Metta World Peace is down to trade his sneakers for gloves -- the NBA champion tells TMZ Sports after signing rising boxing star Chordale Booker, he's not against getting some action himself!!

We spoke with Metta and sports business manager Paul Guarino after they inked a deal to co-manage Booker, a super welterweight from Connecticut who won his 24th fight by knockout in August.

Metta said it's an exciting moment ... so much that it's motivating him to spar with Booker during his training ... and possibly even hop on his card when a fight is booked.

Jalen Ramsey was fined over $14K by the NFL for unsportsmanlike conduct ... punishment for the star cornerback hitting Ja'Marr Chase after the star wideout spat on him during the Steelers-Bengals game.

Several NFL insiders broke the news Saturday morning, reporting the league office slapped 31-year-old Ramsey with a $14,491 fine for the week 11 incident.

Tatiana, the 35-year-old daughter of Caroline Kennedy and Edwin Schlossberg, revealed she was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia in an essay published by The New Yorker Saturday morning. Her form of leukemia has a rare mutation called Inversion 3, making it harder to treat.

She was diagnosed just hours after giving birth to her 2nd child in May 2024, when her doctor noticed her abnormally high white-blood-cell count. Instead of being discharged with her newborn daughter, she spent 5 weeks at Columbia Presbyterian receiving chemotherapy.

Donald Trump assassination conspiracy theorists may not believe it, but Thomas Matthew Crooks worked alone when he tried to kill the prez -- this according to the FBI.

Fox News conducted an interview with FBI Director Kash Patel, FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino, and an unnamed senior involved in the Butler shooting investigation ... and the three told the outlet the assassination wasn't part of a great cover-up.

WFU's athletic department released a statement from Rodney's wife, Faye, Saturday morning ... stating Rogers passed away peacefully Friday surrounded by loved ones.

Faye mentions Rodney rising above adversity -- he was paralyzed from the shoulders down in a 2008 ATV accident -- keeping upbeat and joyful despite all his challenges. Faye did not reveal a cause of death.

Jellybean Johnson -- best known for being a founding member of Prince's band The Time -- has died.

Jellybean -- real name Garry George Johnson -- died suddenly Friday night, his family tells TMZ. The cause of death is currently unknown.

Aside from being the one and only drummer in The Time -- which later changed its name to Morris Day and the Time and the Original 7ven -- the late musician is known for being a leading innovator in what became known as the Minneapolis Sound -- a funk, rock and soul movement in the 1970s and '80s.

8:00 AM PST -- Donald Trump is slamming Marjorie Taylor Greene once more after she officially announced her resignation from Congress.

Check out his Truth Social post -- he calls her a traitor and once again accuses her of being upset at him for not returning her phone calls. He also says her association "with the WORST Republican Congressman in decades, Tom Massie of Kentucky," did her in.

Bitterness aside, he adds that he appreciates her previous service to America.

Donald Trump reacted to Marjorie Taylor Greene calling it quits as a member of Congress Friday -- and the president didn't seem bothered at all that his former friend and supporter was leaving, calling the move "great for the country."

Trump spoke by phone with ABC News reporter Rachel Scott last night when he made his first remarks about MTG's resignation from Congress, which she announced earlier in the day.

Trump told Scott, according to her X posts ... "I think it's great news for the country. It's great."

Beloved Italian singer Ornella Vanoni, whose international hits include "Senza Fine" and "L’appuntamento," has died.

Vanoni died from cardiac arrest at her home in Milan, Italy, according to Italian newspaper La Stampa.

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni expressed her sadness following the news, remembering Vanoni’s "unmistakable voice" and her contribution to Italian arts on X.

Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene says she's in for a career change ... because she's leaving the House next year.

The Republican from Georgia just posted a long video on social media explaining why she plans to resign from her seat in Congress when the calendar turns to January.

MTG has been the U.S. representative for Georgia's 14th congressional district since 2021.
