A few golfers got the surprise of their lives during a round on Friday when a plane made an emergency landing just feet from where they were teeing off ... and video from the scene is terrifying.

It all went down at around 1 PM at the iconic Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles ... when an aircraft reportedly battling engine issues was forced to touch down on one of the course's fairways.

Check out some footage a golfer filmed as it barreled toward the grass ... it skidded across the ground several times before it somehow made a safe stop near a sand trap.

Security cameras captured the moment Alijah Arenas crashed his Cybertruck last week ... with the footage showing the luxury vehicle ramming into a tree before coming to an abrupt stop.

The 18-year-old USC commit was driving back from a workout in the San Fernando Valley when he seemingly lost control of his car ... and veered into a fire hydrant and tree around 4:55 AM.

2:25 PM PT -- Prospect Park Police tell TMZ the poo-petrating suspect has been identified as 44-year-old Christina Solometo ... and she's now facing charges of indecent exposure, disorderly conduct creating a hazardous or physically offensive condition, criminal mischief - property damage, harassment, and depositing waste on the highway.

The Prospect Park police chief told us they've spoken to Solometo on the phone and in person, and she's fully cooperated ... she hasn't been taken into custody yet, but she'll be turning herself in to be booked in the near future.

Here's the poop ... oops, we mean scoop! PA police are investigating a road rage incident that quickly turned crappy when the woman jumped out of her vehicle and sprayed the other car with her fecal matter. What's worse, it was all caught on video!

The disturbing clip shows the aggressor -- dubbed on social media as the "Delco Pooper" -- walking from her black car over to a silver sedan, squatting, and proudly defecating on the hood of the car.

Pastor T.D. Jakes is stepping back from his duties in his megachurch ... announcing his successors months after a medical incident onstage ended with him on the operating table.

The pastor -- who served as the head of The Potter's House church since he founded it back in 1996 -- told the church Sunday that he would be handing over his duties to Sarah Jakes Roberts and Toure Roberts, his daughter and her husband.

The unoccupied sheriff's SUV was parked on the right shoulder in front of another marked police unit and a disabled vehicle, which was occupied by a passenger -- and despite emergency lights flashing, a 35-year-old female driver veered onto the shoulder and slammed straight into the cop vehicle in the rear with full force in Volusia County.

The impact caused the SUV to strike the disabled vehicle too, sending the woman's Hyundai Tucson spinning across three lanes of traffic before it smashed into a guardrail on the other side. The whole thing happened early Sunday around 3 AM.

Green Day's set at Coachella came to a terrifying end when a rogue firework shot off straight into a crowd of people, setting a palm tree on fire.

The group was finishing its set Saturday night at the Coachella Music Festival in Indio, CA when a firework display went clearly wrong, and one of the explosions went off towards a crowd of people. It's unclear if anyone was injured.

A video on TikTok shows a palm tree going up in flames but you see firefighters move in to quickly extinguish the flames. You hear event organizers repeatedly screaming, "Everybody out please."

3 PM PT -- Los Angeles Police Dept. Spokesperson Jennifer Forkish tells TMZ ... "Our investigation revealed evidence such as a shell casing and video footage showing she repeatedly ignored police commands to disarm and that she fired her weapon at LAPD officers. She was subsequently booked for attempted murder of a peace officer."

We're learning more about the police-shooting incident involving Jillian Lauren Shriner, wife of Weezer bassist Scott Shriner, in L.A. this week ... and she's been released on $1 million bond after allegedly firing a single shot and being booked for attempted murder.

TMZ also obtained police-scanner audio, which provides new insight into Tuesday's crazy shootout between Jillian and the LAPD.

As you can hear, officers on the ground and helicopters flying overhead coordinate a response to search for a male suspect ... who apparently stripped down to his boxers and dove into a pool in an attempt to throw off the chase.

Jillian was shot by police when she emerged from her house with a gun in her hand as the male suspect prowled her next-door neighbor's backyard, where the pool was located.
