We caught up with El Presidente -- a massive Swiftie -- down in the Big Easy ahead of the Big Game ... and while he's not confident enough to put a few bucks down on a postgame proposal, he's giving the possibility his full support.

"They kind of are the first couple of the United States," Portnoy said. "The Super Bowl is as big as it gets, so I actually like that. I actually like that move."

Losing Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn will NOT be the end of the Lions ... at least, that's what Calvin Johnson is saying -- as the Detroit legend tells TMZ Sports he's confident his squad will recover.

Jessica Alba has filed for divorce from Cash Warren ... and speaking of cash, sources in the know tell TMZ, there's no prenup.

Jessica and Cash announced their split back in January, but they made it official Friday. Jessica filed her docs, with the help of disso queen Laura Wasser, and Cash filed immediately thereafter with the help of attorney Adam Lipsic. His docs mirror hers.

Our sources say the divorce is "extremely amicable."  They're both asking for joint physical and legal custody of their kids, ages 16, 13 and 7.

The six-time Pro Bowler, of course, has battled snow throughout his eight-year stint in Cleveland ... and when we got him out after NFL Honors in New Orleans on Thursday night -- just days after he requested a trade from Cleveland -- he made it clear continuing that trend is just fine with him if he is ultimately dealt.

Garrett told us straight up, "I don't mind snow" -- before insisting the only criteria he has for his next team is a stacked roster.
