Red Carpet No-No Alert
Pink and Shakira just showed up to the VMAs wearing the EXACT same dress. Someone's stylist is getting fired!
The question is ...
Janet Jackson -- If the Glove Fits
Janet Jackson has been busting her butt rehearsing for a Michael Jackson tribute at the MTV Video Awards this weekend -- and it promises to be a nipple-free affair. We think.
Ms. Jackson is set to put on a huge MJ-honoring performance featuring 20 backup dancers -- which is being put together by some of the best choreographers in the world, including Frank Gatson and Travis Payne.
According to one of the dancers involved, some rehearsals have lasted 15 hours a day.
Once Janet is finished honoring her brother, we're told, "there won't be a dry eye in the house."

Brand Blasted for Cherry Pickin'
The Jonas Brothers all wear purity rings -- but VMA host Russell Brand got in some serious hot water with his extremely impure jokes about the Disney virgins.
Humorless "Idol" champ Jordin Sparks ('memba her!?) defended the boys after Brand bragged he'd bag 'em all by the end of the night. Hope he stayed away from Nick -- that kid's only 15!
Stars: I Want My Myoplex at the VMAs!
Celebs gotta have what they need -- and it includes everything from protein powder to fried chicken to Captain Morgan! Gimme some o' dat! In Touch Weekly got the scoop on the stuff the talent need in their dressing rooms, so here's a gallery of VMA celebs -- and the goodies they insist on backstage to keep 'em happy!
More on Jess' Tresses!
Who does Jessica Alba's hair? It's great!
You're right, Tiffany, Jessica Alba does have some lovely lady locks. And all thanks to her stylist Robert Ramos, the co-owner of the Hollywood based Estilo Salon.
Want your hair to shine like Jessica's? Ramos says that "beautiful hair needs vitamin and protein-packed beauty foods." Topping the "beauty foods" list: milk! So, drink up!

VMA After-Parties
Once the Video Music Awards were over on MTV, the real partying began. Plenty of the evenings biggest stars hit the Atlantic Records post-VMA bash.
Our cameras caught Diddy, Paris Hilton, Snoop Dogg, Fantasia and Lil' Kim (ain't freedom grand?) among the bevy of stars that partied the night away. Earlier in the evening, we caught up with Pharell, Kanye West, Jay-Z and more at pre-VMA parties around Manhattan.
So as you can see, the VMAs are great, but the real partying takes place before and after the big show. Check it out in our VMA edition of Star Catcher NY.

VMAs Hottest Moments
The biggest names in music rocked Radio City Hall in New York last night for the 2006 MTV Video Music Awards. While some critics have already panned the show as one of the worst in years, you can't blame the stars.
A leather clad Beyoncé rocked the house with her new single "Ring The Alarm," Shakira gyrated all over the place in belly dancing garb and Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz even brought a monkey to the red carpet.
Check out TMZ's gallery of the hottest people, moments and on stage performances from the evening. It might be easier than sitting through the three-and-a-half hour show again.
Pink's Demonic Message
When female celebrities sport cute little messages on their clothing, it's usually in a very subtle manner. But that's not how Pink rolls.
After emerging from an LA area tanning salon, the singer was spotted rocking a devilish tank top with the phrase "Sun Your Buns In Hell" printed across the chest. It's fair to point out that in her VMA nominated video, "Stupid Girls," she hypocritically pokes fun at girls that get sunless tans. Guess that's one topic a little too hot for t-shirts.

VMAs Set to Sizzle
It's a battle between some peppers and a sizzling hip shaker for the most MTV Video Music Awards nominations.
Shakira and the Red Hot Chili Peppers lead the pack with a total of seven noms each. Madonna and Vegas rockers Panic! at the Disco each have five nominations and Christina Aguilera picked up four.
This year's winners will be determined a little differently from past shows. For the first time in VMA history, viewers can vote for their favorites in every category -- rather than just the viewer's choice.
The VMAs will air live from New York's Radio City Music Hall on August 31. Artists and groups already confirmed to perform include Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, T.I., Ludacris, The Killers and Panic! at the Disco.
Cameras caught up with Justin, Beyonce and T.I. as they each spoke about what it's like to perform at the VMAs.
