Diddy Federal Jail Target of 'Interagency Operation' To 'Improve Conditions' for 'Safe Environment'
The Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York -- where music mogul Diddy is currently being held as he awaits his sex-trafficking trial -- was subjected to an "interagency operation" Monday ... feds confirm to TMZ. Investigators from several federal agencies arrived at the facility early this morning.
A spokesperson for the Federal Bureau of Prisons tells TMZ ... the operation at the federal jail is a collaboration between the FBOP, the U.S. Department of Justice Office of the Inspector General, and other law enforcement partners as part of "intensive efforts to improve conditions" at the controversial facility.
The rep said the agencies' "interagency operation" was "designed to achieve our shared goal of maintaining a safe environment for both our employees and the incarcerated individuals housed at MDC Brooklyn."

Officers say they spoke briefly to Bryan before leaving him be ... but, later saw him driving. At that point, cops say they conducted a traffic stop, pulling him over to the side of the road where he told the officer he was intoxicated.

The Menendez brothers case is set to take a dramatic turn -- with fresh evidence uncovered, a major decision's just around the corner ... and it could even mean a shot at their freedom.
L.A. County D.A. George Gascón told CNN Tuesday that by the end of the week he’ll have a decision on whether Erik and Lyle Menendez -- who are currently serving life sentences without parole for killing their parents José and Kitty Menendez in 1989 -- will be resentenced, or will get a new trial.
A new trial could result in the pair getting new sentences -- and one possible outcome is a downgrade of their convictions from first-degree murder to manslaughter, which could see them walk free with time served.

1:27 PM PT -- Michael Jeffries, the ex-CEO of Abercrombie & Fitch, has been released on bond following his indictment Tuesday ... TMZ has learned.
A spokesperson for the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of NY tells TMZ ... the controversial businessman has been released on a $10 million bond. Meanwhile, his boyfriend, Matthew Smith, who was also included in the indictment, was released on a $500K bond.
As for James Jacobson, who allegedly lured in men to participate in "sex events," was detained.
Jeffries and Jacobson are set to be arraigned Friday afternoon at a federal courthouse in Long Island.
The Ex-CEO of Abercrombie & Fitch is mirroring the lifestyle Diddy allegedly lived ... at least according to the feds who've now secured an indictment against Michael Jeffries for very similar crimes.
A grand jury hit Jeffries -- who was Abercrombie's CEO from 1992 to 2014 -- with 15 counts of interstate prostitution and one count of sex trafficking. The indictment includes Jeffries' BF Matthew Smith and James Jacobson, who allegedly recruited men for "Sex Events" ... and made them have sex with him in "tryouts."
According to prosecutors for the Eastern District of NY, Jeffries and co. fully exploited his Abercrombie power, running "a business that was dedicated to fulfilling their sexual desires and ensuring that their international sex trafficking and prostitution business was kept secret."

Legal docs obtained by TMZ reveal the adult film actress' case has been dismissed 2 months after her arrest in Montgomery County, Texas, for felony marijuana possession.
You'll remember, Kendra was caught with less than one gram of THC in Texas, where marijuana is still illegal. A cop reportedly saw a THC vape pen on Kendra's lap as she was sitting in the passenger seat of a vehicle during an unrelated traffic stop. After her arrest, docs showed she was released on a $1,000 bond.
