Taylor Swift is tipping her hat to the late, great George Michael on her upcoming album "The Life of a Showgirl" with a track called "Father Figure" -- and the icon’s former partner says George would’ve totally approved of it.

Kenny Goss -- George’s partner of 13 years -- tells TMZ George would be proud of the tribute, which isn't a straight sample, but an interpolation ... meaning you’ll hear the melody of his '87 classic woven into Taylor’s track.

Kenny tells us George never met Taylor, but he’s pretty sure the icon would’ve been a fan -- and would’ve appreciated someone of her caliber taking an interest in his work.

Jeff Bezos is facing heartbreak -- his mother, Jacklyn "Jackie" Bezos, has died at 78.

The Bezos Family Foundation announced the sad news Thursday, sharing a photo of Jackie along with a lengthy tribute, saying she died peacefully at her Miami home -- and while the cause of death hasn’t been revealed, the Foundation noted she was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia in 2020.

Brandon Blackstock’s death certificate is revealing more about his passing from melanoma -- showing that seizures played a major role in his death.

According to the death certificate from the Butte-Silver Bow County Clerk and Recorder’s Office in Montana, first obtained by People -- Brandon died at 11:13 AM on August 7 -- with seizures listed as a "significant condition contributing to death but not resulting in the underlying cause."

The death certificate reveals no autopsy was performed, and Brandon was cremated.

Kelly Clarkson is canceling another show ... this time the singer is backing out of the Band Together Texas concert after the death of her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock.

Clarkson's announcement did not come from her or her team ... rather, the event organizers posted the news Tuesday on Instagram Stories, saying Kelly will be unable to appear for her August 17 show at the fundraiser, which is helping raise money for people impacted by the Texas floods in July.

The statement notes Kelly will be MIA due to "personal circumstances," and sends well wishes to her and her family.

Priscilla Presley's lawyer is firing back at the former business partners suing her and alleging she let Lisa Marie Presley die so she could take control of Graceland ... telling us their lawsuit is one of the most shameful, ridiculous, salacious and meritless things he's ever seen.

Priscilla's attorney, Marty Singer, tells TMZ ... the lawsuit against Elvis Presley's ex-wife is "nothing more than a sad and vicious attempt to falsely tarnish the reputation of an eighty-year-old woman."

Elvis' ex-wife is being sued by her former business partners, and in the $50 million lawsuit, they lay out serious allegations -- claiming "Priscilla pulled the plug within hours of Lisa being admitted" in January 2023 after suffering cardiac arrest.

Lorna Raver -- best known as the creepy old woman who cursed Alison Lohman in Sam Raimi's horror hit "Drag Me to Hell" -- has died.

Raver died on May 12 ... her death was announced in the "In Memoriam" section of SAG-AFTRA's Summer 2025 magazine.

Her loving agent Michael Greene remembers her as a "beautiful lady" who will shine down on all from Heaven.

Greene also reflected on her iconic role in "Drag Me to Hell" ... telling TMZ Raver was up for the part alongside his other client, Anna Berger. He says Raver ended up landing the role because she was able to fly around in the harness needed for special effects with ease.

Kelly Clarkson's ex-husband Brandon Blackstock was in a relationship when he died of melanoma ... and she's a former assistant to Kelly.

According to his obituary ... Blackstock was living with Brittney Marie Jones in Montana -- a "loving partner" who was with him until his untimely death. A source with knowledge confirmed to TMZ ... Brittney was a production assistant for Kelly from 2016 to 2020.

According to her LinkedIn she was then Blackstock's executive assistant while he was the artist manager of Starstruck Entertainment -- before he rebranded the company to V Bar V Cattle Co., after the couple's divorce.

TMZ reported last week Brandon sadly lost his battle with melanoma, after a three-and-a-half-year fight, at just 48.

Brooke Hogan’s feeling the weight of losing her dad, Hulk -- spotted out with family in Orlando, and you can see the heartbreak written all over her face.

As you can see, Brooke kept it low-key on a Tuesday stroll in Orlando -- but the grief snuck up, and tears followed.

T-Hood's death is being investigated as a potential self-defense shooting, Gwinnett County police say.

After police confirmed the identity of the suspect in the Atlanta rapper's shooting death as the son of "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" stars Kirk and Rasheeda Frost ... they're now looking into the possibility he acted in self-defense following a domestic dispute.

Law enforcement says ... their ongoing investigation indicates a "domestic disturbance" occurred at the location of the shooting -- a residence in unincorporated Snellville, Georgia. A female victim sustained physical injuries during the dispute.

Darcy Connolly-Brunner -- the mother of former WNBA and Arizona State basketball player Sophie Brunner -- was tragically killed in a head-on collision in Illinois. She was 61 years old.

Reba McEntire is breaking her silence after the heartbreaking loss of her stepson, Brandon Blackstock -- who died last week following a years-long battle with melanoma.

The country music legend commented on her son Shelby's emotional Instagram post, writing, "Very well said Shelby. Yes we will miss him so much 💔💔🙏💔❤️❤️❤️🙏💔."

In the tribute, Shelby -- Reba's son with ex-husband Narvel Blackstock -- shared the family's grief, writing, "Words cannot begin to capture the tremendous loss our family has endured.
