Edwin Castro -- the lucky Los Angeleno who won a $2 billion lottery jackpot in 2023 -- is the latest victim of the Pacific Palisades wildfire ... losing his Malibu house in the blaze.

A source close to the situation tells TMZ ... Castro's beachfront property was totally destroyed by the fire ... with pictures of the aftermath showing the property completely razed -- wooden foundation boards and not much else on the beach.

The house -- which he reportedly bought for $3.8 million -- sat right off the road ... a small white home with beach access, 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.

The Kardashians fled their homes in Hidden Hills after a dangerous wildfire broke out in the nearby area ... threatening their neighborhood.

Sources tell TMZ ... as of Thursday night, Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, Kylie, Kendall, Kris and Rob all left their homes. The family followed the mandatory evacuation order that was issued due to the Kenneth Fire, which rapidly spread across 1,000 acres in a few hours.

While the evacuation order has now been lifted, our sources say it's unclear whether the Kardashians have returned home.

Another major celeb had his property ravaged by the Pacific Palisades wildfire ... this time it's actor Anthony Hopkins, whose home has burned to the ground.

Video obtained by TMZ shows the smoky remains of Sir Anthony's mansion, burned to its very foundation and reduced to charred rubble.

Celebrities continue to lose their homes amid the wildfires torching Los Angeles, and TMZ has learned of three more stars whose properties have been completely destroyed.

Jeff Bridges' rep confirms to us his Malibu home he shares with his family was tragically lost in the Pacific Palisades fire. The 4-bedroom home with views of the Pacific Ocean has been in the Bridges family for generations and was inherited by Jeff, his brother -- actor Beau Bridges -- and their sister.

Candy Spelling is also reeling from the tragedy after losing her home on Malibu's Pacific Coast Highway. Candy tells TMZ ... "I’m in shock and processing this massive loss for our family. I am beyond grateful for the memories. It was truly a wonderful gift to have."
