Austin Butler and Kaia Gerber have kicked off the New Year with a new relationship status -- they're both single ... TMZ has learned.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... the couple ended their romantic relationship around the end of 2024 -- which explains Austin's MIA status from Kaia's family trip to Mexico for the New Year. (More on that later!!!)

However, we're told there's no bad blood between the former couple ... the relationship just simply ran its course after a good 3 years together.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have settled their divorce, TMZ has learned, and in a month and a half they will officially call their marriage quits.

In a nutshell, each walks away with what they individually acquired during the marriage. The money Ben earned from his various movie projects is his, and the same goes for what J Lo earned during their 2-year marriage -- and neither will pay spousal support to the other.

Notably, Ben will keep his stake in his hugely successful production company, Artists Equity -- which he created in 2022 -- in which he partnered with Matt Damon.

Ben formed the company in November 2022, about 4 months after he married J Lo, and AE's since churned out hit movies like "Air," "Unstoppable," "The Instigators," "Small Things Like These" and "The Accountant 2."

Brianna "Chickenfry" LaPaglia will not be participating in cuffing season this winter ... she's vowed to stay single for the foreseeable future following her breakup from singer Zach Bryan.

The Barstool Sports personality made the confession at the Golden Globes Sunday, where she told Us Weekly she made a pact with "BFFs" podcast cohost Josh Richards about her love life.

He said, "If you let all of that other stuff in, it starts to affect you, and you’re living from the outside in," adding ... "And then you’re pretty f****d." He said his family and friends keep him "tethered to the ground."

Alwyn, whose relationship with Swift ended in April 2023, said he’s moved on from the public chatter over their past saying ... "We’re talking about something that’s a while ago now."

A Former wife of Shamsud-Din Jabbar, the terrorist at the center of the New Year attack in New Orleans, is in disbelief ... but recounts a marriage she says was "abusive" -- and this is a different wife from the one who got a restraining order against him.

The ex-wife, Tiera, tells TMZ … she was married to Shamsud-Din for about 5 years before they divorced in 2016. She says their union was unhappy, saying Shamsud-Din abused her ... though she would not get specific.

Still, Tiera tells us she didn't think he was capable of mass murder and had no clue how such hatred washed over him.

Joe Manganiello's birthday cakes tasted awfully familiar this year ... his girlfriend, Caitlin O'Connor, bought his sweet treats from a bakery often frequented by his ex-wife, Sofía Vergara.

Bakery sources tell TMZ ... Caitlin ordered 2 birthday cakes for Joe’s birthday from Cake and Art bakery in West Hollywood, Calif. ahead of his 48th name day ... which certainly raised eyebrows given Sofía's history with the hot spot.

We're told the cakes -- which came out to a whopping $400 total -- each had their own design and flavor. The first dessert was an edible 3D Steelers helmet made from chocolate cake with mocha filling.
