Weezer bass player Scott Shriner's wife is getting lots of attention for being shot by LAPD officers and getting booked for attempted murder ... but before she got famous for being shot by cops, she shot an episode for Zak Bagans' TV show.

Production sources tell TMZ ... Jillian Lauren Shriner filmed an episode of "Ghost Adventures" back in November at Zak's Haunted Museum in Las Vegas.

We're told the episode was all about serial killer Samuel Little ... Jillian's an expert on the guy because she once wrote a book about him.

Tyreek Hill's wife's mom dialed 911 on Monday to report the domestic dispute involving the NFL superstar and her daughter ... and in audio of the call, she can be heard telling dispatch she's "so scared."

Alesia Vaccaro placed the call at around 2 PM, according to a Sunny Isles Police Department incident report ... after Hill had gotten irritated with his partner, Keeta, inside their 35th-floor residence over a comment she had made about his parenting ability.

In the call -- which was first obtained by Andy Slater -- Alesia can be heard seemingly arguing with Hill and Keeta ... before turning her attention toward the dispatcher and saying, "they're blaming me for calling the police."

Weezer bassist Scott Shriner isn't offering much in the way of details about the incident involving his wife getting shot by the cops this week ... other than to cheerfully say she's "all right."

Our photog caught up with Scott as he walked his four dogs in their L.A. neighborhood Thursday, two days after his wife, Jillian Lauren Shriner, was injured in a police shooting and later booked for attempted murder -- for allegedly pointing a gun at cops and pulling the trigger.

Asked how Jillian is doing, Scott said ... "She's all right. Thank you for asking." Is he upset by the way the police handled the situation? "I can't comment on that."

3 PM PT -- Los Angeles Police Dept. Spokesperson Jennifer Forkish tells TMZ ... "Our investigation revealed evidence such as a shell casing and video footage showing she repeatedly ignored police commands to disarm and that she fired her weapon at LAPD officers. She was subsequently booked for attempted murder of a peace officer."

We're learning more about the police-shooting incident involving Jillian Lauren Shriner, wife of Weezer bassist Scott Shriner, in L.A. this week ... and she's been released on $1 million bond after allegedly firing a single shot and being booked for attempted murder.

TMZ also obtained police-scanner audio, which provides new insight into Tuesday's crazy shootout between Jillian and the LAPD.

As you can hear, officers on the ground and helicopters flying overhead coordinate a response to search for a male suspect ... who apparently stripped down to his boxers and dove into a pool in an attempt to throw off the chase.

Jillian was shot by police when she emerged from her house with a gun in her hand as the male suspect prowled her next-door neighbor's backyard, where the pool was located.

Superstar rapper Nicki Minaj is the latest high-profile target of a "swatting" call this week ... as law enforcement personnel swarmed her L.A.-area property Wednesday night responding to a report of a shooting at her house.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... shortly after 7 PM yesterday, the L.A. County Sheriff's Dept. received a call reporting an assault at a residence in Hidden Hills, where Nicki lives.

Deputies rushed to the scene ... where they found no one at home, and no issues in the area.

Tyreek Hill and his estranged wife, Keeta Hill, were captured on video during their alleged domestic dispute earlier this week.

The footage, obtained by WPLG Local 10, shows the Hills on the balcony of their 35th-floor residence on Monday afternoon ... as they allegedly quarreled over a comment Keeta had made about Tyreek's parenting efforts.

In the clip, you can see Keeta look down on the street below their Sunny Isles Beach, Fla. home ... before Tyreek -- with the couple's baby in his arms -- does the same.

The wife of Weezer bassist Scott Shriner was shot by cops during a wild chase in L.A., TMZ has learned ... and then she was booked for attempted murder.

California Highway Patrol and LAPD officers responded to a hit-and-run Tuesday afternoon on a freeway winding through the Eagle Rock neighborhood of Los Angeles. Three unidentified suspects fled the scene on foot -- one bailed out of his vehicle, climbed over a freeway embankment and ended up on a residential street.

The suspect stripped off some of his clothing, trying to blend into the neighborhood -- it didn't work.

Outrage is brewing over a police shooting in Idaho ... video shows a group of officers shooting a teen armed with a knife, but the boy's family says he's nonverbal, autistic and suffers from cerebral palsy.

The incident happened in Pocatello ... with cops shooting 17-year-old Victor Perez 9 times in the yard outside his home, leaving him in critical condition ... according to the Associated Press, which also reports Perez had to have a leg amputated.

Video of the Saturday shooting went viral ... sparking protests outside Pocatello PD. Folks say they're questioning why the 4 officers who responded to the scene appeared to be trigger-happy and didn't make much of an effort to de-escalate the situation before unleashing a hail of bullets.

Tyreek Hill's wife, Keeta Hill, has filed for divorce from the NFL superstar ... one day after cops were called over a domestic dispute at their Miami-area home.

According to a Sunny Isles Beach Police Department incident report, obtained by TMZ Sports, cops say Keeta's mother, Alesia Vaccaro, told them she had called for emergency services Monday after she saw Tyreek throw a computer to the floor ... and then grab the couple's baby daughter.

Officers on the scene stated Keeta told them she and Tyreek had been arguing frequently lately, and Monday's quarrel was sparked by a comment that "he was not involved enough with their daughter."

Gary Michael Hilton is one of the oldest living serial killers in the country ... and now he's confessing for the first time to the murder that landed him on Death Row in Florida.

The 78-year-old Hilton -- AKA The National Forest Serial Killer -- sat down with Court TV's investigative reporter David Scott -- and TMZ has obtained an exclusive clip of their recent face-to-face interview ... and it's pretty damn wild!

But first, just to recap ... Hilton was convicted of killing four people during his monstrous 2007-2008 spree in three states: Florida, North Carolina and Georgia. He committed the murders in national parks and confessed to three of them, but he never copped to the fourth -- a nurse named Cheryl Dunlap, who was killed in 2007 in Leon County, Florida. That is, until now.

Two security guards have been busted and slapped with felony battery charges after a wild, caught-on-camera beatdown of a guy at an Indiana bar -- and the footage is brutal.

The distressing video allegedly shows security guards Sean Shell and Johnathon Turner going off on Shane Hendrix ... kicking, punching, and dragging him across the floor at Chaser's Bar & Grill in Evansville -- all after he was accused of a confrontation with a bartender over an unpaid tab.

She told cops the guy followed through last Thursday when he showed up at Tania's Los Angeles area home and knocked on the door. She told them he was an older man over 50 years old.

The Tate brothers' legal issues in the U.S. are piling up -- federal prosecutors are now investigating them ... according to an attorney involved in a civil suit with them.

UFC's Henry Cejudo is a great fighter ... and he is also a great neighbor 'cause he recently helped stop a hit-and-run suspect in his hood.

Here's the deal ... a speeding car crashed into the house right next door to Henry's in Phoenix last night -- and the visuals are wild!

The UFC star gave an interview shortly afterward ... and he said the driver of the car was going to book it after the crash and his neighbor tried to stop him, which is when the dude punched the neighbor.

Two boaters got into a heated altercation while out on Florida waters earlier this week ... and the confrontation got so intense, cops say they're now investigating the matter.

The incident happened on Tuesday ... when Gage Towles, a fisherman, was approached by Brock Horner, a clearly ticked-off, self-proclaimed charter captain.

In video Towles shared on his YouTube page, you can see Horner appeared upset with Towles over the way he and a few others had interacted with him as he passed underneath the bridge a few days prior.
