James Wehr -- a popular car influencer -- died in Irvine, California, Sunday after his McLaren sports vehicle went up in flames following a crash, according to police and media reports.

Wehr was reportedly behind the wheel of the 2019 McLaren going at a high rate of speed early Sunday morning when he lost control of the car and hit a curb, then plowed into a tree, killing him and a passenger.

Irvine PD officers responded to a call of a "vehicle fire" along with Orange County firefighters, who extinguished the blaze. When the smoke cleared, police found the bodies of Wehr and the unidentified passenger inside.

Patrick Clancy and his new wife are continuing to move forward after the mistrial in Lindsay Clancy's murder case ... stepping out for a low-key Hamptons coffee run.

TMZ obtained a photo of Patrick and Rachel Danis inside the Milk Pail on Saturday, where the two appeared to be grabbing drinks and browsing the shop.

Wisconsin Congressman and Republican gubernatorial candidate Tom Tiffany is recovering after the small plane he was traveling in was forced to make an emergency landing in Lake Wausau Saturday night.

In a statement posted to X, Tiffany explains he was heading home from the La Crosse County Lincoln Day Dinner when the aircraft reportedly lost power while approaching Wausau Downtown Airport. The pilot then put the four-seat plane down on the lake in an emergency water landing.

The situation quickly turned dangerous after the aircraft began taking on water. Tiffany and the pilot called 911, then got out of the sinking plane and swam toward shallow water, where they waited for rescuers to arrive by boat.

A 15-year-old Alaskan boy miraculously survived days at sea clinging to a capsized boat -- and his dramatic rescue was caught on video -- but two of his relatives weren't so lucky and wound up drowning, according to media reports.

Check out the video ... the teen, identified as Derek Parker Aghnaanga, is holding onto the overturned boat for dear life as rescuers eventually whisk him off to safety.

Derek's mom told a local news outlet that her son survived by holding onto the skiff for days, but his brother and cousin drowned, along with the ship's captain. It's unclear why the boat capsized.

Anthropic's CEO is breaking his silence on the dangers of A.I. ... just days after a former employee said there is a 10% chance of A.I.-induced human extinction in the next decade.

A fire that erupted in a senior living facility has left 16 dead ... and only 10 survivors made it out of the blaze alive.

The fire -- which is currently under investigation -- broke out at the facility in El Edén, Chile, late Friday night, according to multiple reports.

Two men were reportedly handcuffed to their seats after allegedly making violent threats ... including allegedly claiming they had a gun during a flight from Australia to Qatar.

The incident unfolded Friday aboard Qatar Airways flight VA7, which departed Melbourne bound for Doha. Witnesses told Australian outlets the men appeared agitated shortly after boarding ... repeatedly getting in and out of their seats, moving through the cabin and rummaging through their luggage.

The situation reportedly escalated about six hours before landing, when the men allegedly began fighting and threatening passengers and crew members.

Video captured all the drama as the flag-waving man -- wearing a baseball jersey emblazoned with the words, "No Kings" -- ran around the outfield during the seventh inning with security guards hot on his tail. As you can see, the guards finally catch up to him, knock him to the ground, and restrain him.

Ron DeSantis is defending the Lindsay Clancy holdout in the wake of a bombshell report that revealed a history of alleged domestic violence and an active restraining order.

The Florida governor took to X on Friday to accuse the media of launching a smear campaign against the juror.

He wrote ... "A man objected to allowing a woman to kill her three young kids and get away with it, so NBC is trying to smear that juror, whose identity should be protected. Another low for legacy media."
