Pro soccer player Kian Harratt was caught on video throwing a chair in the middle of a CRAZY poolside brawl, striking a woman ... though he insists she wasn't the intended target!

The melee went down last week in Ibiza, where the Oldham Athletic striker was having some fun in the sun.

But, the relaxing summer vibes quickly ended when Harratt and some guys got into it with another man who was poolside.

Tensions were high between the Sparks and Sky on Tuesday ... as Rickea Jackson and Angel Reese got physical during an on-court scuffle.

It went down in the first quarter of the LA vs. Chicago game at Wintrust Arena ... when Sparks forward Jackson and Sky forward Rebecca Allen got tangled up under the rim while battling for the rebound.

It got a little too rough for Jackson's liking ... so she lunged at Allen, who immediately called her out for the thrust and got in her face -- and that's when Reese got involved.

The man who went toe-to-toe with Adrian Peterson at a poker game last month tells TMZ Sports it was actually the NFL legend's mouth that caused the fists to fly.

Joe "Baby Joe" Castaneda said on Tuesday his May 27 brawl with A.P. at a social club in Houston, Texas all went down because the future Hall of Famer hurled an insult at one of his buddies.

Castaneda -- a professional poker player -- couldn't recall exactly what quip Peterson fired off ... but he said after he stood up for his pal, "that's when the melee kind of broke out."

The reliever's outburst went down during the second game of the Pittsburgh vs. Detroit doubleheader ... after Santana says a man sitting near the Pirates' bullpen "crossed the line."

Footage shot by fans near the incident shows Santana pointing out the trash-talker to security, before he leaps up and attempts to hit the man in the face with an open left hand.

Former NFL superstar Adrian Peterson got into a fistfight with a poker player following a dispute over a hand ... and the tussle was all captured on video, obtained by TMZ Sports.

The shocking scene unfolded back on May 27 ... while Peterson and others were playing cards at JokerStars -- a social club in Houston, Texas.

Former "Empire" star Bryshere Gray allegedly lunged at a man and punched him at a hotel last Friday before assault charges were filed ... this according to the criminal complaint obtained by TMZ.

The alleged assault went down in Chesapeake, Virginia ... where a man named Dustin Wilkins was trying to help the actor with a payment dispute at the Homewood Suites.

Wilkins says he told Gray he can't just skip out on the bill for his stay -- reasoning he has plenty of other issues to worry about and that he was simply trying to "save" his life -- which seemingly angered Gray. It's unclear if the two men know each other.
