Two people are dead after a cargo plane veered off the Hong Kong International Airport's runway into the sea ... and, photos show the aftermath of the crash.

A picture going viral online shows the plane -- seemingly missing it's tail and totally smashed in at the front -- sitting in the water while the glow of emergency lights are evidenct in the background.

According to the BBC -- citing local outlets -- the plane crashed into a vehicle on the ground and careerned into the water ... dragging two ground crew members into the ocean with it.

According to a press release, state police responded to an airplane crash at about 8:15 Monday morning on the median of Interstate 195 in Dartmouth, Massachusetts.

In the video, you can see flames billowing from the wreckage on the ground.

The planes were involved in a "low-speed collision" with the wing of one airline smashing into the cockpit windows of the second aircraft, according to Delta authorities.

Officials said the second aircraft flew in from Charlotte, North Carolina, with 57 passengers, touching down minutes before its nose slammed into the first plane about to take off to Roanoke, Virginia.

Firefighting turned into a full-on nightmare in France, where a helicopter went down while scooping water to douse a forest blaze ... and someone caught the disaster on camera.

The crash went down Sunday evening, when a Morane chopper from the Finistère fire department dipped way too low into Rosporden Lake while refilling. That's when something apparently went haywire in the cockpit, and the aircraft spun out of control.

A few dizzying spins later, it plunged into the water with at least one of the chopper's blades snapping off!

Sean Duffy threw blame around on the "Pod Force One" podcast ... claiming Buttigieg lowered the requirements to be considered a "well-qualified" air traffic controller while in charge of the federal agency.

Duffy claims the threshold on the Air Traffic Skills Assessment used to be 85% to be considered well-qualified ... but, he claims, under Buttigieg, that number was changed to 80% -- a seemingly small statistical difference that Duffy says has a huge impact.

Passengers on a Friday flight from Burbank to Las Vegas say their pilot had to dive aggressively to avoid a midair collision shortly after takeoff ... sending passengers flying out of their seats, with some bumping their heads on the cabin ceiling.

Comedian Jimmy Dore was on the flight and he says the pilot came on the PA system and told passengers his collision warning alert went off and he needed to avoid a plane coming at them.

The preliminary report into a fatal Air India plane crash is in ... and it says fuel to the jet engines was shut off shortly after takeoff.

Flight AI171 was flying from Ahmedabad, India, to London when it crashed moments after getting off the ground ... killing at least 270 people in an incident that was captured on camera.

In a Friday news dump, the report states the plane's fuel switches for both jet engines went from the "RUN" position to the "CUTOFF" position within a matter of seconds ... one after the other ... cutting off the fuel supply to both engines.

A skydiving plane carrying 15 people on board veered off the end of a runway and crashed into a wooded area in New Jersey -- leaving multiple people injured.

According to the Federal Aviation Administration, at least 5 of the 15 passengers on board the Cessna 208B were taken to the hospital with injuries. The Gloucester County Office of Emergency Management referred to the crash as a "mass casualty incident" on their Facebook.

The National Transportation Safety Board's report for the incident said when the pilot was returning from her fifth skydive of the day, the aircraft went off the runway during landing.

According to the NTSB report, the flare seemed insufficient, the nose landing gear collapsed and the airplane took on substantial damage to the engine mounts.

CBS News reports the airplane was involved in an incident in July 2023 in Suffolk, Virginia.

The FAA is on scene investigating the crash.
