Gypsy Rose Blanchard is well aware of the backlash after she participated in a viral TikTok challenge ... and she's realized it went pretty damn poorly.

Here's the deal ... Gypsy has been flamed online since she seemingly made light of her mother's murder while taking part in the "We Listen and We Don't Judge" challenge with influencer Natalie Reynolds.

Gypsy sat down with TMZ's Charlie Neff and told us ... she totally gets it and people are not overreacting to the moment when she seemed to shrug off her mother's gruesome murder ... and she's sorry.

Sofia Coppola's daughter Romy Mars is giving all the behind-the-scenes details on what it was like growing up as the famous director's daughter ... and some of it is shocking.

Responding to a TikTok user who joked Romy was "written by" Sofia, Romy clarified that she was, in large part, raised by babysitters ... or as she calls them, "many different women in their 20s" ... and one of them allegedly gave her marijuana when she was just 11 years old!

According to Romy, 19, one of her babysitters offered her the illicit substance before bed.

Romy said, "We smoked together on the fire escape and talked about her boyfriend's mommy issues until I fell asleep."

She continued, "One of the hardest parts about the last 10 months, although I can’t possibl[y] pick just 1, is having to live without him. Some people might read that and think it’s obvious, but it’s a daily mountain to climb. Waking up without him next to me, not getting to talk to him every day, not getting to see his perfect smile, and so much more." She followed it up with a serious word of warning ...

Local outlet Sözcü reports Eraslan's family members visited her home after failing to get a hold of her. Relatives reportedly called the police when no one answered her door.

Officers reportedly found her body and she was pronounced dead at the scene. She had just returned from a trip abroad, and an actor friend just missed her at home.

Popular food influencer Ben Wood has died ... and the tragedy occurred while he was attempting to rescue someone drowning in Chile.

According to reports ... Wood, his partner, and his father saw a woman struggling in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Chile, and they rushed to save her. Both men and women were swept out to sea during the rescue attempt and drowned. The bodies were recovered by the Chilean Navy. The unidentified woman's partner, who also rushed in, survived.

Wood was a popular food vlogger from Connecticut who lived in Chile with his family ... and he was known for sharing fun videos of himself tasting local Chilean drinks and cuisine.

Carolina Reyes -- known to her hundreds of thousands of followers as Carol the Warrior -- has died.

The influencer's family announced her passing in an Instagram post Wednesday, writing, "It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our warrior."

Jeff Nippard -- a popular bodybuilder and fitness influencer -- has suffered a major loss ... his fiancée has died.

Nippard's team broke the bad news Friday, issuing a statement on Instagram about the passing of Stephanie Buttermore. Her cause of death was not released.

The statement touches on Nippard's 10-year relationship with Buttermore, who "meant the world to Jeff." It also honors Buttermore's legacy of "warmth and compassion, her love for her family, and her PhD research on ovarian cancer.” 

Karla Thaynnara -- a popular influencer known for posting about her motorcycle life -- has died ... which reportedly led her father to end his own life.

According to Brazilian outlet Correio Braziliense, the 25-year-old Karla died Tuesday around 8 AM local time after her motorcycle collided with a car on a highway. She was knocked down on the road, and run over by another car.

Her father -- reserve military police officer José Carlos Andrade Nogueira -- arrived at the scene and, after learning of his daughter's death, reportedly died by suicide.
