DiJonai Carrington is getting candid about her recent career setback -- the Minnesota Lynx guard told TMZ Sports she's feeling "down right now" after her significant foot injury.

We caught up with the shooting guard at LAX this week prior to having surgery on her left foot ... an ailment that happened right after Carrington was traded from the Dallas Wings to the Land of 10,000 Lakes.

She said this latest injury is "super disappointing" ... which is understandable, considering it's not her first hurdle in her basketball career. Carrington suffered injuries at Stanford, Baylor, and throughout her WNBA journey so far.

A pair of Delta Airline jets crashed on the taxiway at NYC's LaGuardia Airport Wednesday night -- but, miraculously, there was only one injury.

The planes were involved in a "low-speed collision" with the wing of one airline smashing into the cockpit windows of the second aircraft, according to Delta authorities.

Officials said the second aircraft flew in from Charlotte, North Carolina, with 57 passengers, touching down minutes before its nose slammed into the first plane about to take off to Roanoke, Virginia.

Tyreek Hill's former teammate, Terron Armstead, tells TMZ Sports the wide receiver was in so much pain after dislocating his knee on Monday, he actually had to laugh to prevent passing out.

Armstead said on Tuesday the Dolphins star called him just hours after he sustained the gruesome injury during Miami's "Monday Night Football" clash with the Jets ... and he explained one of the biggest reasons he was grinning ear-to-ear while being carted off the field was he might've lost consciousness otherwise.

"He was laughing through the pain," Armstead said. "Because it was either that or pass out."

Tyreek Hill was rushed to the hospital on Monday night ... after he sustained a significant knee injury during the Dolphins' game against the Jets.

The gruesome scene unfolded in the third quarter of the "Monday Night Football" matchup ... after Hill caught a pass from Tua Tagovailoa.

As the receiver was being tackled out of bounds, he landed awkwardly on his leg -- and very clearly dislocated his knee in the process.

Honey Boo Boo's got a boo-boo -- her mom, June "Mama June" Shannon, revealed she was involved in a serious car accident Friday afternoon.

The reality star detailed the horrific crash in an Instagram video, revealing a young man T-boned Honey Boo Boo, real name Alana Thompson, as she was pulling out of the driveway of her Colorado residence. She gave the 23-year-old some credit, saying he admitted he was speeding down the road at 40 MPH when he hit her on the driver's side.

The TLC star was treated at the hospital but was able to return home ... and is now resting her aches and pains away.

11:11 AM PT -- Guardians manager Stephen Vogt just provided an update on David Fry ... revealing the player suffered a broken nose and facial fractures.

Vogt added Fry is in good spirits and alert after visiting him at the hospital.

Guardians designated hitter David Fry was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday night ... after he was nailed in the face by a nearly 100 MPH fastball.

The scary scene all unfolded in the sixth inning of Cleveland's crucial matchup with Detroit at Progressive Field.

Fry squared around to bunt on a 2-1 count ... but Tarik Skubal's heater got away from him, and instead of hitting the catcher's mitt, the 99.6 MPH pitch ended up right in Fry's nose.

James Van Der Beek's serious health issues -- notably, cancer -- have caused him to drop out of Monday's much-anticipated "Dawson's Creek" reunion.

Van Der Beek -- who starred as Dawson Leery on the hit TV show -- took to Instagram Sunday and told fans he's "gutted" about missing today's big reunion, which was put together by Michelle Williams. As you know, James was diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer in November 2024.

In his IG post ... Van Der Beek wrote he's currently "out of commission" because he's battling two stomach viruses that have kept him "grounded at the worst possible moment.” He also said he was really looking forward to the charity event ever since Williams conceived the idea in January.

Filming for the flick came to a halt Friday after Tom was treated for a mild concussion, per Deadline. Fortunately, he's expected to be back filming in a few days -- but for now is taking a break out of precaution.
