President Donald Trump says the U.S. has the hantavirus situation under control ... but he admits there's only so much he can do as fears grow over the deadly cruise ship outbreak.

Trump addressed the increasing panic Monday from the Oval Office ... telling reporters, "I hope it's fine," while insisting the country is in "very good shape" -- despite the virus, which comes from contact with infected rodent waste, spreading aboard the stricken cruise ship MV Hondius.

POTUS added ... "All I can do is everything that a president can do, which is actually somewhat limited."

Absolute tragedy in Mexico ... a massive fire ripped through a packed fairground, killing at least 5 people.

Video from the horrifying scene Thursday night shows huge flames tearing through the Parque Tabasco shopping mall fair in Villahermosa in Southern Mexico. Terrified crowds of fairgoers scrambled to escape flames and thick smoke billowing into the sky.

Officials say they finally got the blaze under control by Friday morning, according to Tabasco’s Civil Protection agency.

Tabasco Governor Javier May Rodríguez confirmed investigations are now underway to determine what sparked the deadly inferno ... and he also announced the state will provide economic recovery for impacted businesses.

The deadly hantavirus outbreak aboard the MV Hondius is causing serious panic worldwide ... and now video has emerged showing the ship captain announcing the first death onboard.

Travel content creator Ruhi Çenet had been on the ship before debarking after the first death, on April 11 ... he later hopped on IG to share video of the captain addressing passengers in a communal area, revealing one guest had died the night before.

The captain also said the ship doctor believed the illness wasn’t infectious ... but just one day later, the dead passenger’s wife also died -- and Ruhi says things only got worse after he left, with the ship's only doctor fighting for his life. So far, there are three reported deaths.

A deadly virus outbreak aboard a cruise ship may have spread far beyond the vessel itself ... because nearly two dozen passengers reportedly wandered across the globe before health officials finally tracked them down.

According to reporting from Spanish newspaper El País, 23 passengers aboard the MV Hondius got off the ship during a stop on the remote Atlantic island of Saint Helena in April -- despite the fact people onboard had already gotten sick and at least one passenger had died.

A Spanish passenger still aboard the ship told the outlet the travelers had no clue they may have been exposed to hantavirus -- a potentially deadly disease with a mortality rate WHO reports could be as high as 40% -- when they disembarked and headed home.

Iran is flaunting a U.S. fighter jet it claims to have shot down ... and the U.S. military is reportedly launching a rescue mission for the crew.

Iranian media and a source "familiar with the incident" are saying responders are searching for the jet's two crew members ... Axios reports.

Iranian state media published pictures Friday, allegedly showing the debris from the crash. There are conflicting reports about whether the plane in question was an F-15 or F-35 fighter jet.

You can see in the photo ... there's a partial logo that reads "U.S. Air Forces in Europe" -- which CNN reporter Paula Hancocks says typically appears on the tailfin of an F-15.

New video of the 2025 Washington D.C. plane crash shows the commercial jet and Army helicopter flying straight towards each other ... moments before the explosive collision.

The new footage is horrifying to watch -- showing American Airlines flight 5342 and an Army "Black Hawk" chopper burst into flames in the mid-air crash that killed all 67 people onboard both aircrafts.

What's also scary is new documents obtained by 60 Minutes reveal that there were two other near-collisions in D.C. between planes and military helicopters ... just the day before the January 29 incident.

What started off as relatively peaceful No Kings protests across the country Saturday later devolved into utter chaos, with demonstrators in multiple parts of the country resorting to violence and police making a bunch of arrests.

Footage from the demonstrations in cities such as L.A., Denver and Portland shows more than 8 million people nationwide protesting President Trump's strict immigration polices, skyrocketing costs, and the American war with Iran.

Demonstrators also showed up in Trump's backyard in Palm Beach, Florida, to express their anger at what they perceive as 47's authoritarian rule. The Coast Guard was even seen posted up in the area.

At first, things were pretty calm with protesters making their voices heard by holding up anti-Trump signs while calling for him to leave office ... but then it all went downhill after demonstrators clashed with federal agents and counterprotesters in the aforementioned cities.

Noelia Castillo Ramos' father encouraged her to take a few steps with the use of a pair of canes ... in a heartbreaking video that has emerged after she opted to be euthanized.

Noelia's dad -- Geronimo Castillo -- says Noelia will be running again soon ... lovingly referring to her as a "machine" in the new video published by the Spanish outlet Okdiario.

Noelia's dad flashes a small smile for the camera as she moves along slowly ... though she doesn't speak during her dad's running commentary.

No Kings demonstrations have kicked up all over the country Saturday ... and it's led to some feisty arguments between people on opposite sides of the political spectrum.

Protests have popped up in major cities like Chicago, Washington, D.C., New York City, Los Angeles ... and down in West Palm Beach, Florida -- where words were exchanged between protesters and counterprotesters.

In the video, the No Kings demonstrators are peacefully demonstrating on the side of the road -- when they engage in an intense back-and-forth with several men who walk up.

Noelia Castillo Ramos' parents were not with her when she died following a voluntary euthanasia procedure, TMZ has learned.

A spokesperson for Abogados Cristianos -- Christian Lawyers, the organization representing Noelia's dad in his legal attempt to stop the procedure -- tells TMZ neither her mother nor her father were present for her death Thursday.

News outlets reported a judge denied her father's last-minute request to stop the medically-assisted suicide ... but the spokesperson tells us Christian Lawyers wasn't aware of him taking any specific action leading up to the procedure.

Three people were killed Thursday in a helicopter crash at Kalalau Beach on Kauai, Hawaii ... multiple agencies report the chopper crashed into the ocean near the beach around 3:45 PM.

Officials say the helicopter was operated by Airborne Aviation -- a doors-off thrill-seeker helicopter tour company -- according to the Kauai Police Department.

Officials say 4 passengers and 1 pilot were on board ... and the 2 survivors were taken to Wilcox Medical Center in Lihue.

Barcelona woman Noelia Castillo Ramos died Thursday, after voluntarily undergoing a euthanasia procedure.

According to a public statement, Christian Lawyers -- the group representing Noelia's dad -- wrote ... "We deeply regret her death and denounce that this case highlights the serious flaws in the euthanasia law, which does not protect the most vulnerable people. We urge politicians to use her story to drive urgent changes and prevent something like this from happening again."

Noelia's father reportedly tried to halt the medically-assisted suicide at the last minute, but a judge rejected his request, according to Antena 3 Noticias.

Rebecca Liquori -- a surviving passenger on the Air Canada plane that collided with a fire truck on the runway at LaGuardia Airport this week -- can't get the sound of people screaming out of her head ... as she focuses on healing from the near-death experience.

TMZ caught up with Rebecca Thursday, just days after the pilots of her plane were killed in the crash ... and she walked us through her thoughts, from the moment the plane came to a crashing halt, to the moment she deboarded to discover its entire front had been torn off.

Watch the clip ... she tells us it was chaos when the plane hit the truck -- passengers were screaming and they had no instructions from the crew -- one of whom was ejected, landing on the tarmac.

Rebecca is a nurse, and her instincts quickly took over as she opened the emergency door and helped fellow passengers out. She notes despite the panic, passengers came together with a "herd mentality" to help everyone exit the aircraft safely.
