The Canadian megastar read the room and opened his show Wednesday inside Birmingham's Utilita Arena with the sounds of Black Sabbath's iconic "Iron Man" jam blaring through the speakers.

Drake was also among the mourners visiting Black Sabbath Bridge ... which flooded with treasure troves after Ozzy's death went public -- and he didn't come ill-prepared.

Malcolm-Jamal Warner's body will soon return to Los Angeles after his body was released to his family following the completion of an autopsy … TMZ has learned.

Sources with direct knowledge tell us the actor's remains were turned over by the Judicial Morgue on Wednesday morning, following the completion of his autopsy. We're told Warner's body is scheduled to leave Costa Rica on Thursday and will arrive in Los Angeles on Friday morning.

We are told the U.S. Embassy is working with the family on returning the body to the United States.

Dr. Salvador Plasencia just pled guilty to 4 counts of distributing ketamine in front of Judge Sherilyn Peace Garnett in L.A. federal court Wednesday -- Plasencia is the fourth of five people charged in the "Friends" star's tragic 2023 death.

Plasencia is now staring down a max of 10 years per count in federal prison when he’s sentenced on December 3.

In a statement to TMZ, the Osbourne family says Ozzy died Tuesday "surrounded by love." The cause of death is unclear.

The Osbournes say ... "It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning."

Ozzy's family continues ... "He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time."

Black Sabbath swiftly shared a recent performance pic of the rocker smiling on stage ...  remembering him by simply writing "Ozzy Forever." As you know, he became a founding member of the heavy metal band in 1967 but was canned in 1979 due to his substance abuse issues ... though later returned to perform with the band off and on for several years beginning in 1997.
