Fans of the new Netflix doc about serial killer Aileen Wuornos now have a chance to walk in her shoes -- literally ... her personal items are coming up for auction.

From the signed L.A. Gear sneakers she was arrested in, to her crucifix necklace she wore during her execution ... they will all be for sale on the True Crime Collective website this week.

Aileen famously murdered 6 men from 1989 to 1990 by shooting them at point-blank range. As depicted in 2003's Charlize Theron-led biopic "Monster," and the new Netflix documentary "Aileen: Queen of the Serial Killers" ... Aileen was convicted and sentenced to death for the murders. She was executed by lethal injection in October 2002 in Florida.

Jake Haro -- the man who pleaded guilty to killing his 7-month-old son, Emmanuel Haro -- was sentenced to 25 years to life in state prison Monday.

Last month, Jake pleaded guilty to second-degree murder -- an unlawful killing with "malice aforethought" -- as well as child endangerment and filing a false police report.

Emmanuel's mother, Rebecca Haro, separately pleaded not guilty to the same charge.

"Ghost Adventures" star Aaron Goodwin learned his wife was trying to make him a ghost while shooting the show ... and the clip airs on today's episode.

It all went down while the 'GA' squad was filming a lockdown investigation for the show. That's when cops contacted Aaron to inform him his wife, Victoria, had been arrested in connection with an alleged murder-for-hire plot to have him killed.

The Louvre Heist Museum Director Offered Resignation, Got Declined

Laurence des Cars -- the director of Paris' famed Louvre Museum -- revealed she offered to step down following Sunday's shocking heist ... but her offer was denied.

In a press conference Wednesday, des Cars told the French Senate, "I presented my resignation to the Minister of Culture, in responsibility. She refused it."

Des Cars offered her resignation Sunday night, after that morning's burglary. The "responsibility" des Cars referred to was what she considered security flaws that may have allowed for the daylight robbery. Those failures included a catastrophic shortage of cameras outside the monument.

Dramatizations of infamous serial killers use real pain to make a quick buck, and "Monster: The Ed Gein Story" is just the latest show to do it ... so says a prominent filmmaker with a connection to the series.

We spoke to Osgood Perkins -- son of the legendary actor and star of "Psycho," Anthony Perkins -- about the new series ... because his dad plays a prominent role in at least one episode.

If you haven't seen the show, or know about the story, then spoiler alert ... Ed Gein's a vicious real-life killer and necrophiliac whom Robert Bloch -- the writer of the novel "Psycho" -- loosely based his main character, Norman Bates, on. Perkins played the character in the Alfred Hitchcock film classic.

The private investigator hired to probe Celeste Rivas' death case has made a harrowing revelation -- he thinks there was a "sadistic" plan made to "get rid" of the teen.

Check out Steve Fischer's interview on "Law&Crime Sidebar with Jesse Weber" -- he says the purported "scary" plan didn't have to do with how she died, but how her body was to be dumped following her death.

He says he can't spill much ... but thinks the original plan went wrong at some point, and that the Tesla where her dismembered corpse was found in early September was supposed to be a holding spot.

Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman isn't answering questions about the D4vd-Celeste Rivas investigation yet because he says the case hasn't been turned over to his office.

Our photog asked Nathan for an update Wednesday at a press conference about an unrelated case ... and all Hochman said was it's a "continuing investigation."

The county's top prosecutor also wouldn't get into possible suspects -- such as D4vd, or anyone else -- when our photog brought up the singer.

Bryan Kohberger Took Plea Deal Days After Sister Added to Witness List

Bryan Kohberger abruptly agreed to a plea deal -- essentially ending his murder case before trial -- just days after his sister was added as a witness ... TMZ has learned.

According to documents obtained by TMZ, Kohberger's sister, Amanda, was included on the prosecutor's witness list ... which could have meant the confessed killer would have had to face off against her in court, but he dodged that possibility. Amanda was the only immediate family member on the list.

Kohberger had reportedly been charged with misdemeanor theft for allegedly stealing her cell phone in 2014.

D4vd Rental Home Owner Hires Private Investigator ... No Answers From LAPD

The owner of the Hollywood Hills home D4vd was renting has hired a private eye to get to the bottom of what happened inside the house ... because LAPD has not publicly released any answers 6 whole weeks after Celeste Rivas' decomposing body was found in D4vd's Tesla.

Mladen Trifunovic owns the home D4vd's manager was renting -- the place has been searched by cops as part of the Celeste death investigation -- and he says a P.I. is now involved.

I've carried with me this enormous sense of guilt -- guilt that doing this job that I love so much has put our children's lives at risk." He went on to urge that as political violence rises in this country, it's important that none of us grows numb to it. "We need real accountability for acts of political violence, and today is real accountability."

The man who set the Pennsylvania Governor's Mansion ablaze in April pleaded guilty today to arson and other charges ... and new video released shows the crime -- and inferno -- in progress.

Watch the video ... you can see Cody Balmer break a window of Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro's home from the outside, light a Molotov cocktail, and toss it in, starting a blaze.

Balmer, a mechanic, enters the residence through another broken window ... you can see him roaming around inside the home trying to enter various rooms by kicking the doors in. When that fails, he just starts throwing down more explosives in what appears to be the dining room ... before casually exiting through a front door and strolling away across the lawn.
