The former MSNBC analyst fired over his controversial Charlie Kirk comments is blaming the right-wing "mob" for his termination while also taking a jab at his ex-employer.

Matthew Dowd wrote on his Substack Friday that the "Right Wing media mob ginned up" about the words he expressed about Kirk on MSNBC and attacked him on various platforms.

Dowd says MSNBC "reacted to that mob" and fired him despite his statements being misconstrued and the public apology he made for any miscommunication.

11:10 AM PT -- A Don Kaeo, Thailand municipality employee has died after a road collapsed onto him while he and his colleagues were installing a new pipe, Matichon reports.

The incident occurred on Wednesday.

A Thai road worker was buried alive when the street he was working on collapsed on top of him, leaving him trapped under feet of dirt and debris.

Check out the scary video -- the man's colleagues notice the edge of the hole they dug in Chiang Mai beginning to break ... but their warnings didn't come fast enough. The man becomes trapped as he tries to scramble away, and his coworkers jump into action to save him.

They immediately utilize the excavator to quickly remove the dirt -- heavier from the rain -- and dig in with shovels and their hands once they become closer to rescuing the man, who appears to have been knocked unconscious.

Office Depot Employee Fired for Refusing to Print 'Propaganda' Charlie Kirk Posters

Office Depot has fired an employee for refusing to print memorial posters featuring Charlie Kirk they labeled as "propaganda."

The situation went down Friday evening at an Office Depot location in Portage, Michigan ... and footage shared by attorney and Republican activist Matthew DePerno shows an employee identifying herself as a manager confirming the order would not be completed because, "it's propaganda."

DePerno claimed the Kalamazoo County Republican Party ordered the poster at 2:24 PM Friday and received a call from the store about 3 hours later notifying them the poster would not be printed because it was "propaganda."

11:00 AM PT -- Utah County attorney Jeff Gray plans to file charges on Tuesday September 16, 2025. The first court appearance for Tyler Robinson will be 3:00 PM MDT the same day.

Update

Tyler Robinson, the 22-year-old suspect in the fatal Charlie Kirk shooting, has been arrested and booked for aggravated murder and weapons charges ... according to the probable cause affidavit.

Robinson has been booked on aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm causing serious bodily injury and obstruction of justice. These are all state charges.

As mentioned by officials multiple times the past 2 days, the death penalty is an option in the state of Utah.

The Governor of Utah took the mic Friday with a dramatic statement, "We got him."

Utah Governor Spencer Cox announced Robinson's dad reached out to a youth pastor, who contacted the U.S. Marshals with information that Robinson assassinated Charlie Kirk. As we reported, Robinson confessed to his dad, but was resisting turning himself in, and even threatened to kill himself. We're told Tyler finally agreed to surrender, and the dad contacted the youth pastor, who also works with the Marshals so he reached out to them.

Family told investigators Robinson had become more political recently, and when Charlie Kirk's planned appearance at Utah Valley University came up ... Robinson said Kirk was "full of hate" and "spreading hate."

President Trump has announced the gunman suspected of shooting and killing Charlie Kirk Wednesday has been taken into custody -- and TMZ found a close-up view of what appears to be his shirt.

Check it out -- the shirt is being sold on eBay by multiple sellers and reportedly originated from the Disabled Veterans National Foundation. As you can see, it looks exactly like the one the suspect is wearing in images authorities released of him Thursday.

Investigators paid close attention to the shooter's apparel during a press conference Thursday, noting the American flag and Eagle on the black T-shirt. The suspect was also wearing dark pants, Converse sneakers and a black baseball cap with a triangle on it.

Authorities have shared new video of the suspected gunman who murdered Charlie Kirk Wednesday fleeing from the roof of a 1-story building at Utah Valley University.

Check out the footage -- the gunman, who Utah Governor Spencer Cox described as an "evil human being," sprints across the roof before leaping down onto the grass. He then casually walks off and crosses the street, eventually moving to a wooded area where his high-powered rifle was later recovered by investigators.

Utah Department of Public Safety Commissioner Beau Mason also revealed an enhanced version of an image released earlier in the day, making sure to note the shooter's all-black outfit and shirt that features an American flag and an Eagle, plus his hat with a triangle on it.

The person of interest in the Charlie Kirk assassination walked by several neighborhood cameras -- as the FBI said -- and TMZ has video that appears to show him walking toward the Utah campus where Kirk was shot ... while concealing his weapon.

TMZ obtained chilling video that shows a man dressed in all black matching the description of the FBI's person of interest hobbling down a residential street Wednesday in Orem, Utah at 11:49 AM ... heading toward the Utah Valley University campus just a couple of blocks away.

Remember, the FBI has said the individual arrived on campus at 11:52 AM.

After the shooting -- at 12:29 PM, just 6 minutes after Charlie was shot and as campus is being cleared -- you see students walking in the opposite direction, and in the background, in an unpaved area behind some homes, there's someone dressed in black running through a backyard.

Everyone else in the video is calmly walking down the paved road away from the scene.

Charlie Kirk's alleged shooter scrawled political messages on the equipment brought to the murder scene ... expressing support for the transgender community while making antifascist remarks.

A bulletin -- posted online by conservative commentator Steven Crowder -- was sent around to agents in the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. We've confirmed the authenticity of the bulletin with our federal law enforcement sources.

In the message, the ATF claims "All cartridges have engraved wording on them, expressing transgender and anti-fascist ideology." It does not get more specific as to what the messages say.

The adolescent shooter who pumped bullets into 2 fellow classmates in Colorado is a 16-year-old who looks even younger ... a kid who was reportedly "radicalized."

Desmond Holly was identified by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office as the pistol-packing assailant who shot the students Wednesday at Evergreen High School, according to police. The Sheriff posted a pic showing Holly's boyish mug with sandy hair and acne on his face.

Cops say Holly shot one victim inside the school and the other outside before turning the revolver on himself and ending his short life.

The new angles show clearer images of his clothing, face, features and accessories.

9:50 AM PT -- The FBI has come out and said they are offering a reward up to $100,000 for information that could lead to the identification or arrest of the suspected shooter.

The feds just released an image of a person of interest in the Charlie Kirk shooting.

The FBI says ... "We are asking for the public's help identifying this person of interest in connection with the fatal shooting of Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University."

FBI Salt Lake City released two still images Thursday showing a white man in a black long-sleeved shirt and jeans. He's also wearing a hat and dark sunglasses.

A DNC spokesperson tells TMZ ... “This afternoon, there was a bomb threat to DNC HQ that was determined to not be credible by the U.S. Capitol Police. MSNBC has cut ties with political analyst Matthew Dowd ... following his controversial on-air remarks moments after Charlie Kirk was shot at Utah Valley University, TMZ has confirmed.

ICYMI ... Dowd was asked about "the environment in which a shooting like this happens" -- and he pointed to Kirk, saying, "He’s been one of the most divisive ... who is constantly sort of pushing this sort of hate speech or sort of aimed at certain groups. And I always go back to, hateful thoughts lead to hateful words, which then lead to hateful actions."
