The suspect arrested Monday for allegedly driving through the gates of Jennifer Aniston's Bel Air home has been identified ... and police tell us they are investigating it as a possible stalking situation.

Authorities tell us ... the LAPD threat management unit is investigating after Jimmy Wayne Carwyle allegedly drove onto the actress' property, where her security held him at gunpoint until police took him into custody.

Police sources tell us they're looking into evidence this is an alleged stalking incident ... and noted investigators are reviewing social media posts under Carwyle's name.

The ex-NBA star gave further details on the April 24 incident during his appearance on the "Dan Patrick Show" on Tuesday ... and he said, thankfully, the 18-year-old is now doing "very well" and "fully recovering."

Arenas said after he was notified of what happened, his immediate concerns were whether Alijah suffered any broken limbs or burns ... and as we know now, that luckily wasn't the case.

5/6/25 10:15 AM -- The Los Angeles Police Department tells TMZ … a suspect identified as 48-year-old Jimmy Wayne Carwyle was booked for felony vandalism, and was held without bond.

Jennifer Aniston was chilling at home when a man drove through the gates of her Bel Air property in L.A. -- and her security guards held him at gunpoint until cops came and arrested him ... law enforcement sources tell TMZ.

We're told the scary incident happened just after noon on Monday ... and cops believe the driver is in his 70s.

Our sources say after the crash, Jen's home security team rushed over to the car, got the driver out, and kept their guns trained on him as they waited for LAPD to arrive.
