The Pacific Palisades wildfire has torn apart so much of the affluent West L.A. neighborhood forever ... but, it couldn't tear apart this owner and his dog -- 'cause the two found their way back to each other Sunday.

Here's the deal ... Liz Kreutz -- an NBC News correspondent covering the devastating fires in L.A. -- shared a clip Sunday monring showing a man named Casey Colvin returning to his block in Pacific Palisades to look for his dog.

Apparently, someone spotted this dog -- named Oreo -- in the rubble and called Casey down to the area ... and, the two enjoyed a tearful reunion.

Perry asks if anyone else finds it "appalling that insurance companies can take billions of dollars out of communities for years and then, all of a sudden, be allowed to cancel millions of policies for the very people they became rich on?"

Joshua Jackson’s current and childhood home is the latest to be burned to the ground as wildfires continue to torch neighborhoods across the Los Angeles area.

The structure of the home in the Topanga Canyon neighborhood of L.A. was destroyed over the weekend as the Palisades Fire continues to ravage the area.

JJ's swimming pool remains the only thing on the property that's still intact as the flames left the structure and surrounding hillside completely burned.

Two men were arrested for curfew violations within the Palisades Fire evacuation zone not far from Vice President Kamala Harris' Los Angeles property.

The LAPD says they responded to the VP's Brentwood neighborhood around 4:30 AM on Saturday. Two individuals were taken into custody for being in the area past the curfew set due to the ongoing wildfires.

Law enforcement sources told NBC4 there is no evidence the men ever entered the VP's property. The arrests come as heightened security measures are in place in the area due to the ongoing evacuation order zone for the Palisades Fire, which as of Saturday night has burned over 23,000 acres and was only 11% contained.

It's unclear if the VP or any of her family members were home at the time of the arrests. The VP or her office have yet to comment on the incident.

A man was arrested in Azusa -- a city just east of Pasadena where one of the largest fires in L.A. is raging -- Friday ... and, cops claim he may have tried to start another fire.

Azusa PD tells TMZ  ... officers were dispatched to a local park just before midnight in regards to a brush fire -- where they claim a witness told them the man who lit the fire was still at the scene.

Officers located the suspect -- a "transient" named Jose Carranza-Escobar -- who they claim admitted to lighting the fire. Cops then arrested Carranza-Escobar.

The British-born Australian actor -- born blind with cerebral palsy -- had his own cottage on the family's 17-acre Mount Malibu TV Studio estate, which burned down in the fire, per his mother.
