Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ Sports .... the world's richest man plans to attend the historic event on the White House South Lawn on Sunday, when the UFC stages one of the most unique fight cards in company history.

Our sources tell us Elon and President Donald Trump have patched things up following their highly publicized falling-out earlier this year ... and we're told the two reconciled during a trip to China in May after months of tension.

The UFC has infiltrated the FBI headquarters ... with fighters like Justin Gaethje using the agency's digs to prepare for Sunday night's Freedom 250 card at the White House.

The Highlight's setup was put on display in the promotion's new "Embedded" vlog that dropped on Wednesday ... when he casually said the FBI opened its doors to him ahead of his title fight with Ilia Topuria.

Gaethje said the makeshift gym has everything he needs to train -- mats and bags -- but it's gotta be extra cool rolling around on top of the FBI seal.

President Trump's administration says it won't tap out on UFC Freedom 250 -- the cage match set to take place on the White House lawn this weekend -- insisting a lawsuit seeking to block the event came in way too late to stop the fight.

Here's the deal ... earlier this week, two Virginia residents filed a lawsuit against the National Park Service and the Department of the Interior, hoping to get a judge to put the event in a chokehold and force a submission ... calling UFC Freedom 250 "deeply corrupt."

Now, the Trump administration has filed its response, which is mainly focused on timing ... pointing out the fight's been in the works for about a year and the plaintiffs waited until the last minute to file.

Justin Gaethje's a big underdog against Ilia Topuria at The White House ... so, what does the MMA star have to do to pull off the big upset?? Team USA hockey legend Mike Eruzione is sharing a few words of wisdom.

It all started when TMZ Sports talked to 37-year-old Gaethje last week, and he told us he was gunning to bring "Miracle on Ice" energy to his Freedom 250 fight against Topuria, who is a substantial betting favorite.

Josh Hokit's fighting Derrick Lewis at the White House in just a few days, but you wouldn't know it listening to the up-and-coming UFC heavyweight ... who stayed mocking Alex Pereira during a recent, albeit brief, conversation with TMZ Sports!

"Chama," the 28-year-old said when Babcock spoke to the 28-year-old fighter earlier this week ... using a faux-translator to seemingly jab Pereira.

The UFC's iconic Octagon Girls are getting a new look ahead of the White House card -- their Freedom 250 outfits were revealed on Monday ... and they're patriotic from head to toe!!

The full attire lineup features plenty of Red, White and Blue options ... some similar to what Wonder Woman would wear, while others are more formal with flowy stars and stripes patterns, as if Betsy Ross herself stitched them together.

Red Dela Cruz and Chrissy Blair modeled all the 'fits ... which will be worn during the ceremonial weigh-ins and actual fight night on the White House South Lawn, where four different sets of threads will be put on display for all in attendance and watching from home.

President Trump's plan to host a UFC fight card at the White House is getting hit with a legal haymaker ... because a new federal lawsuit is trying to stop the event before anyone steps into the Octagon.

According to court documents, obtained by TMZ, two Virginia residents are suing the National Park Service and the Department of the Interior over "UFC Freedom 250" -- the June 14 event slated for the White House South Lawn.

The plaintiffs claim the card is less about celebrating America's 250th birthday and more about giving some of Trump's closest allies -- including UFC boss Dana White -- a massive platform at some of the country's most iconic landmarks as The Lincoln Memorial is scheduled to host ceremonial weigh-ins for fighters before the event.

UFC fighter Sean Strickland is clearly not over Dylan Mulvaney's Bud Light sponsorship three years later ... 'cause he just posted a fake ad featuring himself beating up a trans woman to celebrate Pride Month being "far less gay" now.

The incredibly controversial middleweight champ shared the edited video on social media Tuesday ... showing him punching and kicking an opponent in a pink dress until a referee steps in and calls the match.

The clip then cuts to the end of a Bud Light ad ... which states it's the "official beer sponsor of UFC."

Justin Gaethje has some things in common with the 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team -- he's a huge underdog like the boys were in Lake Placid -- and he's gunning to replicate that American Pride with his main event fight against Ilia Topuria at the White House!

The biggest progress appears to be with the star-spangled arch that will stretch over the octagon fight cage ... the arch has the red, white and blue colorway and tons of lighting effects in place.

Conor McGregor is now the owner of one of the most insane pieces of military memorabilia ... Rob O'Neill -- the SEAL Team 6 operator who killed Osama bin Laden -- gifted the UFC superstar one of the gloves he wore during the historic 2011 mission.

O'Neill and McGregor sat down for a chat -- promoting Conor's new energy drink, MAC Energy -- when the retired Tier 1 operator busted out the glove and handed it to the former champ-champ.

"That's a used glove?" McGregor asked ... "These are the gloves that was used on the mission to take down Osama bin Laden?"
