Alex Foster Baylor Football Player Dead At 18

Baylor Bears defensive lineman Alex Foster has died at 18 years old, the university announced Wednesday.

The school did not reveal the teen's cause of death ... but head football coach Dave Aranda and athletic director Mack Rhoades said in a joint statement the passing was "unexpected."

Multiple outlets reported Foster died from gunshot wounds he sustained during an incident in Greenville, Mississippi early Wednesday morning.

Jim Irsay Colts Announce Memorial Plans

Late Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay will be honored with a private ceremony next week, the team announced Wednesday.

The NFL franchise revealed two events will be held to remember the 65-year-old -- one for his closest family members and friends ... and another for the public, which will be held at a later date.

The private memorial will take place on June 2, the Colts said ... although the location was not disclosed.

Sources connected to the show tell us cameras were not rolling when Phil died over the weekend ... and the production crew has no plans to rush back to capture the Robertson family mourning to refashion the debut of "Duck Dynasty: The Revival."

We're told Phil's passing will be addressed in the second season ... staying true to the show's commitment to authenticity and reflecting the events of the Robertson clan. The family has always been about showing a genuine portrayal of their lives -- and that meant not forcing the news into a completed season.

Guitar icon and legendary performer Rick Derringer died on Memorial Day -- and it's because his heart suddenly gave out, TMZ has learned.

Rick's longtime wife Jenda Derringer tells TMZ he died "peacefully" after being taken off life support Monday night following a medical episode.

His caretaker and close friend, Tony Wilson, tells us he had a triple bypass just two months ago but was doing well. He adds RD seemed totally fine over the weekend -- but on Monday night, as he was getting ready for bed and reaching for his favorite pillow, he went into what he described as some sort of shock and later died at the hospital in Ormond Beach, Florida.

"Duck Dynasty" patriarch Phil Robertson is dead ... according to his daughter-in-law.

Korie Robertson -- Phil's son Willie's wife of more than 30 years -- posted the news to Facebook Sunday ... saying Phil was a man of God, who always tried to remind people that death only meant returning to God's kingdom.

She thanked fans for their thoughtful prayers ... and, she promises the family will continue to honor him and his legacy.

Julian Fleming, a former Penn State wide receiver, is in serious condition and his girlfriend is dead following a horrific ATV crash in Pennsylvania ahead of the weekend.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, the incident occurred on Friday when 24-year-old Fleming was driving his ATV on a rural road when a deer jumped out in front of him, causing a collision. The impact sent Fleming and his girlfriend, 23-year-old Alyssa Boyd, flying off the ATV.

Police say neither was wearing safety equipment while riding on the four-wheeler. Boyd was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Fleming was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

Virginia Giuffre cremated, laid to rest in private ceremony

Virginia Giuffre, who publicly accused convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and Prince Andrew of sexual abuse, was laid to rest weeks after taking her own life.

The 41-year-old was reportedly cremated and laid to rest in a private ceremony north of Perth, Australia a few days ago.

Her burial comes just a month after she died by suicide at the end of April. At the time, the Western Australia Police Force told us officers responded to a call for an unresponsive woman at a residence. Emergency first-aid was provided, but she could not be revived. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

"Rust" armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, who was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, has been released from prison.

Hannah was serving 18 months after being convicted by a New Mexico jury ... and the state's Department of Corrections tells us she was let out of prison on Friday morning.

Authorities tell TMZ ... HGR will be on parole for one year as part of her "Rust" sentence and she has 18 months of probation on a separate firearms charge.

San Diego Plane Crash Christian Metal Band's Drummer Killed, Family Says

The former drummer for the metal-core band The Devil Wears Prada was killed in a plane crash early Thursday morning in San Diego, TMZ has learned from his family.

Larry Williams tells TMZ ... his son, Daniel, was among the victims of the Cessna crash around 4 AM, which set part of a residential neighborhood of U.S. Navy-owned housing on fire. Several people on the ground were hurt in the fire and one home was destroyed.

Larry tells us the family is confident he was on the plane and they know there were no survivors -- but they have yet to get an official confirmation from authorities, which is making the entire situation even worse.

Two Israeli Embassy workers were shot to death Wednesday by a gunman at the Jewish Museum in Washington D.C. — and the arrest of the suspect was caught on dramatic video.

Check it out ... The alleged shooter — identified as Elias Rodriguez from Chicago, Illinois — is grabbed by a couple of cops inside a building on Wednesday night.

One of the officers slaps the cuffs on Elias, who starts screaming, "Free free Palestine." Both officers then escort him through an exit door as witnesses stare in shock, with one horrified woman seen covering her mouth.

Family sources tell TMZ ... he died early Tuesday morning, passing peacefully in his sleep at his home.
