Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... reports, including the initial one from The U.S. Sun, claiming Pete and Colin had become enemies, were way overblown -- and that was not the reason PD gifted Jost a $20,000 Cartier watch.

The real reason for the swanky timepiece is Pete wanted to offer a mea culpa -- or as Pete would likely say, "My bad, dawg" -- for his behavior prior to checking into rehab.

Celebrity hairstylist Jesus Guerrero had lost 20 pounds and was complaining of chills and hot flashes leading up to his unexpected death, TMZ has learned.

Sources close to the situation tell TMZ ... Jesus had been feeling sick since September last year but continued with work commitments in Dublin, Ireland, as well as in England, and Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates.

When Jesus got back to the U.S. from Dubai, he was driven to an L.A. hospital on February 21, and died the next day.

3/6 -- 10:56 AM PT -- Quinton Aaron tells TMZ Sports he was released from the hospital on Wednesday and is now back home resting.

Quinton Aaron -- the actor who played Michael Oher in "The Blind Side" -- has been hospitalized, TMZ Sports has learned, after he woke up last week with a bad illness.

The 40-year-old tells us ... he was rushed to a Southern California medical facility on Feb. 27 -- after coming down with a fever and a blood-soaked cough.

Aaron says doctors administered a bunch of tests ... and the early indications are he's dealing with Type A flu as well as pneumonia.

Jordyn Woods is heartbroken after losing a close friend to cancer ... saying the tragedy is a reminder that "Life isn't always fair."

The model shared the sad news on Thursday with an emotional tribute.

"I had to bury one of the closest people to me yesterday after she lost her battle to breast cancer," Woods said.

Bhad Bhabie's on-and-off boyfriend, Le Vaughn, is going to be "just fine" after getting shot in the left pinky finger during an early-morning L.A. strip club altercation on Wednesday.
