later, the legendary actress was pronounced dead.
TMZ broke the story ... multiple sources told us O'Hara passed away. A cause of death hasn't been revealed. Page Six was first to report the news of her hospitalization.

She began her acting career in the 1970s, when she joined The Second City -- a historic improv comedy enterprise -- in Toronto.
Catherine started out in showbiz by filling bit parts in various TV shows and made-for-TV movies, according to her IMDb page.
Her big break came in 1976, when she started appearing in The Second City’s sketch comedy show “SCTV,” and she remained with the show for three years alongside other future stars like John Candy and Rick Moranis.
She Eventually Began Working In Movies
Catherine switched back and forth between TV and film work throughout her career, and she gained exposure after being featured in flicks like “After Hours” and “Beetlejuice.”
She wasn’t exactly averse to appearing in sequels, either ... because she reprised her role as Kate, the mother of Macaulay Culkin’s character from the 1990 film “Home Alone,” in the movie’s 1992 sequel.
Catherine didn’t mind waiting more than a few years for a sequel, either ... because she agreed to reprise her role as Delia from “Beetlejuice,” which was released in 1988, for its sequel -- which was released 36 years later.
And speaking of “Beetlejuice” -- Catherine met her husband, Bo Welch, on the set of the flick and Tim Burton encouraged him to ask her out ... they married in 1992, and they welcomed sons Matthew and Luke in 1994 and 1997, respectively.
Catherine Received Critical Acclaim For Her Work In “Schitt’s Creek”
Catherine’s career had always been steady ... and it received a serious boost in popularity in 2015, when she joined the cast of “Schitt’s Creek,” which was co-created by her old Second City castmate, Eugene Levy.
She filled the role of Moira Rose, a former soap opera star who was forced to deal with her family’s loss of fortune ... and she remained with the show for the entirety of its 80-episode run.
Catherine was put up for a duo of Primetime Emmy Awards for her work in the show ... and she took home the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series in 2020.
It’s also worth mentioning, she received a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress - Television Series Musical or Comedy the same year.
Her Cause Of Death Hasn’t Been Confirmed Yet
We revealed Catherine had died at the age of 71 in January 2026 ... her cause of death wasn’t publicly revealed.
Paramedics were called to her home in Los Angeles in the early hours of January 30th for a medical aid call, with her being in serious condition.

YouTuber 'Adam the Woo' Cause of Death Revealed
YouTube star Adam the Woo died from natural causes, TMZ has learned.
A rep for Florida's Orange County Medical Examiner tells TMZ ... Adam died of "atherosclerotic and hypertensive cardiovascular disease with obesity."
Adam's dad, Jim Williams, reached out to fans in a Facebook post Monday, writing, "Our beloved Son . . . your beloved friend . . . died, in essence, of a heart attack in his sleep from health issues he probably never knew he had."
He continued ... "Now, we can all stop guessing. Be grateful the Lord allowed him to die at home and not in a foreign country. Be grateful he was found by friends (as hard as that was) and not some nameless stranger."
As we reported, Adam died December 22. Deputies initially went to his Orlando, Florida home for a welfare check, but found nothing out of the ordinary.

Kim's husband, Adeel Khan, confirmed the news on Instagram Saturday, describing an intimate and painful goodbye ... writing that his beloved husband, best friend, and partner in life and business had "taken his final breath."
Adeel revealed Kim was diagnosed with colorectal cancer in 2018, saying he "fought valiantly, winning many battles along the way and exceeding all medical expectations" under the care of Dr. Lawrence Piro and his team at Angeles Clinic and Cedars-Sinai but ultimately, "God decided it was time for our angel on earth to return home."
Elvis Presley Co-Star Yvonne Lime Dead at 90
Yvonne Lime, who acted in movies alongside Elvis Presley and Katharine Hepburn, is dead.
Yvonne died Friday, according to Childhelp, a national nonprofit organization she co-founded that's dedicated to helping abused, neglected, and at-risk children.
The cause of death is unclear but Yvonee's nonprofit says she "passed away peacefully."
Yvonne was born and raised in Glendale and she graduated from the Pasadena Playhouse before getting into Hollywood ... appearing in a bunch of movies in TV shows in the 1950s and 1960s.
She appeared opposite Elvis in the 1957 flick "Loving You" ... and they went on some dates during production ... with Elvis even bringing her to Graceland for Easter weekend in 1957.
Yvonne's first movie role was in 1956 when she landed a part in "The Rainmaker," which starred Hepburn and Burt Lancaster.
In '57 before the Elvis movie, Yvonne played Michael Landon's girlfriend in "I Was a Teenage Werewolf."
Yvonne married TV producer Don Fedderson in 1969 ... and she later served as president and CEO of his company, Don Fedderson Productions, managing the rights to huge TV shows like "The Betty White Show," "Family Affair," and "My Three Sons."
She was 90.

Guy died peacefully Thursday night in Oxford, Mississippi ... with Julie telling us he had been hospitalized for a couple of weeks with a lingering, undisclosed illness.
