Hayden Panettiere's boyfriend Brian Hickerson faced serious money issues during their on-again, off-again relationship ... TMZ has learned. 

TMZ obtained a Chapter 7 bankruptcy petition filed by Brian on July 18, 2022, listing assets totaling $25,700 and liabilities totaling around $60k.

He said his monthly expenses totaled $1,248 per month, but his average monthly income was zero. Brian listed his assets as a 1990 Ford Bronco with 160k miles worth $3k, an "inoperable" 2008 Toyota Prius worth $2k, a Harley-Davidson worth $3k, and a Chevrolet Silverado truck worth $8k. Brian said the truck was his dad’s, but it was in his name.

The petition says pretty much the only other property he owned was an iPhone and printer worth $1,250, $2k in clothing, and $100 in jewelry. The paperwork said he had $6,250 in his checking account.

Frank Beard, the longtime drummer for legendary rock band ZZ Top, has died ... TMZ has learned.

According to the Fort Bend County Medical Examiner Frank passed away on August 17 at his Texas ranch with family by his side after a stay in hospice. A cause of death has not been disclosed at this time.

ZZ Top founder Billy F. Gibbons released a statement on his passing saying, “Today, Elwood and I lost a great friend and collaborator, and the world lost one of the most naturally innovative drummers and a great and true son of Texas. His signature backbeat was key to keeping ZZ on top. The band of which he was part for six decades is going to keep on keeping on as he had wished.”

As TMZ previously reported ... Frank's health forced ZZ Top to cancel its August 5 concert at the Hollywood Bowl.

LaTisha Collier is out of the slammer -- for now -- after filing an appeal in her forgery case ... and she just dropped a baby bomb.

The "Love After Lockup" star posted a short video to the 'Gram on Tuesday ... revealing a baby bump as her husband, Keith Collier, drove. Nothing was said by either in the clip ... but the message was pretty clear -- now what?!?

As TMZ reported ... LaTisha was released from prison earlier this month ... and she'll be out until a decision's made about her appeal -- after she was sentenced to 15 years behind bars for allegedly scamming clients of her financial firm.

Slash says his business manager accidentally overpaid spousal support to his ex-wife ... to the tune of a whopping $1.5 million ... and now he wants a judge to let him deduct it from future payments.

The Guns N' Roses guitarist -- legal name Saul Hudson -- recently filed a request in Los Angeles County court ... claiming a mistake by his longtime business manager caused the massive overpayment to Perla Ferrar.

Slash pays Perla $100,000 a month ... plus additional quarterly amounts tied to his income above certain thresholds.

He says his business manager failed to adjust those extra payments when the maximum Perla could receive dropped over the years, which he says led to the overpayments.

Brian Hickerson's brother made the shocking discovery of an unresponsive Hayden Panettiere on Sunday ... and he was just spotted out for the first time since the tragedy ... and only TMZ has the photos.

Police in South Carolina are trying to get their hands on surveillance footage that's said to show Hayden Panettiere entering and exiting the apartment complex where she died, TMZ has learned.

TMZ obtained the Greenville Police Department's heavily redacted incident report, which reveals the complex's courtesy officer has CCTV footage of Hayden, her boyfriend Brian Hickerson, and his brother Zach on the premises.

A responding officer wrote ... "I spoke with the courtesy officer of Judson Mills and he advised he has CCTV footage of all three individuals coming and going. He will be doing a supplemental report and uploading that footage."

Hayden Panettiere's final animal-rights campaign has been released following her death -- the actress filmed the powerful spot just two weeks before she suffered cardiac arrest and died.

PETA unveiled the campaign Tuesday, showing the late "Heroes" star naked in a bathtub, speaking out against marine parks and dolphins and whales being held in captivity.

Hayden used the bathtub to make a strong, simple point ... imagining spending an entire lifetime confined to a space that small ... similar to marine mammals living in tanks.

Hayden Panettiere’s boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, allegedly sent her threatening text messages after his 2020 arrest for domestic battery ... years before she spoke out about forgiving him.

TMZ obtained court docs filed in Brian's 2020 criminal case, which show alleged threats he sent to Hayden after his arrest.

Brian was arrested on February 14, 2020, after he allegedly struck Hayden in the face with a closed fist at an Airbnb in Wyoming. Officers say they arrived to find Brian intoxicated and locked out of the home.

McKenna West is fighting back against the temporary restraining order preventing her from seeing baby Gabriel ... claiming she is presumptively the legal mother of the child in the state of Texas, where the baby was born.

According to court docs obtained by TMZ, McKenna says a Texas judge signed off on the temporary restraining order ... but she says they got it all wrong.

McKenna gave birth last week to the baby she calls Gabriel after the biological parents, Nausheen Gilkar and Omar Ahmed, asked her to abort the baby due to a heart defect. The temporary restraining order gives custody and full decision-making authority to the infant's biological parents, who are from California.

In the new filing, McKenna claims the judge issued the order in violation of the law. She says she is the presumed parent under Texas law and insists the order violates her rights.

Brian Hickerson was asleep in another room when Hayden Panettiere went into cardiac arrest ... and sources tell TMZ it was Brian's brother who discovered her.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... Brian and Hayden were both inside an Airbnb in Greenville, South Carolina, Sunday afternoon -- when Zach Hickerson entered the residence and found Hayden in a chair in the living room.

We're told at the time Zach arrived, Brian was sleeping in a separate bedroom.

Ron DeSantis has suspended Michael Allen Caruso -- a Palm Beach clerk he had appointed and a former state representative -- after Caruso was busted for allegedly kidnapping and molesting a young child.

The 67-year-old was arrested and booked on 5 felonies Tuesday ... molestation, kidnapping, luring and enticing a child, lewd and lascivious exhibition, and child abuse ... according to multiple reports.

According to the Miami Herald, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office report says Caruso is accused of repeatedly molesting the child, who is his relative and is under 12 years old.
