Kansas City Chiefs coach Eric Bieniemy's son, Elijah Bieniemy, will undergo a competency evaluation as he faces serious charges in the shooting of his own mother Mia Bieniemy ... with a judge granting a motion on the matter Thursday morning.

The 27-year-old's public defender claimed Elijah is dealing with mental health issues and unable to assist in his own defense.

Bryan Kohberger Read His Handwritten Letter Slamming Ex-Lawyer, Blaming Them For Life Sentence

Bryan Kohberger handwrote his plea to withdraw his guilty plea … as he makes move to toss his life sentence for the murders at the University of Idaho, TMZ has learned.  

TMZ obtained the petition filed by Kohberger, who is currently locked up in an Idaho prison serving a sentence of life without parole, claiming his trial lawyers were “ineffective.” 

In the paperwork, Kohberger alleged he entered his plea in the case “not knowingly or voluntarily” because “he was induced by unkept promises.” 

Taylor Frankie Paul Turned Down Sweetheart Custody Deal

Taylor Frankie Paul rejected a temporary custody agreement which would have afforded her substantially more supervised time with two of her kids ... TMZ has learned.

Sources familiar with the proposed custody agreement Taylor turned down tell TMZ ... her ex, Tate Paul, proposed giving Taylor approximately 35% parenting time with her 8-year-old daughter, Indy, and a 6-year-old son, Ocean, while the juvenile court case remains pending.

We're told the proposed schedule -- which was offered to Taylor on Monday -- included visits every other weekend from Friday through Monday, as well as a midweek overnight visit.

Our sources say the proposed deal was made in an effort to align Taylor's parenting schedule with the time she already has with her 2-year-old son Ever ... allowing all three siblings to spend time together. Ever's father is Taylor's other ex, Dakota Mortensen.

The Union of European Football Associations is drawing a line in the sand ... with all 55 of its members agreeing to boycott FIFA over a proposal to put the World Cup in the hands of private investors.

UEFA shared a strong statement on Thursday ... saying, "The World Cup cannot be treated as an investment product. It is one of football’s greatest sporting legacies. It has been built over generations by players, national teams and supporters across every continent. No part of it should ever be surrendered to private investors. The World Cup is not for sale."

FIFA president Gianni Infantino detailed the plan to raise $20 billion through the sale of a stake in the proposed FIFA Forward Enterprises, which would essentially operate the World Cup and influence future tournament plans.

L.A. Model & Influencer Arrested in Connection to Alleged Theft ... Months After Separate Arrest

An L.A. model and influencer already in deep you-know-what with prosecutors has found herself on the wrong side of the law again ... because she was just arrested in a separate theft case months after being hit with a slew of burglary charges.

Here's the deal ... Adva Lavie -- also known as Mia Ventura -- was arrested by Beverly Hills Police on Tuesday in connection to a theft allegation out of Riverside County in Southern California, NBC 4 Los Angeles reports. She's also allegedly in violation of a court order, and she's being held without bail.

This is a separate theft allegation unconnected to her previous charges.

Back in March, prosecutors charged Lavie with two counts of unauthorized use of personal identifying information; two counts of grand theft; one count of first-degree residential burglary with a person present and one count of first-degree residential burglary.

Howard Stern scored a big win in court ... with a judge tossing his ex-assistant's entire lawsuit and ruling the NDA at the center of their legal war still stands.

According to the decision, obtained by TMZ, the judge rejected Leslie Kuhn's claim that the shock jock's company may have hacked her work email and electronically signed the May 2025 agreement for her.

The court pointed to an email sent from Kuhn's account saying, "Signed NDA attached" -- along with the agreement bearing her electronic signature. The judge called her hacking theory a "bald assertion."

Drake Von -- an award-winning gay porn star -- can't seem to stay out of the clink, because he was busted for possessing a toxic substance in Los Angeles ... continuing a string of arrests.

Von, whose real name is Dawson Bacon, was busted Tuesday and booked in the LAPD Van Nuys jail for misdemeanor possession of a substance similar to toluene — a colorless liquid that is highly toxic when inhaled and causes dizziness. Records show Von was released Wednesday on his own recognizance.

The LAPD tells TMZ ... cops received a call for two males using narcotics on the street on Tuesday night and when officers arrived on scene, they took Von into custody, but did not arrest the second person.

A Rhode Island man whose birth was formally declared a "miracle" by Pope Leo XIV has been arrested in connection with a double shooting.

Tyquan Johnson, 19, is accused of shooting two people ... and he was apprehended by the U.S. Marshals fugitive task force at a Virginia home Wednesday morning, the Newport Police Department announced.

Police say Johnson shot two people in Newport, Rhode Island on July 19 and fled to Virginia.

The two people he allegedly shot suffered non-life-threatening injuries. A second person is wanted for questioning in connection with the shooting, but Newport police did not identify them.

Taylor Frankie Paul is telling her exes "hell no" when it comes to their latest child custody proposals because she would get to see her kiddos less than 50 percent of the time, according to a new report. 

Citing a source, Page Six says "The Secret Lives of Mormon Lives" star recently received two separate custody agreements from her children's fathers, Dakota Mortensen and Tate Paul, with the men asking for 60 percent of custody to Taylor's 40 percent.

Well, that didn't sit well with Taylor, the source said, and she quickly rejected the proposals, reportedly saying she will do what's in the best interest of her kids.

The ex-JPMorgan banker accusing his boss of sexual abuse admits he pinned his claims on another employer online ... but says he was only covering his tracks out of fear.

According to new court docs, obtained by TMZ, the banker is pushing back on a claim from Lorna Hajdini -- the JPMorgan exec he sued -- that he visited an online legal-advice site and accused a Morgan Stanley supervisor of similar misconduct, involving drugging, sexual assault, and rape ... as part of an alleged scheme for personal gain.

The banker admits he used the site and made the claims appear to involve Morgan Stanley ... but insists he was actually describing his alleged experience with Hajdini at JPMorgan and camouflaged the details because he feared retaliation.

A Massachusetts couple is getting a hefty payout after ex-eBay employees allegedly sent them cockroaches, a bloody pig mask, and a funeral wreath.

The online marketplace has agreed to shell out $46 Million, and and additional $6 Million in charitable donations, to Boston couple David and Ina Steiner who say they were cyberstalked and harassed by the company's former employees back in 2019 ... according to settlement details posted on the couple's website EcommerceBytes.

That spring, Ina had been writing articles for their site that had pissed off eBay execs ... to the point that chief executive Devin Wenig allegedly told his communications chief, "Take her down," according to the New York Times.
