Columbus Police Sgt. James K. Fuqua confirms to TMZ Hip Hop that the guy who attempted to jump onstage Saturday was stopped by a member of Lil Scrappy’s security team ... not Columbus Police Officers.

We're told the person was officially trespassing with his attempt to access that portion of the stage, as he did not have permission to be in that particular part of the venue inside the Columbus Commons.

Mohamed Sabry Soliman appeared in Colorado court Monday following an attack on pro-Israel protesters gathering in Boulder, Colorado on Sunday ... Soliman is accused of using Molotov cocktails and what the FBI describes as a "makeshift flamethrower."

Soliman will be charged with 16 counts of attempted murder -- two for each of the eight victims, according to the New York Times. Soliman has been charged with at least one federal hate crime ... “hate crime involving actual or perceived race, religion, or national origin.” He was held on $10 million bond, and formal charges are expected Thursday.

Boulder Police said a crowd was attacked at a pro-Israel event called the "Run for Their Lives" walk at the city's Pearl Street Mall Sunday afternoon ... Molotov cocktails were hurled at people, injuring 8. Soliman was arrested shortly afterward.

TMZ Sports has obtained the 911 call related to Gregg Popovich's medical emergency last month ... and it's shedding more light on just how dire the situation involving the NBA legend was.

In the audio, you can hear a man tell law enforcement back on April 15 that Popovich -- who he didn't ID by name on the call -- had just passed out at a San Antonio-area Ruth's Chris Steak House.

Initially, the man said the former Spurs coach, whom he described as a restaurant "guest," was "non-responding" ... though he later amended his words to note that Pop was actually "barely responding."
