Rapper Vic Mensa has some deep thoughts on musicians, the industry and creative personalities in the modern world ... after a viral social media clip had some questioning his sincerity and sanity.

We caught up with Vic in L.A., at the Waymaker Men’s Summit event, part of BET Weekend, and asked about the emotional video he posted earlier this week on X, in which he got teary-eyed about the modern state of the industry. He labeled his breakdown, "Mental Health & the Streaming Era."

The "Dark Things" rapper told us Thursday, he was initially worried about being seen as weak in the video, but now says he's on a mission ... and no longer "allowing fear to make my decisions for me."

Diddy's ex-girlfriend is testifying about the pain she says she went through during her relationship with the mogul ... saying she had to fight off multiple infections and other ailments.

ESPN anchor Jay Harris just revealed he's been diagnosed with prostate cancer ... and while he'll be away from the "SportsCenter" desk for some time, he's vowing to come back "better than ever."

Harris -- who joined ESPN in 2003 -- broke the news to Michael Strahan on "Good Morning America" ... revealing he found out about the cancer over a month ago. He's scheduled to have surgery next week and will require some recovery time before returning to his day job.

"My doctor's quite optimistic," the 60-year-old said. "Per my last scan, nothing has spread. So, once we take out the prostate, hopefully that will be it. That's the goal."

Morten Harket -- the singer of Norwegian band A-ha's iconic song "Take On Me" -- has revealed a shocking medical update ... he's been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.

The '80s pop star announced his diagnosis on the band's website Wednesday ... revealing he's had two advanced surgeries -- one in June 2024 and the other in December 2024 -- to have electrodes implanted deep inside each side of his brain, which greatly alleviated his symptoms.

Still ... it's a long journey ahead with the disease. The band's biographer, Jan Omdahl, spent a weekend with Morten and described his handling of Parkinson's as "a round-the-clock effort to balance medication, signals from the electrodes in his brain, sleep, blood sugar and mindset in a way that keeps the symptoms and side effects more or less in check."

Jessie J just dropped a major health update -- in a candid and surprisingly lighthearted Instagram video, she announced she has been diagnosed with breast cancer.

The "Bang Bang" singer shared the heavy news Tuesday -- and is keeping an eye on that silver lining as she highlighted her cancer was found on the earlier side, noting ... "Cancer sucks in any form, but I’m holding onto the word 'early.' I have been in and out of tests throughout this whole period."

Mohamed Sabry Soliman appeared in Colorado court Monday following an attack on pro-Israel protesters gathering in Boulder, Colorado on Sunday ... Soliman is accused of using Molotov cocktails and what the FBI describes as a "makeshift flamethrower."

Soliman will be charged with 16 counts of attempted murder -- two for each of the eight victims, according to the New York Times. Soliman has been charged with at least one federal hate crime ... “hate crime involving actual or perceived race, religion, or national origin.” He was held on $10 million bond, and formal charges are expected Thursday.

Boulder Police said a crowd was attacked at a pro-Israel event called the "Run for Their Lives" walk at the city's Pearl Street Mall Sunday afternoon ... Molotov cocktails were hurled at people, injuring 8. Soliman was arrested shortly afterward.

Devin Harjes, best known for his role on "Boardwalk Empire" is dead.

According to Devin's obituary, he died on May 27 at Mount Sinai West Hospital in New York. The Hollywood Reporter reported he died after a brief battle with cancer.

He began his career in Texas theater before moving to New York. He was best known for playing Jack Dempsey on the HBO series. He also played roles on shows such as "Gotham," "Orange is the New Black," "Daredevil," "Elementary," "Blue Bloods," "FBI," and "Manifest."

The former President of the United States was in Delaware Friday ... giving his first public remarks since revealing his prostate cancer diagnosis.

A reporter asked Biden about claims that he wasn't totally mentally and physically fit while he was in office -- allegations levelled in Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson's new book "Original Sin: President Biden's Decline, Its Cover-up, and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again."

Ryan Phillippe and his restaurant are catching some legal smoke ... 'cause a woman is suing them after one of their candles allegedly caught her hair on fire.

Jody Sanders is suing Phillippe, events pro Jeffrey Best, and the restaurant The Hideaway for general negligence ... claiming that even though she wasn't in the kitchen, she couldn't stand the heat at lunch one day.

Sanders claims back in April 2024 she attended an event at the Beverly Hills hotspot where Phillippe's an investor. While sitting at the bar, Sanders alleges, her hair was burned by an "unattended wax candle burning on the bar's surface." She's seeking an unspecified amount of damages.

Cassie Ventura is trading the courtroom for the hospital ... and it sounds like she may be about to go into labor.

Our sources tell us Cassie was rushed to a New York hospital Tuesday, and she is in the labor and delivery unit.

Another source tells us Cassie may be having complications.

Jim Ross is providing fans an update two weeks after revealing his cancer diagnosis ... saying the fight starts today, and he's ready to kick the disease's ass!

Ross, preparing to go under the knife, posted from the hospital Monday morning, alongside one of his daughters. Jim captioned the photo ... "Checked n and ready to kick this cancer out on its ass."

Of course, the wrestling legend alerted fans to his latest health crisis earlier this month, announcing he was diagnosed with colon cancer ... and was slated for surgery.
