A central figure in Netflix's "A Toxic Love Story" told a federal judge Ian Diaz was still "a good man, with an even greater heart" after his conviction ... and revealed she had been barred from contacting him for nearly two years ... TMZ has learned.

In an April 2023 letter obtained by TMZ, Leslie Carlson said bond restrictions cut her off from Ian, his son and his immediate family, calling the separation "devastatingly difficult." The letter was filed with his sentencing materials.

Leslie said she had known Ian for 23 years and considered him one of her closest friends and confidants.

Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth's decades-long friendship is all but buried right now ... TMZ has learned.

Sources familiar with the situation tell us the two former '90210' stars -- who've been tied at the hip since their days on the show back in the '90s -- have seriously grown apart in recent months ... and some even feel like their bond is completely broken at this point.

A source close to the two tells TMZ ... "Jennie is not a friend to Tori. Tori introduced her to every connection she has and then she bailed on Tori and told her she was bad for her brand because of all the negative press about her."

Adam22 and Lena the Plug have more fake legal filings to navigate ... because the mystery man who filed a fake divorce on Lena's behalf has also filed for a fake restraining order. 

TMZ obtained a restraining order petition filed on July 23 in Los Angeles Court by someone claiming to be Lena. The petition asked for a temporary order barring Adam22 from coming near Lena … claiming Adam22 has her perform sex acts with men outside of their marriage for money. 

The fake petition asked that Adam22 be forced to surrender all of Lena's social media accounts, including his wife's OnlyFans accounts. The court actually granted the fake restraining order for the fake Lena. 

Brittney Griner has filed for divorce from her wife, Cherelle -- the woman who stood by her when she was locked up in Russia -- after eight years of marriage.

The WNBA star filed the divorce petition Thursday ... and lists July 24 as the date of separation. She says their marriage is "irretrievably broken."

Brittney and Cherelle -- who share one child together -- tied the knot back in June of 2018 ... and remained together during the 10 months Brittney spent in a Russian prison.
