The Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York -- where music mogul Diddy is currently being held as he awaits his sex-trafficking trial -- was subjected to an "interagency operation" Monday ... feds confirm to TMZ. Investigators from several federal agencies arrived at the facility early this morning.

A spokesperson for the Federal Bureau of Prisons tells TMZ ... the operation at the federal jail is a collaboration between the FBOP, the U.S. Department of Justice Office of the Inspector General, and other law enforcement partners as part of "intensive efforts to improve conditions" at the controversial facility.

The rep said the agencies' "interagency operation" was "designed to achieve our shared goal of maintaining a safe environment for both our employees and the incarcerated individuals housed at MDC Brooklyn."

Zachery Ty Bryan has been arrested ... with cops booking the former "Home Improvement" star with DUI and driving without a license -- and, the whole interaction was caught on police cameras.

According to the arrest docs, the former child star was approached by Oklahoma police at approximately 6:47 AM on Friday ... when cops say they made contact with Bryan who was fast asleep in the back seat.

Officers say they spoke briefly to Bryan before leaving him be ... but, later saw him driving. At that point, cops say they conducted a traffic stop, pulling him over to the side of the road where he told the officer he was intoxicated.

David Eason is in the clear after his ex, Jenelle Evans, accused him of trespassing and theft while she was out of the state ... TMZ has learned.

A rep for the Columbus County Sheriff's Office in North Carolina tells TMZ ... the case was investigated after Jenelle accused David of violating a court order and trying to steal the "Teen Mom" alum's motorbikes while she was out of town, but officers determined nothing was taken that he wasn't allowed to take. We're told the case has now been closed.

As we reported, David was the one who called for the authorities to do something called a civil standby ... which the sheriff's office said was done to make sure the stuff he took didn't violate the no-contact order.

The Menendez brothers' prison is taking no chances with security threats following the major update in the infamous siblings' case ... TMZ has learned.

A source within the California Department of Corrections tells TMZ ... prison security has been beefed up after L.A. County D.A. George Gascón's announcement, in which he confirmed he would ask a judge to resentence Erik and Lyle Menendez -- who are currently serving life without the possibility of parole sentences for the 1989 murders of their parents, Kitty and José Menendez. Gascon filed the document officially asking a judge to resentence them Thursday evening.

We're told guards are working overtime to keep everyone safe inside the prison ... as well as outside the facility, given the likelihood that lookyloos will descend upon the Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility in San Diego County.

The judge who will decide the fate of Erik and Lyle Menendez could do way more than what the D.A. is asking for ... he could free them the very day he hears their case.

As we reported, L.A. County D.A. George Gascón has filed legal docs asking Judge William C. Ryan to resentence the Menendez brothers. Based on a new law, the judge could change their sentence -- life without the possibility of parole -- to the possibility of immediately winning parole.

Thing is ... for Gascón to get his way, the Parole Board would have to hold a hearing and then decide if Erik and Lyle have been rehabilitated and are no longer a threat to society.

The Menendez brothers may have just caught a break in their resentencing ... because the judge in their case is notoriously liberal -- and, local attorneys say he's letting them out.

Judge William C. Ryan of the Los Angeles County Superior Court has been assigned the Menendez case ... and, we've talked to a number of prominent attorneys who have argued before this judge and personally know him, and they all highlight his fairness and open-minded nature.

We're told he's smart and fearless ... and supervising judges like to assign him sensitive cases other judges would be afraid to handle.

The Menendez brothers are one step closer to their potential freedom ... but L.A. County D.A. George Gascón, who’s recommending the resentencing, is rejecting calls that he’s letting them off the hook.

Gascón spoke to "Good Morning America" Friday, following his big announcement yesterday -- and he made it clear that despite the good news for Lyle and Erik, the murders of their parents, Kitty and José, were brutal acts, and morally they haven't been given a free pass.

He explained his recommendation for their release is based on the belief that the brothers are not the same people they were at the time of the brutal murders 35 years ago ... as they've spent a lot of time doing good works while behind bars.

The Menendez brothers are a step closer to potentially getting out of prison ... because Los Angeles' District Attorney just filed the document officially asking a judge to resentence them.

D.A. George Gascón filed the motion mere minutes ago ... asking a judge to change the brothers' sentences from life without the possibility of parole to life with the possibility of parole. Because of time served, this would allow them to potentially be released from prison immediately.

It's a long document ... but, basically, the D.A.'s office says Erik and Lyle have been upstanding inmates and no longer present a risk to public safety -- so, there's no reason to keep them locked up.

Jesse Williams' ex-wife's asking the court not to make any changes to their custody arrangement ... saying giving Jesse more time with the kids just means they'll see their nanny more.

