Some of Hollywood's biggest stars are descending on Nashville for this year's Country Music Awards ... and they're dressed to the nines on their way into the big event.

Kacey Musgraves, Shaboozey, Miranda Lambert and Luke Bryan are among the country music stars showing off their fashionable looks Wednesday night at Bridgestone Arena ... and that's just the tip of the iceberg.

The CMA Awards are set to bring out the biggest stars in country music ... with Lainey Wilson, Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning hosting the major awards show in Nashville Wednesday night.

Like in years past, a number of stars are expected to hit the stage as presenters, winners, and performers ... with this year's lineup already including Post Malone, Luke Combs, Shaboozey, and Kacey Musgraves, among others.

Country singer Jamey Johnson's Sunday was far from a funday, as cops hauled him in for drug possession and speeding in Williamson County, Tennessee ... TMZ has confirmed.

The singer-songwriter had a deadly serious stare as cops snapped his mug shot after the Tennessee Highway Patrol made the arrest.

According to News Channel 5 in Nashville, Johnson posted a $5,000 bond before he got out of jail Monday. Cops say the case is still under investigation, and they've yet to release a narrative about what allegedly went down prior to his arrest.

Prince's sister Tyka Nelson suffered congestive heart failure when she died ... but authorities say her heart was also weakened by substance abuse.

The Minnesota Dept. of Health issued Tyka's death certificate, which lists cardiac arrest as the primary cause of death, and congestive heart failure as the secondary cause.

According to her death certificate, the 64-year-old singer and songwriter suffered cardiac arrest about 45 minutes before she was pronounced dead. She'd also battled non-ischemic cardiomyopathy -- a general term for abnormal heart function -- for more than 4 months.

Dolly Parton's brother, David, has died ... this according to their sister -- who paid tribute to him on social media.

Stella Parton announced the sad news via X Friday ... saying her wonderful brother had passed away -- adding it's never easy to lose a loved one, but she knows David is now at peace.

The Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine, Tennessee posted his obituary to their website ... confirming he passed away peacefully at home. No cause of death was included.
