Lionel Richie has spoken out for the first time following the mid-show health scare that sent him to the hospital on June 24.

The "All Night Long" hitmaker took to Instagram to share performance photos from his Pittsburgh and Detroit concerts, telling fans he's "doing well" and thankful for all the love he's received.

A spokesperson for McConnell tells TMZ ... "Senator McConnell appreciates the outpouring of support he's receiving while he continues his recovery in the hospital. The Senator continues to improve, and is working closely with his staff on Kentucky and Senate matters while the Senate is out of session."

The update comes after days of rampant social media speculation falsely claiming the 84-year-old Republican had died ... rumors that spread after TMZ reported new details surrounding the medical emergency that landed him in the hospital last month.

Harvey Weinstein's recovering nicely after suffering heart failure ... according to his longtime representative.

Juda Engelmayer tells TMZ ... Weinstein is "out of the woods for now" and feeling fine. The antibiotics treated his pneumonia, and his heart is doing much better because the doctors are monitoring it with an EKG.

We're told Weinstein is already able to walk around.

It's a huge improvement from his previous condition ... remember, Weinstein suffered heart failure behind bars at Rikers Island weeks ago because of the pneumonia, and he was rushed to Bellevue Hospital.
