Sabrina Carpenter, Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello lit up the VMAs with their performances ... serving up a juicy love triangle playlist that had everyone reading between the lines.

Sabrina was in her zone Wednesday night, belting out "Taste" right in front of Shawn -- awkward, as the song’s rumored to be all about him ditching her for Camila after their short-lived fling.

Shawn then followed with a performance of "Nobody Knows," with lyrics like “flying too close to the sun” -- an apparent nod to Camila’s IG bio, which reads, “long, thick black hair turned white from flying too close to the sun.”

The pop megastar snagged the VMA for Video of the Year for her tune, "Fortnight," and was handed her trophy by none other than the show's host Megan Thee Stallion.

Taylor stepped up to the mic onstage to give a speech thanking the people who helped her create the music video.

Justin Timberlake just sealed a plea deal in his DWI case ... hammering out an agreement that does not involve drunk driving or even a criminal offense ... he's copped to a traffic violation.

The singer's lawyer, Edward Burke Jr., and prosecutors just got the judge in the DWI case to sign off on the deal. The DWI charge is officially dropped, and Justin will cop to Driving While Ability Impaired ... according to sources with direct knowledge.

Although the word "impaired" is used, it is NOT a drunk driving offense. As for the penalty, we're told Justin will pay a $300 to $500 fine, and that's it. The judge will set the exact amount of the fine during a hearing Friday, when the plea deal is officially before the court.

Frankie Beverly, the legendary soul singer and founder of the funk band Maze, has died.

The singer’s family announced his death on Facebook Wednesday ... keeping the cause of death private and asking for space as they grieve.

Beverly's said in their statement, "He lived his life with pure soul, as one would say, and for us, no one did it better. He lived for his music, family and friends. Love one another as he would want that for us all."

Chester Bennington's son Jaime says he's getting death threats from Linkin Park fans after criticizing the band’s controversial lead singer, Emily Armstrong.

Jaime claimed in an IG vid Monday people have been sending him nasty messages, including some telling him to kill himself and questioning whether he truly understands what his dad would want if Chester were alive today.

Jaime highlighted the hypocrisy in their messages, saying if they really understood how his dad died, they’d realize their trolling comments are inappropriate, and way off. Chester died by suicide in 2017.

Multiple myeloma is rare type of cancer that forms in a type of white blood cell called a plasma cell, according to the Mayo Clinic. Life expectancy varies from person to person, taking into account factors including kidney function, cancer progression and overall health.
