Trump started the holiday Monday with a Truth Social post blasting "Dumocrats, RINOS, and Fools" criticizing his administration's ongoing negotiations with Iran.

The gunman who allegedly fired shots outside the White House on Saturday has died ... according to a statement from the United States Secret Service.

The Chief of Communications for the United States Secret Service, Anthony Guglielmi, tells TMZ ... shortly after 6 PM ET an individual on 17th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue -- very close to the White House -- "pulled a weapon from his bag and began firing."

Secret Service returned fire, Guglielmi says ... striking the suspect who was taken to a hospital where the suspect died. A bystander was also struck during the shooting. Officers did not sustain injuries during the shooting.

President Trump’s oldest grandchild, Kai Trump, is getting exactly what she pleaded for in court -- protection from an alleged stalker, who's been ordered to stay away from her ... TMZ has learned.

TMZ obtained the petition 19-year-old Kai filed in Palm Beach County Court, against a 26-year-old man named Gabriel Garza Jr.

A judge granted Kai -- Don Jr. and Vanessa Trump's first born -- a temporary restraining order in April, which restricts Gabriel from stalking, cyberstalking, or committing any criminal offense resulting in physical injury or death.

Michael Wolff tried pulling a legal fast one on Melania Trump ... at least according to the federal judge who just tossed his case.

Wolff -- the longtime Trump biographer behind books like "Fire and Fury" -- sued after Melania's lawyers threatened him with a $1 Billion defamation lawsuit tied to comments he made linking her to late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

But on Friday, a federal judge completely shut down Wolff’s lawsuit ... accusing him of "gamesmanship," "forum-shopping,” and abusing the judgment process by trying to beat Melania to the courthouse before she could sue him herself.

Donald Trump owes his son, Don Jr., and his bride, Bettina Anderson, a great gift ... because he's officially skipping their wedding down in The Bahamas.

POTUS announced the news on Truth Social Friday afternoon ... telling his followers he would love to be in attendance -- but it's just not a good time for him right now.

He adds it is "important for me to remain in Washington, D.C., at the White House" during this time ... but he's wishing them all the best.