The actor's ex, Aryn Drake-Lee, filed a response to Jesse's motion asking for more time with their children Wednesday ... saying Williams is out of town more than he's in town, so a babysitter will primarily be interacting with their kids if they stay with him more.

Drake-Lee claims their kids stayed with a nanny for much of this past spring while Williams was off working somewhere ... and says the kids missed more school during this period than any other time in their lives.

Todd Chrisley's looking for work in prison -- he got canned from his job at the prison chapel, all because he was getting too chatty with certain inmates ... TMZ has learned.

The reality TV star's attorney, Jay Surgent, tells us ... Todd was dismissed from his administrative role at the chapel inside FPC Pensacola, where he's locked up.

He says Todd had been assisting a chaplain, helping set up church services for inmates of different faiths -- including Christian, Jewish and Muslim -- and was doing a good job, according to Surgent.

Halle Berry's going to like this ... the judge in her never-ending custody battle with ex-husband Olivier Martinez sided with her in a dispute over their co-parenting agreement.

Here's the deal ... over the summer, Halle claimed Olivier was trying to take time off from co-parenting therapy, and she complained and asked the judge to force Olivier to go back.

In new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, the judge sided with Halle ... but did note Olivier had already complied with her request after she dragged him to court over the issue.

Justin Bieber thinks it's way too late to say "Sorry" when it comes to some of his former business managers -- he thinks they grossly mismanaged his money, and it could be time to take legal action.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... Justin's been very upset for several years, claiming he's lost a ton of money as a result of terrible decisions made by business managers -- we don't know how many managers, but we do know it's more than one.

It's unclear just how much Justin thinks has been squandered -- other than it's a huge amount -- but our sources say he's discussing the possibility of filing a lawsuit against the alleged offenders. We're told his current team is split -- some members want him to sue, but others don't.

The Menendez brothers case is set to take a dramatic turn -- with fresh evidence uncovered, a major decision's just around the corner ... and it could even mean a shot at their freedom.

L.A. County D.A. George Gascón told CNN Tuesday that by the end of the week he’ll have a decision on whether Erik and Lyle Menendez -- who are currently serving life sentences without parole for killing their parents José and Kitty Menendez in 1989 -- will be resentenced, or will get a new trial.

A new trial could result in the pair getting new sentences -- and one possible outcome is a downgrade of their convictions from first-degree murder to manslaughter, which could see them walk free with time served.

1:27 PM PT -- Michael Jeffries, the ex-CEO of Abercrombie & Fitch, has been released on bond following his indictment Tuesday ... TMZ has learned.

A spokesperson for the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of NY tells TMZ ... the controversial businessman has been released on a $10 million bond. Meanwhile, his boyfriend, Matthew Smith, who was also included in the indictment, was released on a $500K bond.

As for James Jacobson, who allegedly lured in men to participate in "sex events," was detained.

Jeffries and Jacobson are set to be arraigned Friday afternoon at a federal courthouse in Long Island.

The Ex-CEO of Abercrombie & Fitch is mirroring the lifestyle Diddy allegedly lived ... at least according to the feds who've now secured an indictment against Michael Jeffries for very similar crimes.

A grand jury hit Jeffries -- who was Abercrombie's CEO from 1992 to 2014 -- with 15 counts of interstate prostitution and one count of sex trafficking. The indictment includes Jeffries' BF Matthew Smith and James Jacobson, who allegedly recruited men for "Sex Events" ... and made them have sex with him in "tryouts."

According to prosecutors for the Eastern District of NY, Jeffries and co. fully exploited his Abercrombie power, running "a business that was dedicated to fulfilling their sexual desires and ensuring that their international sex trafficking and prostitution business was kept secret."

More drama for Jenelle Evans and her estranged husband David Eason -- she claims he broke onto her property and tried to steal dirt bikes and ATVs ... with a cop watching it all go down.

Jenelle tells TMZ ... David, his girlfriend and 3 other men took bolt-cutters Sunday night and cut off the locks to the gate at her North Carolina property. She says they drove up to her garage and broke inside, loading up all her motorcycles and other property on a trailer.

The "Teen Mom" star has surveillance video of the whole caper, which she says was in violation of a court order she got during their divorce, barring David from setting foot on the property.

Kendra Sunderland is in the clear in her marijuana possession case, TMZ has learned.

Legal docs obtained by TMZ reveal the adult film actress' case has been dismissed 2 months after her arrest in Montgomery County, Texas, for felony marijuana possession.

You'll remember, Kendra was caught with less than one gram of THC in Texas, where marijuana is still illegal. A cop reportedly saw a THC vape pen on Kendra's lap as she was sitting in the passenger seat of a vehicle during an unrelated traffic stop. After her arrest, docs showed she was released on a $1,000 bond.
