Coachella 2025 man arrested for threatening to bomb Coachella

A California man was arrested by cops over the weekend for threatening to bomb the Coachella Music & Arts Festival.

Davis Darvish, a 40-year-old man from Santa Monica, allegedly approached a security guard at a Southern California casino on Saturday and made the threat to bomb the popular music festival where hundreds of celebrities hang out and perform.

According to reports, cops caught up with Darvish about an hour after he made the initial threat and that's when the Cathedral City Police Department searched Darvish's car but thankfully no explosives, weapons, or bomb-making materials were found.

Weezer bassist Scott Shriner isn't offering much in the way of details about the incident involving his wife getting shot by the cops this week ... other than to cheerfully say she's "all right."

Our photog caught up with Scott as he walked his four dogs in their L.A. neighborhood Thursday, two days after his wife, Jillian Lauren Shriner, was injured in a police shooting and later booked for attempted murder -- for allegedly pointing a gun at cops and pulling the trigger.

3 PM PT -- Los Angeles Police Dept. Spokesperson Jennifer Forkish tells TMZ ... "Our investigation revealed evidence such as a shell casing and video footage showing she repeatedly ignored police commands to disarm and that she fired her weapon at LAPD officers. She was subsequently booked for attempted murder of a peace officer."

We're learning more about the police-shooting incident involving Jillian Lauren Shriner, wife of Weezer bassist Scott Shriner, in L.A. this week ... and she's been released on $1 million bond after allegedly firing a single shot and being booked for attempted murder.

TMZ also obtained police-scanner audio, which provides new insight into Tuesday's crazy shootout between Jillian and the LAPD.

As you can hear, officers on the ground and helicopters flying overhead coordinate a response to search for a male suspect ... who apparently stripped down to his boxers and dove into a pool in an attempt to throw off the chase.

California Highway Patrol and LAPD officers responded to a hit-and-run Tuesday afternoon on a freeway winding through the Eagle Rock neighborhood of Los Angeles. Three unidentified suspects fled the scene on foot -- one bailed out of his vehicle, climbed over a freeway embankment and ended up on a residential street.

The suspect stripped off some of his clothing, trying to blend into the neighborhood -- it didn't work.

Outrage is brewing over a police shooting in Idaho ... video shows a group of officers shooting a teen armed with a knife, but the boy's family says he's nonverbal, autistic and suffers from cerebral palsy.

The incident happened in Pocatello ... with cops shooting 17-year-old Victor Perez 9 times in the yard outside his home, leaving him in critical condition ... according to the Associated Press, which also reports Perez had to have a leg amputated.

Video of the Saturday shooting went viral ... sparking protests outside Pocatello PD. Folks say they're questioning why the 4 officers who responded to the scene appeared to be trigger-happy and didn't make much of an effort to de-escalate the situation before unleashing a hail of bullets.

Audrey Hale -- the Nashville school shooter who killed three children and three adults in 2023 -- committed the crime for fame and notoriety ... this according to police.

The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department released its final report on the shooting after two years of investigations ... and, they claim Hale was motivated by a desire for notoriety.

Investigators note Hale wanted to die in a way that would matter and be remembered ... even studying the notoriety of Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold after Colorado's Columbine High School shooting back in 1999.

The NBA is, once again, looking into an incident involving Ja Morant and a possible connection to firearms.

League insider Shams Charania reported Wednesday that Association officials have launched an investigation into the Grizzlies superstar ... after he was seen making finger-gun gestures in Memphis' tilt with Golden State on Tuesday night.

Ja appeared to form his hands into mini guns ... and then aim them at Buddy Hield, who had been talking some smack to the Grizzlies guard just moments prior. The two guys both ended up getting technicals for their roles in the tiff.

Terrell Suggs has just been sentenced to probation over allegations he waved a firearm at a man during a 2024 altercation at an Arizona Starbucks.

The former NFL superstar learned the punishment inside a Maricopa County courtroom on Tuesday morning.

The judge in the case ordered Suggs to 18 months of supervised probation -- but told the ex-Baltimore Ravens pass rusher he "can get off in half that time ... if you've done everything you're supposed to."

12:04 PM PT -- Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Jayden Dandridge was found shot multiple times in an abandoned building on March 27. The Harris County Institute of Forensic Science ruled his death a homicide. Houston PD detectives have not made any arrests, nor have they disclosed a motive.

Memphis Police are no longer pursuing the suspect they ID'ed on video in the Sauce Walka shooting that also killed rapper Sayso P ... because the guy is no longer alive!!!

Monday morning, Memphis Police announced 21-year-old Jayden Dandridge had been found deceased in Houston, Texas. No further details were released.

Rapper Mo3 New Video Shows Gunman Chasing Rapper on Highway

9:56 AM PT -- Yella Beezy's lawyers, Toby Shock and John F. Gussio, are now speaking out about the case, telling TMZ ... they attended a court hearing today with Yella and, during the proceeding, the prosecutor entered the shooting video into evidence and introduced a couple of new arrest affidavits for codefendants. The prosecutors also asked the court to allow a witness to testify that Yella was one of the key people who allegedly supplied money to the accused shooter, Kewon White, to do the hit on Mo3.

The attorneys also said they were "gratified" the judge lowered Yella's bail to $750,000 from $2 million, citing a lack of evidence against him and other factors. They summed it up by saying ... "We look forward to fighting the case in court — Yella denies the charges."

Video of rapper Mo3's shooting death is surfacing for the first time ... and you see him being chased down in broad daylight by a hitman.

Prosecutors in Texas just released footage of Mo3's November 2020 killing, and the video picks up with Mo3 stopping his car in the middle of Interstate 35 in Dallas ... getting out of his ride and running for his life.

The masked gunman stops his car a few yards in front of Mo3 ... and with traffic whizzing by, both men get out and start running down I-35.
