"Big Brother" star Memphis Garrett has been arrested for allegedly owing the state of Florida a whole lotta money -- over $50,000 in taxes collected from his businesses.

The Broward Sheriff's Office confirmed to TMZ he was arrested Thursday on a warrant issued by the Department of Revenue ... and we can confirm he's still locked up -- 'cause his $15,000 bond remains unsatisfied.

According to official documents obtained by TMZ ... Memphis -- real name Robert Garrett -- is charged with a second-degree felony for theft of state funds.

Diddy prosecutors are pulling the baby card to limit the defense counsel's cross-examination of Cassie to the end of today.

Here's the deal ... federal prosecutors filed a letter with the court Friday in an attempt to prevent the defense's questioning of Cassie on the witness stand from spilling into next week.

Prosecutors say the reason is simple ... they don't want to risk that the judge might be forced to declare a mistrial if the very pregnant Cassie suddenly goes into labor and can't continue her testimony.

Justin Bieber is shrinking his circle and some people who have been cut out say he's being isolated from longtime friends because he's in a cult and his church pastor is wielding a ton of influence over his life ... but the pastor says that's bogus.

As the first week of testimony in the Diddy trial draws to a close, TMZ has obtained more never-before-seen footage of Diddy and his A-list pals chillin' and chowin' down on some bird at Thanksgiving dinner in 2017.

Tory Lanez is on the mend and feeling much better after getting stabbed 14 times in a California state prison, TMZ has learned.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... the rapper was transferred back to the prison hospital within the last few days after getting treatment at a medical facility in the Bakersfield, CA area.

We're told Tory's condition has "stabilized," and he's now breathing on his own and able to talk. Prison officials say Tory is currently in fair condition.

There has been a social media swirl over Justin Bieber's relationship with Diddy when Justin was 15, but multiple sources in Justin's life say nothing untoward happened between them.

Our sources -- some of whom were and some who are right at the center of Justin's life -- tell TMZ, Diddy never sexually or otherwise abused Bieber.

As you know, when Justin and Diddy both appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" back in 2011, they stirred the pot when Diddy said Justin "knows better than to be talking about things that he does with Big Brother Puff on national television."

Nikki Bella has to pay her ex-husband a whole lotta cash ... including thousands of dollars a month in child support as part of their final divorce settlement.

The former WWE wrestler and her pro dancer ex reached an agreement for Nikki to pay Artem $3,500 each month for the care of their son Matteo. She's also forking over a six-figure lump sum to him -- $100K now, and another $100K before the end of this year.

According to the docs, obtained by TMZ, Nikki's also responsible for covering the cost of Matteo's speech therapist -- but they'll go halfsies on all of his extracurricular activities.

Tommy Lee and Brittany Furlan are separated, possibly heading for divorce, and his drinking is at the center of the split ... TMZ has learned.

Brittany and the Motley Crue drummer have been living separately for the past two weeks ... according to sources close to the couple. We're told Brittany and other people around Tommy feel like his drinking has gotten out of hand, and while they've urged him to get sober ... Tommy's been resistant.

Diddy supporters and court pundits might think the prosecution hasn't proved any of the criminal counts he's facing, but Touré disagrees ... arguing the government is making a lot of progress on the racketeering front.

We caught up with the music journalist Thursday on "TMZ Live," and his take, after nearly 4 days of graphic testimony, is Diddy was allegedly committing "an ongoing rape of Cassie."

And, Touré sees prosecutors building a strong case for a criminal conspiracy -- aka racketeering -- carried out by Diddy's employees.

The letter introduced by Justin Baldoni's team claiming Blake Lively tried to force a statement of public support out of Taylor Swift has been struck from the official record ... with a judge claiming it's not relevant to the current case.

Judge Lewis Liman struck the letter from the official record Thursday ... ruling the letter doesn't actually ask the court to do anything and it's not important to the specific issues before the court.

In fact, the judge explains, it only serves to "'promote public scandal' by advancing inflammatory accusations, on information and belief, against Lively and her counsel."

Justin Bieber made somewhere between $500 million and $1 billion as the world's biggest pop star, but he blew it all ... and ended up being in such dire financial shape he had to sell his music catalog for $200 million.

The record will ultimately demonstrate that this is nothing more than a manufactured lawsuit intended to tarnish the good names of Smokey and Frances Robinson, for no other reason than unadulterated avarice."

Smokey Robinson is now the subject of a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department investigation after multiple women came forward and filed police reports alleging sexual assault ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... three alleged victims -- all female -- filed police reports against Smokey on Friday with the sheriff's department. The department's special victims' unit has opened a criminal investigation into the claims. We're told the investigation is in its early stages.

Our sources say investigators will reach out to Smokey to try to speak to him about all the allegations made against him in these police reports.

Longtime Reds announcer Marty Brennaman is thrilled Pete Rose is now eligible for the Hall of Fame -- but he admits he's still got a bone to pick with Major League Baseball ... telling TMZ Sports the decision should have been made YEARS ago.

Brennaman -- who called most of Rose's memorable moments in a Cincinnati uniform -- didn't make many bones about it during a sit-down with us the day after Rob Manfred lifted Rose's lifetime ban ... explaining, "I just felt he had served his jail time, if you will, far longer than he really should have had to do it."
