Kanye West Music Execs Made Him Feel Bruce Jenner's Pain
Kanye West was set up to play the hero -- helping Kim Kardashian better understand Bruce Jenner's transition -- thanks to a bunch of crap he himself had to take on while coming up in the music biz.
As Jenner told Diane Sawyer ... Kanye lead Kim to a breakthrough by telling her everyone has to be true to themselves. Sources tell us Kanye was referring to how music execs made him feel about his identity in the rap game.
We're told Kanye felt like he stood out when his career was taking off -- he was a rapper who also had strong interests in other fields, such as fashion. But he felt like the honchos ignored his true identity, and were constantly trying to mold him into someone they could market better.
Sources say Kanye explained to Kim that standing up to those execs was the only thing that eventually brought him true happiness.
Pretty savvy on Kanye's part ... to recognize Bruce going through the same thing he did, and then convey that to Kim.
Welcome to the Good Life.

By the way, Deborah has a golden connection to Bruce. They became friends though her ex-husband Mitch Gaylord -- the first male American gymnast to score a perfect 10 ... which earned him Gold in the '84 Olympics.
Republican Congressman We Welcome Bruce Jenner
Republican Congressman Jason Chaffetz is happy Bruce Jenner will continue to embrace the GOP, telling us his party needs all the Cali support it can get.
Chaffetz -- an ultra conservative from Utah who has become extremely influential in DC -- told our TMZ photog it's not his job to judge Jenner's choices.
It's interesting ... Chaffetz has become a powerful voice promoting the right of privacy. Although it seems Chaffetz is saying live and let live, he clearly has limits because he has opposed both gay marriage and medical marijuana use in the past.
Jenner told Sawyer he's a long time Republican with no plans of jumping parties.

He just tweeted again, "I have and always will support Bruce hence #gottadoyou. Now recognize I was too vague and sincerely apologize for the way this came across."

It's some of the most compelling TV in memory ... Bruce Jenner tells Diane Sawyer about the torment of living his life as an Olympic hero while living what he says is a lie.
Jenner scoffs at the notion this is a Kardashian stunt ... making it clear the notion of changing gender for publicity is absurd.
Jenner says, as we reported, this is the last time he will be known as Bruce Jenner, although he is not revealing his new name.
It is emotional, eye-opening and, frankly, amazing. You gotta see it.

Kris Humphries During Bruce Jenner: 'Glad I Got Out When I Did'

Right in the middle of the west coast airing of Bruce's interview with Diane Sawyer ... as Bruce was discussing how his decision to go public has impacted his family ... Kris went to Twitter and wrote:
"Man, I'm glad I got out when I did. #Gottadoyou."
You stay classy, Kris.

Vine Star Nash Grier NoH8 Forgives Homophobic Rant Internet Says Not So Fast
Vine superstar Nash Grier can pose for all the NoH8 campaign photos he wants -- his critics aren't willing to forgive ... even if the LGBT group is.
Grier posted a pic of himself at a photo shoot for the famous equal rights advocacy group on Wednesday night. Grier and NoH8 immediately got blasted on the Internet by thousands of people still fuming over the 17-year-old's rant last summer.
In case you forgot ... Grier posted a Vine in which he shouted "f**s" and called AIDS a "gay disease." He eventually deleted it and said he was sorry.
NoH8 founder Jeff Parshley tells TMZ he accepted the apology, and isn't prepared to say Grier is homophobic based on his Vine performance. As for the backlash, he says Grier's just gonna have to deal.
Neil McNeil -- a huge YouTuber who focuses on LGBT issues -- didn't buy Grier's mea culpa and still isn't convinced he's changed. He suggests the Viner donate real time to support the LGBT cause, instead of posing for pics

Kris Jenner Bruce Never Talked Transition During Marriage
Kris Jenner was in the dark about Bruce's desire to become a woman during their entire marriage ... this according to sources directly and closely connected to Kris.

Bruce Jenner Tells Diane Sawyer 'Farewell to Bruce'
Bruce Jenner will put his male persona to rest for good when he appears on Diane Sawyer's two hour special, sources connected to Bruce and the production tell TMZ.
We're told Jenner views the show as "a farewell to Bruce." He will "present himself" as a woman publicly for the first time. But it's not about his look -- it's about his mental state and his journey.
Our sources say Bruce does NOT reveal his new name, or dress like a woman on camera. Nevertheless, we're told Bruce sees the interview as the most significant event associated with his sex change -- more significant than the surgical procedures that will get him there.
Bruce will chronicle his life from age 5, where he identified as a woman. Jenner -- who did numerous interviews for the special over a period of time -- talks about the difficulties he's had in life living as a man but not feeling like one. He also spends significant time talking about the impact his decision to have a sex change has had on his family.
Bruce realizes he has already become a target for people who either don't understand why he's transitioning or those who have outright contempt for it. But he's doing the interview to both free himself and educate the public so others in his position don't have to go through the pain.
Our sources say some of the most compelling moments in the show -- which airs on ABC on April 24th -- are when Bruce talks about "mundane things" that will change in his new life -- day-to-day things that will change.
