Josué "Josh" Marcus with the City Clerk's Office tells TMZ they've seen Spencer's official complaint, and ... "After review, our practice is to refer these allegations to the Los Angeles Police Department for further investigation, which we will do for this and any new allegations."

Basically, the City Clerk's Office is putting the ball in LAPD's court ... asking the city's police force to decide whether the city's mayor committed electioneering in her latest campaign vid.

Keanu Reeves is going to bat for a director convicted of defrauding Netflix out of $11 Million ... and you can read the letter the actor sent to a federal judge, where Keanu asks for a light sentence for his friend.

Keanu's letter was part of a sentencing memorandum in the case of Carl Rinsch, who was convicted in December on federal charges including wire fraud and money laundering.

Prosecutors claimed he used Netflix money intended for a series called "White Horse" and used it to fund a lavish lifestyle.

DeenTheGreat is pleading not guilty to an attempted robbery charge after cops say he tried snatching a woman's phone during a confrontation on a yacht in Miami ... TMZ has learned.

According to court docs obtained by TMZ, the influencer, whose real name is Nurideen Shabazz, formally entered a written plea of not guilty after his arrest on a felony charge of robbery/strongarm/attempt. The filing also demands a jury trial and requests discovery from prosecutors.

Deen's attorney, Richard Cooper, tells TMZ ... "Mr. Shabazz has had a target on his back for some time now by people wishing to make a name for themselves off of his hard work. The facts are incomplete so far and we ask for patience. We expect the legal process—not social media commentary or clout-chasing—to determine the outcome."

Influencer Ayla Woodruff is getting a divorce ... but not from the influencer she started a whole family with ... instead, it looks like she's divorcing a guy she's been separated from for more than 11 years.

Ayla, who is pregnant with her second child with fiancé Kian Lawley, beelined it to court last week and filed for divorce from her estranged husband, Bar Slilat ... this according to new legal docs, obtained by TMZ.

Ayla says she married Bar on January 21, 2014 and separated from him on May 15, 2015 ... and she's citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. Seems like she's certainly had plenty of time to stew on why things didn't work out.

The money manager whom Floyd Mayweather claims ran a years-long scheme, where he stole $175 million, is fighting a prison sentence handed down in an unrelated case ... TMZ has learned.

According to court docs, obtained by TMZ, Jona Rechnitz was ordered to serve 5 months in prison as part of a case involving allegations of wire fraud … but he is fighting the sentence.

The charges were brought back in 2016. Jona pleaded guilty to honest services fraud and agreed to cooperate with prosecutors on related cases in the hopes of getting a lenient sentence. The case dragged on for years until the codefendants’ cases were resolved.

DaBaby’s ex DaniLeigh’s brother testified about what he says the rap star told him before their bowling alley fight ... and it sounds like things were about to get violent ... TMZ has learned.

TMZ obtained the transcript for the deposition of DaniLeigh’s brother, Brandon Curiel -- who goes by Brandon Bill$ -- in which he testified about his version of what transpired prior to the fight, saying he was beefing with DaBaby publicly due to the rapper disrespecting his sister on the internet. He claims DaBaby was “humiliating her” and speaking about his family publicly.

Brandon said he responded by telling DaBaby it was on when they saw each other in person and says blogs posted about it.

Mackenzie Shirilla claimed she was struggling with "blackouts" just weeks before the crash that killed her boyfriend, Dominic Russo, and friend Davion Flanagan ... according to text messages obtained by TMZ.

The messages -- exchanged between Shirilla and Russo, weeks before the 2022 high-speed crash in Strongsville, Ohio -- show the then-teen discussing episodes where she would lose awareness or suddenly black out.

In early July of 2022, Mackenzie texts Dom saying she recently had one of the worst blackouts she's had ... adding she's "scared it's just gonna get worse."

"Love Island" star Josh Goldstein is suing Hyatt Hotels, alleging a hotel employee gave highly sensitive personal information to his ex-girlfriend over the phone.

The reality TV personality filed docs on Wednesday ... claiming he was staying at a Hyatt in Gainesville, Florida, last year when a woman claiming to be his sister, Lindsey Beth Goldstein, called the hotel.

