Rissa G. and Shaquan Roberts -- better known as Riss & Quan -- are breaking their silence on the backlash over their newborn's unique name ... telling TMZ they're standing by it and happy to see more couples following suit.

We caught up with the viral YouTube duo in NYC this week, and they admit they were blindsided by the reaction to their son's name -- Secure -- but say the chatter's cooled off now that bold baby names are becoming the new norm.

The couple tells us they thought fans would love the name ... it's meant to reflect the strength and "security" in their relationship, but the Internet, of course, had other ideas.

Pete Davidson and model Elsie Hewitt are expecting their first child together ... and they're not going anywhere without their pregnancy pillow.

Pete carried the giant cushion for his girlfriend as they were snapped out and about in New York City. The two dressed comfortably in sweats and hoodies.

In addition to the pregnancy pillow, Pete also had a Goyard suitcase and other bags in tow. How chivalrous! Elsie followed behind her man in a leather jacket, joggers, and Uggs.

9:35 AM PT -- We just found out Chris and Alba had a baby girl, and named her Alma Grace. She's taking both Mom and Dad's last names ... Baptista Evans, and she arrived at 1:27 PM.

Records indicate they welcomed their first child Friday in Massachusetts. So far no word on name or gender.
