Edgar Berlanga vows to not only win his fight against Canelo Alvarez .... but he's also promising to retire the legendary boxer, telling TMZ Sports boxing needs a new frontman!

"I'm destined right now to make history on September 14th," the boxer said ahead of his Las Vegas bout against Alvarez. "To become a legend that day, to take over the sport of boxing and become the face."

Of course, Alvarez is one of the faces in boxing ... along with other fighters like Terence Crawford and Gervonta Davis.

8/31 5:28 AM PT -- New video from the concert obtained by TMZ shows Isaac Freeman, aka Fatman Scoop, walking around the stage without a shirt on before he collapses.

7:45 PM PT -- Hamden Mayor Lauren Garrett said via social media that Fatman Scoop was being transported by ambulance to the hospital. "Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers."

Scary scene at the Fatman Scoop concert ... after he passed out onstage and got CPR ... and TMZ has it all on video.

The legendary hip hop hype man was performing Friday at Town Center Park in Hamden, CT when he appeared to suffer a medical emergency.

Folks who were there say Fatman Scoop collapsed and passed out ... with people rushing over to administer CPR. Authorities tell us they were dispatched for a medical emergency at 8:33 PM.

Taylor Sheridan made a famous show about life on a ranch ... and now the "Yellowstone" creator is buying one in real life ... and it's massive.

Real estate sources in Wyoming tells TMZ ... Taylor bought a 179-acre ranch in the state for $4.95 million.

The property is known as Papa's Creek Ranch and it's got not one but two trout streams winding through the landscape ... and the ranch also offers waterfowl hunting.

The federal authorities investigating Diddy to possibly get a criminal indictment against the music mogul are chugging along ... issuing a new grand jury subpoena related to a hotel in Florida.

According to new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, federal prosecutors from the Southern District of New York got a subpoena requiring the fancy Miami hotel to cough up documents and other evidence related to Diddy.

Diddy and his ex Daphne Joy are both named in the subpoena. The subpoena calls for the hotel to hand over reservation records involving Diddy, Daphne and other associates of the Bad Boy Entertainment CEO.

If Aaron Donald gets the itch to return to the Rams this season, Kyren Williams tells TMZ Sports he's got no issues whatsoever helping the defensive tackle scratch it!!

AD, of course, retired back in March ... but after video surfaced of him recently beating former NFL running back LeSean McCoy in a sprint -- many have wondered if the future Hall of Famer has more gas left in the tank that he wants to expel on Sundays.

Artem Chigvintsev's domestic violence arrest didn't come out of left field, at least according to people who say they know him and Nikki Bella ... they tell us the relationship has always been "volatile."

The Slipknot DJ stopped by "TMZ Live" Friday to discuss his recent up close and personal encounter with a fire that heavily burned his arms and face in Iowa ... telling us he didn't take as many safety measures as he should have.

Wilson says he knew to keep the gas can away from the fire, to park his vehicle far away from the flames and a host of other fire safety tricks ... but, he got too impatient and didn't put enough distance between himself and the fire.

The radio dispatch from the Artem Chigvintsev domestic violence case reveals ... he did indeed call 911 to request medical assistance, but then added his wife, Nikki Bella, had thrown shoes at him.

TMZ has obtained the dispatch call, in which the dispatcher says, "Initially came in as requesting medical, but now he is stating he got into an argument with his wife and his wife threw shoes at rp [reporting party]."

The dispatcher notes, "There is a child on scene. Medical en route," adding, "There's an active 415 [disturbing the peace] in the background responsible."

Travis Scott won't have any worries next time he decides to party in Miami Beach ... his trespassing charge -- the last remnant of his wild arrest back in June -- has been dropped!!!

A source close to the prosecutor's office tells us the charge has been dropped ... Travis and his legal counsel previously argued there were no clear "no trespassing" signs to determine he was out of bounds, and looks like that was enough to convince prosecutors to drop the case.

Scott's attorney Bradford Cohen tells TMZ Hip Hop … “After arguing the motion to dismiss and the state realizing that there was no path to maintaining the charge, they decided to drop the case in its entirety.  Although not a serious charge, and one that should not have been filed, we are pleased with the result.”

Mercedes Moné has plenty of challengers for her AEW Women's championship and her NJPW Strong Women's Championship ... and Megan Thee Stallion could be one of 'em!

Artem Chigvintsev -- now accused of felony domestic violence -- himself called 911 after he allegedly battered someone in his home ... and minutes later he called back and told 911 never mind ... TMZ has learned.

As TMZ reported, Artem was arrested Thursday morning in Napa, California, where he lives with his wife, Nikki Garcia (aka Nikki Bella).

The alleged victim in the Artem Chigvintsev domestic violence case is cooperating with police ... and we're told investigators want to see if there's a history of domestic violence here.

A rep for the Napa County Sheriff's Office tells TMZ ... the alleged victim has so far been open to talking with investigators, and cops want more time to speak with the person about what happened.

Cops spoke to the alleged victim when officers arrived at the scene ... where they arrested the "Dancing With The Stars" pro for felony corporal injury to a spouse or cohabitant. We're told in order to make a felony arrest, the injury had to be visible.

Brooke Schofield says she's teaming back up with Tana Mongeau for their podcast ... after taking a hiatus following outrage over resurfaced racist social media posts.

We got Brooke at the Montage in Beverly Hills on Thursday and she told our photog she was getting ready to film the 'Cancelled' podcast with Tana.

It's a pretty shocking return ... just a few weeks ago Tana ditched Brooke and went solo after her podcast partner's old racist posts reared their ugly head.
