Betty Broderick's son is trying to process his grief now that she's gone ... because, while she obviously killed his father, he also thinks of the good times.

Daniel Broderick -- the son of Betty and Daniel -- tells TMZ ... obviously his relationship with his mother became complicated after she killed her ex-husband and his new wife in 1989.

That said, Daniel also tries to remember the good times ... saying she was an amazing mom back in the day -- engaged, intelligent, fun and funny.

Bobby Cox -- the Hall of Fame manager who was ejected more times than any other manager in MLB history -- has died ... the Atlanta Braves announced Saturday.

The team took to X to pay tribute Cox -- who managed the team from 1978 to 1981 and then again from 1990 to 2010 -- calling him a "wealth of knowledge on player development and the intricacies of the game."

The Braves add his passion for baseball was only exceeded by his passion for his family ... and their offer their condolences to his widow, Pam, and their children and grandchildren.

Betty Broderick Double Murderer Died on Life Support ...After Serious Fall, Septic Infections

Betty Broderick -- the woman who fatally shot her ex-husband and his new wife back in 1989 -- died in the ICU Friday following a number of health issues, TMZ has learned.

Betty's son, Daniel Broderick, tells TMZ ... she had a number of septic infections -- including one infection that she had years ago and came back. Plus, she had a serious fall at the Californian Institute for Women where she was locked away about 3 weeks ago ... which resulted in broken ribs.

Daniel says Betty ended up in the ICU at a hospital off the prison grounds. She was on life support at the end of her life and unable to communicate.

7:40 AM PST -- The Denver International Airport has announced the individual killed after being hit by a Frontier Airlines plane Friday night "jumped the perimeter fence" and was hit only 2 minutes later "while crossing the runway." The identity has not been confirmed, but the airport does not believe they were an employee.

The airport added that 12 people reported minor injuries, 5 of whom were transported to local hospitals.

The pedestrian is deceased, and is not believed to be an employee of the airport nor have they been identified. An individual was struck and killed by a Frontier Airlines flight headed to Los Angeles during takeoff at Denver International Airport Friday night ... and TMZ obtained shocking audio of the incident unfolding.

You can hear everything in the clip -- a female air traffic controller warns her colleagues a person was walking on the runway, and the person is swiftly reported as struck and killed. You can also hear air traffic controllers say there appears to be "limbs" and human remains on the runway.

Emergency personnel are immediately directed to the scene to guard the remains and evacuate the flight ... with the exception of the deceased, only minor injuries were reported.

If you attended a recent wedding with YouTuber Ruhi Çenet in Istanbul, then you may want to get checked for the deadly hantavirus before it's too late!

Here's the scoop ... Çenet was one of 147 passengers and staff aboard the doomed MV Hondius cruise, which is now being investigated for a suspected hantavirus outbreak by the World Health Organization. During the trip in April, three passengers died, possibly from hantavirus, which is an infectious disease typically spread through contact with rats and other rodents.

On May 3, Çenet attended the crowded wedding in Istanbul, Turkey — and he caught a lot of heat from people online after a photo surfaced on social media showing him at the event.

Trump Media and Technology Group Corp., the parent company for Trump's social media platform Truth Social, reported a $405,900,000 net loss in the first three months of 2026 ... according to a company earnings report.

The note -- which his former cellmate Nicholas Tartaglione claims he found in a graphic novel after a July 2019 suicide attempt by Epstein, about a month before he died -- includes a line which reads, "Watcha want me to do -- Bust out cryin!!" seemingly a reference to "The Little Rascals." Joe McCann's lawyer, Edward Andrew Paltzik, tells TMZ ... authorities in Tanzania returned Joe's American passport to him yesterday after he remained in Tanzania for nearly a month while cooperating with authorities.

Edward clarifies this was not a newly-issued passport from the State Department and explains it was Joe's actual passport that he voluntarily handed over to authorities the day after Ashlee's death. Tanzanian authorities chose to give it back to Joe on Thursday.

Burning outrage over Congressional redistricting in Tennessee is exploding in that state's capital ... where state Rep. Justin Jones set fire to Confederate flag.

Justin was protesting Tennessee Republicans approving a new Congressional map Thursday -- splitting up a majority-Black district in Memphis -- when he joined a crowd marching and chanting through the Capitol, held up a printout of the rebel flag ... and lit it up.

While still holding the burned flag -- which had "We will not go back" written along the edge -- Justin told The Tennessean, "They're taking us backwards to this type of environment where Black folks are not treated with equal representation, where we're pre-1965."