Josh says Lindsey tragically passed away in 2021 ... and alleges the caller was actually his ex-girlfriend, Brianna Lombardo, who allegedly knew about his sister's death. He says an employee, Megan Gideon, did not conduct proper due diligence in investigating Lombardo's claims and disclosed personal information over the phone without verifying the caller's identity.

Matthew Perry's ex-assistant is headed to prison for helping supply the ketamine that killed the beloved "Friends" actor ... with a judge handing down the sentence Wednesday.

Kenneth Iwamasa was sentenced to 41 months behind bars after pleading guilty to conspiracy to distribute ketamine resulting in death in connection with Perry’s October 2023 fatal overdose.

Back in 2024, Iwamasa cut a plea deal with federal prosecutors ... they were pushing for a nearly 3 1/2-year sentence -- which is exactly what he got -- and argued Iwamasa became far more than just Perry's assistant -- allegedly acting as the actor's drug supplier and injector despite having no medical training.

Janel Parrish is putting her marriage to Chris Long behind her ... as it looks like the two have reached an agreement to settle their divorce.

According to court docs obtained by TMZ, Parrish says the divorce was uncontested and that the former couple has entered into a written agreement to settle their issues.

Additional details have not been disclosed, but at the very least, we know they'll both be declared single once the judge rubber stamps their agreement. Janel is also asking the judge to sign off on the spousal support arrangement laid out in the agreement.

A judge in Alabama has been suspended following allegations she made racial comments about a white court clerk ... along with other claims of judicial misconduct ... according to reports.

Per multiple reports from the New York Post and WBRC, Jefferson County probate judge Yashiba Blanchard allegedly targeted Chief Clerk Amanda Reid ... when a court staffer told the judge on her first day she liked Reid, Judge Blanchard replied, "Oh, I forgot you all like kissing white ass."

The complaint against Blanchard alleges the judge attempted to manufacture performance and insubordination issues against Reid, even moving her desk to a cubicle in front of her bailiff to limit her access to tools and files she needed to do her job.

Josh Jacobs is out of jail following his domestic violence arrest ... with prosecutors stating they need more time before deciding on whether to file criminal charges.

The Green Bay Packers running back's attorneys announced the update on Wednesday ... saying they are "extremely pleased" Jacobs is no longer in custody.

The stepbrother charged with raping and murdering 18-year-old Anna Kepner on a Carnival cruise ship got some more good news as his murder case moves forward ... a judge is allowing him to remain free on bond.

Anna's 16-year-old stepbrother, Timothy Hudson, was spotted going in and out of court Wednesday in Florida ... and was greeted by a throng of reporters as he exited court with his father and swept into a waiting SUV before driving off.

The alleged rapist killer didn't say anything and kept moving.

Gervonta Davis is in the crosshairs of authorities in Maryland who want the star boxer in handcuffs after allegedly violating his probation during an altercation at a Miami strip club last year.

A Baltimore judge signed off on an arrest warrant on April 24, accusing 31-year-old Tank of breaking the rules of his probation, originally stemming from a hit-and-run in 2020, where multiple people were hurt.

The violation occurred, according to local officials, when Davis allegedly attacked his ex-girlfriend, Courtney Rossel, at Tootsie's Cabaret in Miami, where she was working as a cocktail server, during the early morning hours of October 27, 2025.

Rossel claimed Davis forcibly grabbed her by the neck and physically moved her through the club against her will ... before she was ultimately able to escape, which surveillance video appears to back up.

DeenTheGreat is spending at least some of his Wednesday behind bars instead of on a live stream ... because the influencer boxer was arrested in Miami-Dade County.

According to jail records, obtained by TMZ, Deen -- whose real name is Nurideen Shabazz -- was booked Wednesday morning and is currently being processed at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center in Miami.

Records show he was arrested on a felony charge of robbery/strongarm/attempt ... with bond still listed as "to be set."

"The Bachelorette" star DeAnna Pappas' ex-husband, Stephen Stagliano, denies he committed fraud or intentionally concealed assets from her in their divorce ... TMZ has learned.

In court docs, Stephen fired back at DeAnna’s claims that he withdrew a bunch of money from his retirement account, which she was owed a cut of.

Stephen admits he withdrew money from the account, but said he needed it to pay living expenses, including bills for his kids. He said he did not believe and was not aware he "was violating the court’s orders or acting improperly.”
