Eyewitnesses tell TMZ ... the Gwen Stefani-led popular '90s group rented villas at La Quinta Resort this past weekend while Coachella Weekend 2 went on -- shocking the resort guests.

The whole crew checked in on Friday and checked out Sunday ... a quick weekend trip specifically for Coachella.

Ciara is trying to drop major poundage after having her fourth baby -- and she's not afraid to show off the progress along the way ... including how much she weighs right now.

The singer posted a photo dump Thursday, which was basically just an update on her life. It included lots of different shots -- including her looking good in a car, her working out, her in the studio, her posing with famous pals, playing pickleball and her with her kids.

User @beysus.christ -- obviously a Beyoncé superfan -- put on her internet detective hat and started chasing down leads in the "Who is DJ Backwoods Barbie???" mystery, and she posted her findings online, breaking the news gently she doesn't think Bey's coming to Stagecoach.

In the clip, beysus says she found a user on Instagram who commented about how excited they were to see DJ Backwoods Barbie on all of Barbie's IG posts and a post from the official Stagecoach account.

Pet Shop Boys singer Neil Tennant doesn't think Taylor Swift has any famous songs ... even though he's been presented with evidence to the contrary.

The British musician blasted Taylor's A-list status while recently chatting with The Guardian -- claiming she doesn't have enough hits to make her as big of an icon as Michael Jackson. You can tell his hot take had mixed reactions by the way people respond in the crowd.

He says, "Taylor Swift sort of fascinates me as a phenomenon because she’s so popular, and I sort of quite like the whole thing, but then when I listen to the records … for a phenomenon as big, where are the famous songs? What’s Taylor Swift’s 'Billie Jean'?"

Coachella weekend 2 wrapped up on a low note, financially speaking, as the music festival is facing a $28,000 fine over Lana Del Rey's set.

A rep for the City of Indio, where Coachella takes place, tells TMZ ... the singer's show went over 13 minutes on Friday night. Might not sound like THAT bad of an infraction, but it's enough to trigger the hefty fine.

Lana's weekend 2 set featured 19 songs in total ... including a surprise performance from Camila Cabello, who performed her new single, "I LUV IT."
