During the State of the Union on Tuesday night, President Donald Trump paid tribute to the late right-wing political advocate Charlie Kirk, who was publicly killed last year ... saying there should be no political violence of any kind as Charlie's wife, Erika Kirk, is seen getting emotional in the audience.

While Trump was honoring those whose stories have impacted our country recently, he took a moment to honor who he called his "great friend, Charlie Kirk." As the broadcast panned to Erika in the audience, tears filled her eyes as the president described the fatal last moments Charlie lived.

Erika wiped away tears as members of the audience took to their feet and applauded for her late husband. Trump addressed the nation in regards to Charlie's death, saying we must remember we are "one nation, under God" and must "totally reject political violence of any kind."

Erika Kirk wants the cards on the table when the guy charged with killing Charlie Kirk stands trial.

According to new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, Erika says any request to close court proceedings from the public eye should be denied.

In other words, Erika is calling for transparency when Tyler Robinson is put on trial for murder ... and she wants the public to have access to the evidence as it is presented in court.

Charlie Kirk's assassination inspired some sick users to create online missions depicting the tragic shooting in "Grand Theft Auto Online" ... but, the game's parent company says the scenarios are now banned.

Here's the deal ... videos surfaced on social media recently showing a mission titled "We Are Charlie Kirk" where the player grabs a sniper rifle and shoots an NPC standing under a canopy on the University of San Andreas, Los Santos campus.

It's meant to parody Charlie's appearance at Utah Valley University in Orem, UT, back in September ... when he was shot and killed.

Nicki Minaj is a fan of Charlie Kirk, as she made clear at a TPUSA sit-down with Erika Kirk this weekend ... but the slain right-wing activist was not such a fan of hers -- at least according to an old clip making the rounds online.

Watch the video ... Charlie is knee-deep in a debate with a college student when he names Nicki as someone he didn't think was a good role model for "18-year-old black girls."

But, it's hard to tell whether he was even completely sure who Nicki is. He seemed to confuse Nicki for Cardi B, saying, songs "glorifying wet female genitalia" aren't edifying for young black women.

Nicki Minaj probably wanted a mulligan on her comments about J.D. Vance during a Turning Point USA event ... calling the VP an "assassin" -- during a chat with Erika Kirk.

The rapper appeared onstage at TPUSA's AmericaFest Sunday ... sitting down to heap praise on the current administration while Charlie Kirk's widow asked her questions about her foray into politics.

At first, Nicki's getting the crowd energized ... telling young men not to be "new-scum" -- a dig at California Governor Gavin Newsom. Instead, she encourages them to be like the "handsome" and "dashing" President Donald Trump.

Dave Chappelle says Charlie Kirk's murder is eerily reminiscent of Martin Luther King Jr.'s ... but that's where the similarities between them end -- full stop.

The comedian released an unexpected Netflix standup special Friday titled "The Unstoppable" ... and, unsurprisingly, Chappelle waded into some of the world's most controversial topics -- such as the life and legacy of Kirk.

DC addressed the killing of Kirk ... noting Charlie got "murdered in a terrible fashion" just like Dr. King, and adding they both were shot in the neck. However, Chappelle says the two can't be compared ... because Kirk was an internet personality who "fundamentally can't function like" the late civil rights leader.

Tyler Robinson -- the 22-year-old man who prosecutors say murdered Charlie Kirk -- made his first in-person court appearance Thursday.

Robinson's father, mother and brother were present as both sides were able to come to an agreement with regard to the degree of media access granted throughout the ongoing court proceedings.

Amanda Seyfried is doubling down on her statement that Charlie Kirk was "hateful" -- a comment that followed his assassination and got her loads of backlash.

The 'Housemaid' star spoke about the outcry that followed her social media comment during an interview published by Who What Wear Wednesday -- and she refused to apologize. Standing her ground, she explained ... "I'm not f***ing apologizing for that. I mean, for f***'s sake, I commented on one thing."

She went on ... "I said something that was based on actual reality and actual footage and actual quotes. What I said was pretty damn factual, and I'm free to have an opinion, of course."

Elon Musk says fans swarming him for a selfie aren't the only reason it's nearly impossible for him to go out in public ... he told "The Katie Miller Podcast" Charlie Kirk's murder raised the stakes to life and death.

According to the world's richest man, his friend's assassination reinforced the severity of the situation, making him more reclusive. He couldn't seem to recall the last time he'd been out on a routine errand like a grocery store run or a stop at a drugstore.

"It's not that I don't want to," he said. "I simply can't."

Erika Kirk got understandably emotional opening up about how much she feels the absence of her late husband, Charlie Kirk, around the house.

Speaking on "Fox & Friends" Tuesday while promoting Charlie’s new book, "Stop, in the Name of God," Erika said while the world knew him as "Charlie Kirk," to her he was the love of her life ... and to their kids, he was just Daddy walking through the door.

Erika fought tears as she explained she always tried to make coming home special for Charlie -- and she urged spouses watching not to sweat the small stuff or get mad at their partners, 'cause TBH ... you never know what could happen.

President Trump makes no secret of the fact he wants Jimmy Kimmel fired ... well, ABC just extended Jimmy's TV deal another year.

Jimmy and ABC signed a contract extension that will keep "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on the air through the end of the 2026-2027 TV season ... according to Bloomberg.

The late-night host's current contract was set to expire in May ... but his future with ABC is no longer in doubt.

Erika Kirk wanted to see Charlie Kirk's dead body in the hospital to see "what they did to my husband," but she has never seen the video of him being shot and doesn't plan to.

In an emotional interview with Jesse Watters, Erika explained why she hasn't seen the assassination footage and why she will never watch it.

Erika says she doesn't want the last image in her mind of Charlie to be him getting shot in the neck and dying at Utah Valley University during a Turning Point USA event.

Erika Kirk hasn't said much about Jimmy Kimmel mentioning her husband Charlie Kirk's killer on his late-night show ... but in a new interview, she told Fox News' Jesse Watters what she would say to the comedian.

As controversial as Jimmy's comments were -- they led to a brief shutdown of the funnyman's late-night TV show and a huge critical backlash -- Erika apparently never considered it a major issue for her.

She said, "If you want to say 'I'm sorry' to someone who's grieving, go right ahead. But if that's not in your heart, don't do it. I don't want it. I don't need it."

Erika Kirk took her husband Charlie's death pretty hard ... she's recently revealed she stayed out of her own bedroom for weeks after he was shot.

Erika opened up about her personal life in a speech at the University of Mississippi Wednesday at an event for Turning Point USA, according to Fox News.

Erika told the crowd at Ole Miss she'd lost her "best friend" seven weeks ago when he was shot and killed at a speaking event held at Utah Valley University.

LSU women's basketball star Flau'jae Johnson made it clear this week ... she does not want a statue honoring Charlie Kirk on her school's campus.

Johnson gave a loud opinion on the matter on X -- shortly after Louisiana governor Jeff Landry issued a challenge "to the LSU Board of Supervisors to find a place to put a statue of Charlie Kirk to defend the freedom of speech on college campuses."

Johnson responded to Landry's video note with four question marks ... and then wrote in a follow-up post that anyone who supports Kirk should stop reading her page ASAP.
