The Pacific Palisades wildfire has torn apart so much of the affluent West L.A. neighborhood forever ... but, it couldn't tear apart this owner and his dog -- 'cause the two found their way back to each other Sunday.

Here's the deal ... Liz Kreutz -- an NBC News correspondent covering the devastating fires in L.A. -- shared a clip Sunday monring showing a man named Casey Colvin returning to his block in Pacific Palisades to look for his dog.

Apparently, someone spotted this dog -- named Oreo -- in the rubble and called Casey down to the area ... and, the two enjoyed a tearful reunion.

Tyler Perry's sick to his stomach watching coverage of the L.A. fires ... and, he finds insurance companies ability to cancel policies on a whim "appalling."

The actor-producer posted to Instagram early Sunday morning ... writing a video of a woman staying in a mandatory evacuation zone to try and save her parents' home because their fire insurance was canceled rocked him to his core.

Perry asks if anyone else finds it "appalling that insurance companies can take billions of dollars out of communities for years and then, all of a sudden, be allowed to cancel millions of policies for the very people they became rich on?"

Jhené Aiko's dream house is gone, reduced to ash by the Pacific Palisades wildfire ... and, video of the rubble is totally shocking.

The singer-songwriter took to her Instagram this weekend ... sharing a clip from the ruins of her former home -- staring at the burned husk of a car in the driveway.

Aiko then walks up toward where the house used to stand ... walls lying collapsed on the ground and debris littering the property.

Kim Kardashian wants more recognition -- and money -- for some real heroes fighting the Los Angeles wildfires ... calling on the government to pay inmates fighting the fires more.

Spencer Pratt is turning to social media and his fans for financial help after losing his home in the catastrophic wildfires raging through Los Angeles.

Spencer took to TikTok on Saturday urging his followers to support both him and his wife, Heidi Montag, as they attempt to secure a potential Hulu show and rebuild their lives.

According to Pratt, he and Heidi's agents have a call scheduled with the streaming service on Monday. "We’re trying to get a show on Hulu," Pratt explained in the video, saying now more than ever they need fan support to make it happen.

Two men were arrested for curfew violations within the Palisades Fire evacuation zone not far from Vice President Kamala Harris' Los Angeles property.

The LAPD says they responded to the VP's Brentwood neighborhood around 4:30 AM on Saturday. Two individuals were taken into custody for being in the area past the curfew set due to the ongoing wildfires.

Law enforcement sources told NBC4 there is no evidence the men ever entered the VP's property. The arrests come as heightened security measures are in place in the area due to the ongoing evacuation order zone for the Palisades Fire, which as of Saturday night has burned over 23,000 acres and was only 11% contained.

A man was arrested in Azusa -- a city just east of Pasadena where one of the largest fires in L.A. is raging -- Friday ... and, cops claim he may have tried to start another fire.

Azusa PD tells TMZ  ... officers were dispatched to a local park just before midnight in regards to a brush fire -- where they claim a witness told them the man who lit the fire was still at the scene.

Officers located the suspect -- a "transient" named Jose Carranza-Escobar -- who they claim admitted to lighting the fire. Cops then arrested Carranza-Escobar.

A former child actor is among the victims killed in the massive Los Angeles wildfires ... with his mother saying she could not save him in time.

Rory Callum Sykes -- who appeared in the 90s UK show "Kiddy Kapers" -- was killed at his family’s Malibu home on Wednesday, his his mother, Shelley Sykes, announced in an emotional social media post.

The British-born Australian actor -- born blind with cerebral palsy -- had his own cottage on the family's 17-acre Mount Malibu TV Studio estate, which burned down in the fire, per his mother.
