Radio host Tony Massarotti is apologizing for muttering a racial slur while live on air this week ... telling his fans he had no idea the term was a derogatory one.

Massarotti unleashed the 80-second mea culpa during Thursday's episode of "Felger & Mazz" ... insisting he had no malice in his heart when he said "z*****head" during his show on Wednesday.

Massarotti was adamant he was simply trying to poke fun at his Gen Z-aged colleague ... and nothing further.

Mike Perry is breaking his silence following his DUI arrest ... sharing his remorse for the inappropriate language he used toward law enforcement during the incident.

The 33-year-old posted an apology to his X page on Wednesday ... saying, "I understand that my words were hurtful and offensive, and I sincerely regret my actions."

"I recognize the important and often difficult work that law enforcement officers do to keep our community safe, and I truly respect the dedication and sacrifice that comes with the job. My behavior was inexcusable, and I take full responsibility for my actions."

Tony Massarotti -- a well-known radio show host who was suspended last year following an insensitive joke involving Black people -- has come under fire again ... after he muttered a racial slur while live on air.

The latest foot-in-mouth moment happened on Wednesday's episode of "Felger & Mazz" -- a Boston afternoon drive show -- when Massarotti was talking with his cohost Michael Felger about his qualms with Gen Z.

The former Boston Globe sportswriter stated he believed the Z in Gen Z "stands for z*****head" -- a term commonly used to offend people of Asian descent.

Retired Judge Gregory Weeks, who oversaw the 1996 murder trial, petitioned the North Carolina state parole board, calling on the commission to release Daniel Green, the man who was found guilty of killing MJ's dad in the mid-90s during a botched robbery.

The reason? Judge Weeks says a forensic blood expert failed to disclose key findings during the trial ... evidence that could've cast doubt as to whether Green was guilty of the horrific crime.

The viral sailor who braved Hurricane Milton on his tiny boat in Tampa, Florida reportedly has a checkered past ... with police alleging he once tried to light a woman on fire.

The alleged incident involving Joseph Malinowski -- better known as "Lieutenant Dan" on TikTok -- took place in February 2023, according to the New York Post, which cites Palm Beach County Sheriff's records.

The Post says cops claim Malinowski was arguing with a woman named Sarah Perry while she was smoking a cigarette about 20 feet away from him near West Palm Beach. She was with her brother and a friend.

Georgetown University's women's basketball team is catching flak for honoring a former player who was fatally shot by a police officer who she slashed with a knife.

The Hoyas' official X account posted a tribute to ex-player Sydney Wilson, mourning her "tragic loss" last month ... but now the post is drawing criticism because newly released police body cam footage shows her attacking the cop -- cutting his face -- before he shoots and kills her.

The tribute post has been on the Georgetown women's basketball team's X page since September 20. Sydney, who played for GU from 2009 to 2013, died Sept. 16 in the police shooting -- and the video of the fatal altercation was just released Monday.

According to the Riverside County sheriff’s office, 49-year-old Vem Miller was stopped at a checkpoint Saturday night not far from Trump's Coachella Valley rally.

Cops claim Miller was illegally in possession of a shotgun, a loaded handgun, and a high-capacity magazine. They say they took him into custody without incident.
