Ellen Hughes -- Team USA women's hockey player development consultant and Jack and Quinn's mom -- is giving her take on President Trump's locker room joke following Sunday's gold medal game ... saying what really matters to both squads is "unity."

Hughes -- a former member of the women's national hockey team herself -- was asked about POTUS' controversial comments to the men's team on Tuesday's episode of "Today" ... and while there are plenty of social media users pissed about the phone call, Hughes thinks the recent success of both organizations can bring folks together.

"At the end of the day, it's just about the country," Hughes said, "and the moment that these players, both the men and women, can bring so much unity to a group and to a country."

Nicki Minaj has been using her voice to prop up the MAGA movement ... but a new study finds that her platforms have been reportedly boosted by an coordinated army of more than 18,000 bots.

Politico shared the report, which was compiled by the disinformation detection company Cyabra ... in it, analysis of Nicki's social media activity from November 11 to December 28 found that thousands of fake accounts used similar language to praise Nicki's posts and attack authentic accounts who were critical of Nicki.

According to Cyabra, there was one day in December where 56 percent of all comments on Nicki's political posts were fake.

The armed man shot and killed by Secret Service agents outside President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago property Sunday had grown increasingly obsessed with the Epstein files and was also a vocal supporter of Trump … TMZ has learned.

Austin Tucker Martin sent a text message, obtained by TMZ, to a co-worker on February 15, 2026, that read, "I don't know if you read up on the Epstein Files, but evil is real and unmistakable." He continued, "The best people like you and I can do is use what little influence we have. Tell other people about what you hear about the Epstein files and what the government is doing about it. Raise awareness."

Sources who worked with Austin at Pine Needles Lodge & Golf Club in North Carolina tell TMZ ... he became fixated on Epstein following the latest release of information tied to the files. Co-workers tell us he was deeply disturbed by what he believed was a government cover-up and often talked about powerful people "getting away with it."

Here's the deal ... somebody called into C-Span Friday under the name John Barron -- sounding exactly like Trump -- and it's splitting people into 2 camps ... those who think it's clearly an impersonator, and people who think this is exactly the kind of thing our president would do.

President Donald Trump Man Shot and Killed at Mar-a-Lago

9:22 AM PT -- Authorities have identified the Mar-a-Lago man who was shot and killed by Secret Service as 21-year-old North Carolina resident Austin Tucker Martin.

A man in his early 20s was shot and killed by U.S. Secret Service agents after breaching the secure perimeter at President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago property early Sunday morning.

The U.S. Secret Service says the incident unfolded around 1:30 AM near the north gate of the Palm Beach estate.

According to officials, the man was observed near the property carrying what appeared to be a shotgun and a fuel can. Secret Service agents, along with a deputy from the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, confronted him and shots were fired during the encounter.

The President was not at Mar-a-Lago when the incident occurred. He's currently in Washington, D.C.

Trump was asked about Andrew's Thursday arrest during a scrum with reporters on Air Force One and said he thinks "it's a shame."

POTUS went on to say the whole situation was "very sad" and "so bad" for the Royals.

The report -- several of the millions of Epstein document pages released by Trump's Department of Justice in recent weeks -- lays out the Palm Beach Police Department's investigation into the financier during the early 2000s.

While the document is heavily redacted, it's a 2019 interview with former Palm Beach Police Chief Michael Reiter, who confirmed as much to the Miami Herald.

The post continued ... "Only she can provide the complete account. Some may not like what they hear, but the truth matters. For example, both President Trump and President Clinton are innocent of any wrongdoing. Ms. Maxwell alone can explain why, and the public is entitled to that explanation."

2/9/26 7:25 AM PT -- Ghislaine Maxwell did exactly what Ro Khanna said she would ... pleading the Fifth Amendment during Monday's deposition in front of the House Oversight Committee.

Ghislaine Maxwell plans to take the Fifth on all questions related to President Trump's association with Jeffrey Epstein during her high-stakes deposition Monday in front of Congress.

Ro Khanna (D-CA) fired off a letter to House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY), saying that Maxwell intends to invoke her Fifth Amendment right not to incriminate herself when she's asked about the Trump-Epstein connection.

Ro even provided a road map on the questions he's going to ask Ghislaine about Trump's "well-documented" social relationship with Epstein. He says he wants to know if Epstein arranged or facilitated access to underage girls for Trump.
