Jessie J's singing the blues this week ... 'cause LAPD responded to her home after burglars broke in and stole a bunch of jewelry, TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the singer-songwriter called the cops after she came back to her L.A.-area home earlier this week to discover it had been broken into and ransacked.

We're told the burglars smashed a back window to gain entry to the house and took off with more than $20k worth of jewelry.

Hip Hop icon Yo-Yo is shocked by the string of Diddy allegations ... she knew the guy back when he was Puff Daddy, and hates the thought of being an alleged victim!!!

Yo-Yo caught up with TMZ Hip Hop at LAX on Thursday and she tells us she believes there's been a mix of both true and fake allegations thrown in Diddy's direction.

She doesn't want to kick Diddy when he's down and hopes for the best ... but also wishes punishments if the worst turns out to be true!!!

Shocking new claim from Diddy and his legal team ... they believe the federal government "orchestrated" the leak of the Cassie beating video to the media.

According to new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, Diddy's attorneys accuse the feds of misconduct in his criminal case ... namely, by allegedly orchestrating the leak of the Cassie tape to CNN.

The video in question is from 2016 and it shows Diddy brutally beating Cassie in the hallway of a swanky Los Angeles hotel during their relationship.

Jabrill Peppers will not be suiting up for the Patriots for the foreseeable future ... the NFL is placing the New England safety on the Commissioner's Exempt list in the wake of his recent arrest.

The league made the move official on Wednesday morning ... some four days after Peppers was jailed over allegations he roughed up his girlfriend during a dispute at a Braintree, Mass. residence.

According to court documents, a woman claimed Peppers got violent with her after they had gotten into an argument following intercourse ... putting "his hands on her neck and" pushing "her head against the wall."

Diddy is taking another bite at the apple ... trying to get himself released on bond, 3 weeks after he was arrested and thrown behind bars.

The rap mogul's attorneys just filed new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, appealing the most recent order denying him bond.

In the docs, Diddy's legal team argues he poses no conceivable flight risk ... contrary to what federal prosecutors have been claiming.

9:35 AM PT -- According to Walker Buehler's reps, the incident actually took place back on Sept. 27 -- while he and a few of his teammates stayed home from the Dodgers' series with Colorado to prep for the postseason.

Buehler's reps say the pitcher and his wife, McKenzie, were attending the races at Santa Anita Park, when he was "unknowingly the victim of a snatch and grab robbery of his watch."

"The incident was reported to police and is currently under investigation," Buehler's reps said in a statement. "We are grateful Walker and McKenzie were not harmed and Walker is focused on the playoffs."

When Diddy was a free man, he had a message for the White man ... come to one of my parties and you'll wind up unconscious with your face buried in a couch.

Case in point ... Diddy was featured in an old video as his younger, cocky self, hanging out with three White dudes and an Asian lady at a house party in the 2000s, apparently in London.

A 7-Eleven clerk in California went down swinging during a violent takeover robbery of his convenience store ... fighting back against a mob and bashing them with a stick.

Footage from Sunday's takeover robbery in Anaheim shows the clerk wielding what appears to be a broom as a mob descends on his store, hellbent on ransacking the place.

The clerk puts up a good fight, and doesn't back down when one of his masked attackers throws a big rock at him ... but he's severely outnumbered and ultimately gets overpowered.

No 5-star rating for this Uber driver! He delivered a heavyweight punch to an elderly passenger -- reportedly for one simple reason: not enough legroom.

Caught on surveillance camera in Dallas Wednesday ... the Uber driver picks up a couple, but doesn't hit the road right away. A few minutes later, he pops out of the car at the same time as his passenger, 68-year-old Suleman Gauba, and viciously jabs him in the back of the head -- so hard, it sends Gauba crashing to the ground.

The Uber driver looms over Gauba as his wife rushes out of the car to witness the shocking scene.

Chris Pine is the latest celeb to have cops descend on his home ... for no legit reason.

Someone called 911 and claimed a person sexually assaulted him at an address that matched Pine's home. When LAPD cops arrived, Chris answered the door ... clearly surprised to see the officers.

Officers spoke with Chris and quickly determined the 911 call was bogus and no crime had occurred.

Kim Kardashian is putting her lawyer cap on ... she says the Menendez brothers should be released from prison.

In an essay to NBC News Kim wrote ... Erik and Lyle Menendez "are not monsters" and are instead "kind, intelligent and honest men" who should have their life sentences reconsidered.

Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón announced Thursday prosecutors are reviewing the Menendez brothers' claims that they were molested by the father they killed, and Gascón will decide if Erik and Lyle should get a new trial, or if they should get a new sentence -- presumably for manslaughter -- that could set them free.

Ashton Kutcher is said to be concerned about getting dragged into the Diddy criminal case, but federal investigators do not have him in their crosshairs ... TMZ has learned.

Multiple sources with direct knowledge of the Diddy probe tell TMZ ... Ashton in no way is a target of the federal criminal investigation involving Diddy.

Additionally, a source close to Ashton tells TMZ ... "This narrative has got to stop. Ashton has nothing to do with this. Zero involvement. Zero knowledge of these [Diddy's] activities. Ashton like everyone else in Hollywood attended a Diddy party 20 years ago."

Sunday's alleged theft of a neighbor's package was not the first time Rashee Rice's mom has been accused of stealing this year ... she was actually arrested in the spring over similar allegations.

TMZ Sports has learned ... Marsha Kearney was arrested and hit with one misdemeanor count of theft of property greater than or equal to $100 but less than $750 -- following claims she took a bunch of household items from a man on March 27.

Court documents we obtained show prosecutors alleged she nabbed 40 items from the guy -- "including food, tumblers, laundry products, merchandise and socks."
