Trey Songz Sues Concert Promoter for Over $500K

Trey Songz says a Texas concert promoter left him hanging before a scheduled show ... and now he's suing for more than half a million bucks.

According to a new lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, Trey claims his production company struck a deal with promoter Darryl Austin in April for Trey to perform at Will Rogers Auditorium in Fort Worth on August 8.

Trey's company says Austin made the first required payment ... but allegedly failed to make the second installment due July 8, then asked to postpone the concert.

The surprise appearance came during Toliver’s Octane tour stop in Miami, where the rapper delivered a high-energy set before bringing out the pop superstar.

ZZ Top is back on the road ... taking the stage in Austin Saturday night for its first concert since longtime drummer Frank Beard died earlier this week.

We broke the news of Beard’s death last week. Frank died at 77 while receiving hospice care at his ranch in Texas with loved ones by his side. No official cause of death was released.

As you can see, the couple is all smiles as they dance to Noah's hit -- "Dan" -- with Jennifer shooting video of the band with her cell phone. 

Currently, Noah is on his "Great Divide Tour" from June 2026 to December 2026, wrapping up his American dates before heading to Australia, New Zealand, and Europe in the fall.

California rockers Buckcherry got into a deadly crash in South Carolina while they were traveling on their tour bus to their next gig, according to the band.

Buckcherry posted the bad news on Instagram Stories, writing that their bus was involved in a multi-vehicle accident on I-26 in Spartanburg County, SC, around 2 AM Friday.

They said they were "extremely grateful to report that all members of Buckcherry and our touring crew are safe and unharmed.”

Chris Brown Ex-Housekeeper Wins Right To Collect Cut of Usher Tour Income

Some of the money Chris Brown is pulling in from his uber-successful nationwide tour with Usher could land in his former housekeeper's pockets soon ... a Los Angeles judge ruled she has a right to collect her judgment from what he's bringing in on tour, TMZ has learned.

Court docs obtained by TMZ reveal the judge presiding over Maria Avila's lawsuit granted her request to assign money Chris gets from royalties and tour income to her to satisfy the $13 million judgment she won in her dog attack case against him.

Chris objected to the request, but the judge apparently wasn't swayed.

Unclear if Chris will ask for reconsideration or appeal the ruling.


As TMZ first reported, Chris was ordered to pay Maria the 8-figure sum after she won her lawsuit over a vicious dog attack at his L.A. home in 2020.

The singer denied allegations of wrongdoing, but a jury found Chris liable for the attack.

Timbaland is being dragged to court by a DJ who claims he was fired from the Timbaland and Missy Elliott tour shortly before it was scheduled to start ... and the DJ says he believes nepotism is at play.

TMZ obtained the lawsuit filed by DJ E Feezy against Timbaland and his company, Mosley Touring ... and he claims he was fired to clear the way for Timbaland's son to replace him.

The DJ said he was invited in 2024 to perform as a DJ for the Timbaland/Missy Elliott tour scheduled to take place between July 2024 and August 2024.

Earth, Wind & Fire drummer John Paris briefly woke from an induced coma and asked to leave the hospital ... but doctors were forced to sedate him again after his blood pressure rose and he struggled to breathe.

Doctors placed Paris in an induced coma after he arrived at the hospital from his medical emergency last week so they could provide critical care ... according to an update from a Facebook page created by Verdine White's wife, Shelly.

At one point, Paris opened his eyes, looked around, and asked for his wife, musician Kathy Merrick. Once he saw her, he turned to a close friend named Eddie and joked, "Get me outta here."

The emotional breakthrough brought tears, laughter, and renewed hope to those at his bedside ... but it was short-lived.

The man accused of peeing all over a family at a Morgan Wallen concert has been arrested ... and he's now facing multiple criminal charges ... TMZ has learned.

Maryland Transportation Authority Police tell TMZ ... 33-year-old Jayson Reed was arrested in North Carolina following an investigation into the July 18 incident at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore.

Police say Reed is charged with four counts of second-degree assault, public urination and other related offenses. He's currently being held in North Carolina pending extradition to Maryland.
