Hulk Hogan, just months before his death, convinced his good friend, President Donald Trump, to sit down for an interview for an upcoming Netflix doc, the director revealed to TMZ Sports.
"Hulk Hogan: Real American" hits the streaming giant next week, and the man behind the highly anticipated four-part series, Bryan Storkel, shared the story of locking down POTUS.
"There's a nice little surprise interview with Donald Trump, which [Hulk] helped me set up. We went to the White House and interviewed Trump and he talked all about Hulk Hogan," Storkel told Babcock.
Bryan says it took a few calls for Hulk to convince the president to do the interview -- he's a busy man -- but DJT eventually came around and agreed to sit down in the spring.

Nadia Farès -- a popular French actress -- has died several days after reports say she was found floating unresponsive in a pool.
Global news agency Agence France-Presse broke the news about Nadia ... citing a statement from her daughters confirming her death.
According to AFP, Farès was found floating unconscious in a Paris swimming pool on April 11. She'd been in a coma since being pulled from the pool ... and passed away Friday.

"Downton Abbey" star Nathalie Baye reportedly died Friday.
She died in the evening at her home in Paris following a Lewy body dementia diagnosis, her family told French press agency, AFP.
Lewy body dementia is one of the most common forms of dementia, and symptoms include visual hallucinations, according to Alzheimers.gov. It leads to problems with thinking, movement, behavior, and mood.

Longtime Angels star Garret Anderson -- the franchise's all-time hits leader -- tragically died on Thursday ... TMZ Sports has learned.
We're told the 53-year-old had a medical emergency at his home in Newport Beach, CA ... and dispatch audio details an unconscious male amid the request for service.
Anderson, born and raised in Los Angeles, was drafted by the Angels in 1990 ... and went on to play for the big league club from 1994 to 2008, becoming one of the greatest players in franchise history.
Garret had a ton of personal as well as team success in Anaheim ... making three All-Star teams and winning a World Series in 2002. He also won the Silver Slugger Award twice, in 2002 and 2003.

Hulk Hogan may be gone, but it's "Hulkamania Forever" at WrestleMania 42 this weekend in Sin City ... WWE set up an awesome exhibit honoring the wrestling legend, and his son, Nick, stopped by to take it all in.

The process requires a formal application, a sponsorship fee and approval from the Walk of Fame selection committee ... and Jane says she plans to submit everything before the May 15 deadline.
She says her late son "would've loved" the idea, noting the two used to stroll along the Walk of Fame whenever they visited Los Angeles.

A family member tells TMZ ... Joy passed away at her Los Angeles-area home Tuesday surrounded by family, after getting sick with pneumonia several weeks earlier. We're told she fought until the end and fully expected to recover and get back to work at her beloved Burbank bakery, Aunt Joy's Cakes.
Joy was working at Aunt Joy's until the very end ... we're told she was working the day before she went to the hospital to receive medical care.

Sid Krofft, the co-creator of the classic TV series "Land of the Lost" and "H.R. Pufnstuf," has died.
According to PEOPLE ... the TV icon died peacefully in his sleep on Friday at the home of his friend and business partner, Kelly Killian.
Krofft was an award-winning producer and puppeteer whose decades-long career included the creation of the classic shows "Donny & Marie," "Mutt & Stuff," and "Pryor's Place."
'Euphoria' Season 3 Premiere Honors Eric Dane and Angus Cloud
"Euphoria" launched into its new season by remembering its past ... the show paid tribute to late stars Eric Dane and Angus Cloud during Sunday's Season 3 premiere.
At the very top of the episode, the show displayed a title card with Dane's photo along with the text, "In remembrance of Eric Dane."
Similarly, the show honored Angus -- who played Fezco -- and executive producer Kevin Turen at the end of the episode. Both died unexpectedly in 2023 after Season 2 dropped in 2022.
As you know ... Eric died in February after a battle with ALS -- a disease that attacks nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord, which has no cure.
